I don't have any stake from the distribution but I want to help this community. Did you know that it's possible to retrieved files from hard drive failure, corrupted hard disk, deleted files and even formatted hard disk? The good thing is there's a lot a file recovery tools that you can use if you just going to search Google. The good thing is most of them are free!

It's up to the Dev if he really cares for his community and try to recover the wallet  using any recovery tools.

If software cannot fix the hard drive, specialist companies can recover data from a hard drive, often for as little as $120.

In the worst cases when they have to recover the data in a clean room it only costs $580 maximum.

What symptoms does the hard drive have?

Does it refuse to spin up, is it making a beeping sound, is it clicking, can it not be accessed by a laptop, is it no longer seen as a drive in My Computer?

A data recovery company could fix any of these problems.

As you say, it's up to the Dev to make the effort to solve this problem.

why there is not a list on google docs or whatever with the people who gets a stake? I think it should be more clear to everyone see what is happening and so people can know that he/she will not get the 2nd stake. Like me for example, I'm not complaining of not getting the 2nd one but I think it would better if it is done like I said

Some people didn't got nothing, but they are still supporting. But you started to behave like a little girl with tantrums. The worst is that you had already your first stake. Normally I don't like to say something bad about people but I hate ungrateful, greedy people.

I followed all the guidelines.
I was active before it was announced that only active members get stake.
I put a lot of time and energy into developing a faucet.
I voted multiple times a day.

And I was rejected from the second round.
It does not matter if I received coins the first time around - the rejection was a slap in the face.
I am truly pissed off.  It is not about the coins, it was just insulting.  I did more than a lot of people.

I was never given a chance to argue for my claim.  The dev never responded to my inquiry as to why I was not given claim.

Well, I swept up the dust in my Multibit wallet and sent it to Poloniex to take advantage of the fire sale. If luck is with me, I'll end up buying enough COMM to more than make up for the donations I've already made.

So dumpers, please dump. I'll take care of the COMMs; rest assured.

[Odd thing about Poloniex: the orderbook doesn't update live. My order was partially filled, but the rest of it seems to be hanging there. BTC deposit and COMM withdrawal work fine, though.

[EDIT: Turns out that toggling between Day view and Night view updates the orderbook. And I'm sad to say that my lowball bid was left in the dust by a recovery from ~43 satoshis to ~60. Oh well...]

I don't think you realise that when you get masses of pm's that you might oversee many people. If you were just patient you still would have a chance to receive the second stake:

i read some posts about omitted ones at second round, i'll prepare reconsideration form, few days later, there i'll ask from you what have you done so far. My basic rule is rewarding high productivity. (Selling comms in early stage asking others to do or attacking dev, spreading lies, sitting unopened wallet, not supporting community activities (like those who collecting multi pool) is not a good product or community spirit.) Don't come to me with empty or un opened wallet  bytheway. Don't try to be above community in anyway in bad manners or anything not positive. Don't revolt, if you do so it's because you think killing community is your business and i do not allow this.

see my plan:

1st priority who received before 1 m when compared those never received. Earliest one apply will get priority from later ones.
2nd those who believes did or can do alot to comm if some stake left i still open (always) gates those who did alot for comm.
3th line there is "waiting submission forms" of who lately applied.

For 2 community can also donate always if you do any good for comm.

I give no guarantee anyone but you will get my goodwill at least for these positive efforts. I can in some case put your dids OP with your wallet people there can donate you. Or i can support your post and invite others to donate.

So those who get 1 m before and still active will have a good change for the second 1 m.
 
Also if you do a lot and still i no pay you any comm dont attack me, i had to confront many difficulties. I could do this much.  Yes i did many errs. but without my dedicated efforts, be sure we could not come to this level. Remember 2 times our threads locked. I am not only fighting with delivery but also bitcointalk rules. I did 3 wallet updates + 200 posts. And you very well deserved my efforts. I am not complaining here. I am impressed. So i put more and more time here.

Lets keep the community spirit, action and get us some good products.

i have never said anything bad to people but i want to tell you are worse than the guy that cheated with the sock puppet accounts and then came back to laugh about it. i read every post and when distribution was still going on barely had started u were acting like you were already rejected a few people even stood up for you and offered you words of encouragement and told you just wait and be patient. and about the subredditt i remember someone was working to get you back as a mod. the whole time according to you the dev has already paid you .4btc and you got 1 mil coins that u already sold probable at its peak. so that is what 1.5 -2btc for just doing that and you still feel like you were cheated? my suggestion is take that money and get a new therapist because you do have some serious problems.

I remember de dev saying a while back that he will consider his job done once he has finished the distribution. So I think it's really up to us to get organised.
