I lost a potentially huge payout today because Galatasaray couldn't win against a team that I'm getting to know for the first time. I think its becoming a pattern and its something to look out for. Last week, PSV drew at home too in their season opening fixture. Same thing happened with Galatasaray only that Gala required a red card to be able to get the bare minimum of 1-point from that game yesterday. They'd have to do much more if they want to compete for the title this season. Personally, I'd like to see Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, and Trabzonspor give Galatasaray a run for their money this season.

Maybe winning the title 3 times consecutively got their heads and thought there's nothing there to prepare for. Well I don't think the manager is the issue here, he won the league 3 times already and this setback is not a reason enough to get the coach sacked, he's been performing well all these times and it's just the start the season, this is very normal even though having a good start is the best way to challenge for the title.

Maybe Dursun Özbek is to be blamed in all these but it seems his strategy has always worked for them that's why he still doesn't push for transfers. Transfers are very necessary to strengthen the squad even if the team has been dominating they still need fresh legs. I believe they will take transfers seriously now after this result.

Galatasaray almost started their title defense with a loss if not that they were able to equalise before full time, I was following up the game to check the scores up untill the 85th minutes that was when I left my phone and concentrated on other things, I woke up this morning to check on the game because I had already given up hope on Gala, luckily for them Osimhen was up again to the rescue. Personally, I feel it's because of the red card, if not for that red card, probably Galatasaray would have lost that game 2 - 1, the equaliser came late on in the game and they were not able to withstand the pressure that came forth coupled with the fact of being a man down. The new comers gave the champions a hard time, maybe they will sit up in their next match.

Newly promoted sides in a league are usually hot headed at the beginning. Corum FK were incredible, their first goal was a good one, the second was just gifted to them by the defender I think Sanchez.
Luckily for Galatasaray they still have their very hot striker Victor Osimhen who helped them salvage a point from the game with his brace…, those were very brilliant goals.
If Galatasaray eventually sells him, it’s going to be a huge blow to their team.

I don’t agree with as well, when a team is playing poorly the manager will always be blame when his team puts up a horrible performance, come to think of it Galatasaray didn’t loose much player in this transfer window, the same players that he used to win the Turkish League is still the same players he is using now, change is very important when a team isn’t performing well, the club is going to try and get some players into the club, I don’t know how the club prepares to get some new players into the club, but whichever way I think it works for them and it’s their strategy, watching other club rivals making new signings and you’re observing to make a better squad assembling.

But it seems Galatasaray was unlucky as they failed to capitalize on their many scoring opportunities to secure a victory. We can see that Galatasaray completely dominated the first half with numerous big chances. And in the second half they also had more big chances. So I personally think that Galatasaray still hasn’t been able to adjust their tactics effectively to break through Corum’s defense in this match. And I think they’ll evaluate their tactics even more thoroughly thanks to this match. On the other hand Victor Osimhen emerged as one of the heroes of Galatasaray’s victory in this match by scoring two crucial goals for his team so as not to lose point. And he fully deserved the top rating in this match and was named Man of the Match. Next Galatasaray will face Erzurumspor who might also pull off a surprise in this upcoming match.
