This is a sad way to leave this earth, through a challenge that feels like mental failure. Players go through suicidal thought after losing everything, looking at it nothing really happened if only they'll understand that discipline would regain everything that felt like has been lost, including the most important of it all, their mind.

This disdaining action is the reason, I see, some employees watch closely over the behaviors of their colleagues, lately, tweets about the actions of employees sprout on my timeline, and advices go about ways to handle the situation.

In the deceased's case, it's like not a single person paid attention to the changes in his ways of doing things, and what may have led to the selling of his vehicles. A little act of kindness changes everything in situations like this, problem players, don't want any kind of closeness anymore due to the pain and heavy thoughts in their heart, but the right approach makes a little change which could save a life.

There is no point in taking your life just because you lost a hudge amount of money to gambling. I have said this several times that gambling is not a source of income or a get rich quick investment. Irresponsible gambling can result to irresponsible decisions and the extreme of it is taking one's life because of the frustration and pains of losing everything, now the dead knows nothing so it is his loved ones that will suffer the bigger lose of their suicide. Depression can lead people to consider suicide and if they are not strong enough to come out of it by themselves or share the thought with somebody that can talk them out of it they will likely kill themselves. People shouldn't take gambling too seriously or see it as a short cut to riches because it might not happen which can be devastating for those that are using more than the amount that they are comfortable to loose.

Currently, there are some unscrupulous companies that attract people by opening online gambling sites and advertising on various cheap platforms. But they always control the results of gamblers. Due to such unreliable companies, many gamblers have to lose large amounts of money again and again. Due to this, many cannot control themselves and sink into depression. When a gambler cannot find any other way to get rid of depression, they consider suicide as the only way out, then no power can hold them back. If the gambler starts gambling, if he cannot control himself, he may decide to commit suicide due to huge losses.

After a person realizes they've done something very wrong, they believe the easiest thing to do is simply decide to do it, because money can always be recovered, but the shame of admitting the mistake, the hard work to quit the adiction and honestly regain things, and especially: facing family and friends, is not something everyone can handle, and that is why the most cowardly prefer to shorten the suffering and commit suicide.

I understand that this is a sign of mental illness and that these people need help. The only thing I want to ask is that we do not talk about it as if it were something "incredible", talking about people like that as if they deserve some pity.

I want people who are thinking about doing something like this to know that: after they die, the world would not stop, someone will take their place at work and also in their family's life, the world will keep turning.

A very unfortunate incident indeed, and very painful that from time to time, we keep hearing and or reading about how one person ended his or her life as a result of gambling, I don't think a year can go by peacefully without some body somewhere around the world committing suicide as a result of what they encountered from gambling.. And more sad to even think about is the fact that many of this suicides happened that we don't get to hear or read about, it's only those that some how entered the news that we get to learn about.

We all have to really know that suicides is never and should never be an option when things get rough with gambling, we ourselve may have made up our minds never to allow ourselves to become victims of such circumstances, but we must also talk to our relatives as well who are into gambling.
For this man's case, I think the wife is the main reason why the man could bear the mistake he made, if only the wife knew better to support him at this time he was battling depression from the loss, maybe the man still be alive.

This was more than just the lost money the vehicles sold and how the money was used. The issue could also have been from the way the family had tried the whole matter. The wife specifically might have added more fire to the issue by pushing blame which the man can no longer live with. Nothing is certain, but in most cases if the family where supportive enough some things could have been avoided or at least talked out from given the person reason to live and not reason to take his own life.

What are your thoughts on this?

It's really hard to imagine yourself in someone else's shoes, because it's not only the life situation you need to comprehend. It's everything. Life story, relationships, emotional skills, traumas and everything comes to play, and sometimes people just can't see a way out. Dealing with issues and emotions can sometimes seem too overwhelming to deal with to some people even when don't gamble away their own and their family's money.

It's hard for me to say what's the worst solution for everyone, but it's a solution that you can't fix or reverse. There's only one life you get, and imho you might want to fix it.

Suicide is a great sin, it is extremely wrong. The man was addicted to gambling to the point where he finally had to choose the path of death. However, I have some questions here. Maybe the man had some family conflict, maybe there was a quarrel with his wife, a misunderstanding, otherwise the man would not have sold two cars at once and participated in gambling. However, sometimes support from the family is necessary, whether financially or mentally. Many times, people can do such things when they are mentally unbalanced, but people do not commit suicide easily. People commit suicide after finding no way out with great difficulty. One more news that makes the stigma of gambling bad even though this happens because those who do stupid things like this are someone who is not responsible for what he does and this for me is a selfish form of someone who only wants good things to go through but cannot be responsible for what he has done so he thinks that when he is no longer in this world then all affairs will be completed even though this actually adds to the burden for the closest people and his family that he left behind.

Not that I don't empathize but I actually feel more sorry for the family left behind because apart from bearing the disgrace they have (because their brother died because of suicide which started from uncontrolled gambling) they will also bear a serious mental burden because their assets are depleted by irresponsible people on the pretext of failing in gambling.

It's a shame that the man chose to take a shortcut that wasn't really a solution but instead worsened his family's situation. However, we never know the extent of his problems. It's possible that the real problem wasn't just a major loss in gambling, but rather a more serious family issue. I think it's more of a cowardice behaviour, because only a coward thinks the best way to handle a problem is to take their own life. There are people who are faced with far worst situations and they still face the situation head on and not to take their own lives. The mistake that most people who thinks suicidal is that they believe immediately they take their lives, everything would end and all the problems would go away, but any reasonable person would know that the is far from the truth, first of all no one knows what's on the other side of life, you have no idea whether you'll go face a fate that's far worse than what you planned to abandon here on earth. Secondly, they have no idea the pains and responsibilities they'll be leaving for their loved ones.

Human beings can only take so much psychological wounds until their mind breaks. Would you call a soldier with PTSD who takes his own life a coward? No. In fact, the amount of courage it takes to do something like that is immense. And that only goes to show how extreme the pain is, with which the person is living with.

Animals also kill themselves if they are stressed enough, did you know that? It is not something which is only done by human beings. Psychological/emotional pain is being underestimated and laughed down upon in our society. Maybe if we put more attention towards the etiology of this problem, we would see lower suicide rates...

Death is never and should never be the final decision one should make over any situation. Death doesn't solve problems; it creates more for those that are left behind. Even if it's debt, their family who are alive will be left to pay it after burying their dead one. It's better to stay alive and wear the shame as clothes and use it to learn. Sometimes people tend to jump in deep waters instead of first stepping in with a foot, to some extent I blame his employers since they should have system in place that doesn't allow money from sakes stays with the cashiers, there should be centres account that all purchases and other payments get into, instead leaving it with an individual, there is high chances that the dealer shop that is working is going to lose those two cars that were sold under the now dead employee.

Once again, the saying don't gamble with what you cannot afford to lose. Gambling is not some kind of get rich quick scheme or some money doubling scandal. If you don't try to play smart you will end up losing money and at the end make wrong decisions. I'm sorry for his loss, but it's not the first time I'm hearing about gamblers taking decisions to end their life's just because they lost a lot of money.. as a gambler you should be able to make good decisions for the betterment of yourself and that of your loved ones. Making wrong decisions doesn't only put you at risk, big also the life of those close to you. The kind of risk involved in gambling is not something we should blindly put huge amount of money into, it best to play responsibly..

Taking your life no matter what the situation might be is actually a cowardice decision to make as a person. The best solution is living and making a change, what people that get into these situations don't know is that they can actually fix things and make amends with time even though it might not really be easy.
