omg what friggin happened? CommunityCoin $ 3,689 $ 0.000369 10,005,806 COMM* $ 14,760 -99.05 %
who is the dumper! who crashed us so hard.
But the price on Mintpal still 0.0000008-0.0000009 btc... May be it's a mistake on http://coinmarketcap.com ? Looks like the coinmarketcap total coins is wrong ... 10,005,806 they are not only 10 mil coins This is why it say -99% Let's spam coinmarketcap.

I don't know if anyone remembers, but the dev actually has more than 200 million coins hidden. There are actually 1 billion coins, not 800 million as advertised on the op.
Maybe you missed some of the history, please read about last changes on the wallet software. tldr: a wallet with ~200 million coins was lost by dev on a hard drive failure. That address was blocked on the software so those coins won't move (nodes won't accept them). Money Supply is yet ~1billion because those coins still exist (although they won't be allowed to be used on transactions). Adriano Need proof of the block. Show me the address on the blockchain. And you ask me to do your homework? If you don't believe on what I said, doesn't matter any links I post... go into the source and check by yourself, everything is there: the address and the changes made in order to block such transactions. Adriano I'm not a programmer but I am fully capable of checking an address on any cryptocurrency block explorer. If you cannot show me the address that was blocked, then why should I believe a word you say? I'm going to bed. Had a long day at work. Take it easy bro. http://cryptexplorer.com/address/CKGK6MFmBkreG7k5sU8gDEJNVJ57QZtN3H

That is possible, I guess. There may also be a different solution found. This presents a novel situation. Fear of the lost wallet will keep the price depressed, so there will not be the usual speculation.

People are afraid of buying, but the price is rising.. What does that mean ? (clue : look at the stock market)

the price is stuck there, we reached a consensus between seller and buyer, but the scene is not that good either for any coin right now

I just began syncing my wallet and I get a meager 5 peers. How many of you are actually minting out there and securing the network?

Regarding hard fork, Adriano said it is not so easy to implement. But still it is possible. If we look at other coins, hard forking is usual and in most cases transition is smooth.

I think that we should hard fork the coin, but I dont have any idea how that could be implemented.

A hard fork would be a very welcome opportunity to make sure the damocles coins are gone for good. It would also show that the coin is moving and not a one shot disappearing for good.
