From Galatasaray's perspective, this game might just trigger the start of transfers. They should easily win against Çorumspor, but they're currently trailing at home. Furthermore, their opponent was reduced to ten men after receiving a red card in the 70th minute. It would be a huge surprise if Galatasaray starts the season with a loss. This match could be one of the rare instances in Turkey where a championship contender loses to a newly promoted team.

We barely got a 2-2 draw from this game man... I really wish we lost this game honestly.    In this way it'd be easier for our chairman to feel the pressure over himself more.

But still I've heard that our transfer attempts have gained a lot of speed. Fabrizio Romano says that at least.    I really hate this. We always leave our summer transfers for the part after mid August.

Galatasaray almost started their title defense with a loss if not that they were able to equalise before full time, I was following up the game to check the scores up untill the 85th minutes that was when I left my phone and concentrated on other things, I woke up this morning to check on the game because I had already given up hope on Gala, luckily for them Osimhen was up again to the rescue. Personally, I feel it's because of the red card, if not for that red card, probably Galatasaray would have lost that game 2 - 1, the equaliser came late on in the game and they were not able to withstand the pressure that came forth coupled with the fact of being a man down. The new comers gave the champions a hard time, maybe they will sit up in their next match.

IMO, draw or lose is still a loss for Galatasaray in this match, because they possess many advantages, such as:

- Differences in squad composition
- Facing a newly promoted team
- Playing at home

All the advantages are on their side, a draw is not a fair price for all those advantages, right?

While this result alone can't be used to judge Galatasaray as having a poor season, if they continue to make similar results, it's entirely possible that their league dominance could come to an end this season.

This is just the first game of the league season, we cannot judge them from this first game, it was a draw event both teams tried, but Galatasaray is the league champion, and they have the same problem from last season, which is the defense. Scoring and allowing opponents to score back doesn't produce good results.

Like Galatasaray, another favorite team in the league, Trabzonspor, also failed to start the season with the expected win. I hope Fenerbahçe will not be able to start the first match with a win. But when Salah joins Trabzonspor and Lukaku joins Fenerbahçe, these teams will probably be favorites to win every match.

I still have expectations for Galatasaray, but I don't want to rate them too high this season, they will suffer badly this season due to their defensive problems. The summer transfer window is over, now they will have to look to the winter transfer window to solve that problem. Maybe Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe will not sit still during this time.

I can't even say they played an impressive game. 13 shots but only 0.79 xG. It was even near 2.00 for Kasımpaşa. It looks like Fatih Tekke's team isn't ready for the season yet. But I still expect a good fight by them for top positions.

The match between Konyaspor and ÇAYKUR Rizespor was quite a close contest. Just as the game was about to end scoreless, a last-minute penalty kick gave Rizespor a 1-0 away victory. Both teams put up a good fight, but it was, of course, a disappointing outcome for Konyaspor. With that last-minute penalty goal, they left the match empty-handed. Rizespor was more determined than Konyaspor, and I’d say they earned the three points they deserved.

I can't say we are ineffective now though. But we lost momentum for just a little time period and Gençlerbirliği scored right away. I still don't doubt my team to win tonight. We shouldn't start the same as Galatasaray.

Defending champion Galatasaray barely managed to get a draw. They couldn't beat newly promoted Çorum FK, even though Çorum was down to 10 men. Trabzonspor made some major signings this season but they started the season with a draw too. They couldn't beat the mediocre Kasımpaşa team.
Fenerbahçe is playing now and they're also trailing. The league has definitely gotten off to a very interesting start. If Beşiktaş win tomorrow, it will be a huge morale boost.

The season is very long, losses from the first week can be made up for. But we've seen that the big teams aren't quite ready yet. I don't expect huge point gaps this season, the race will be much closer.

Fenerbahçe disappointed fans who had high hopes that they will win Gençlerbirliği but they lost instead and couldn't even earn a point. This is a very bad start considering the fact that they signed enough players that should have helped them secure a win in this first match of the season. I hope they won't repeat what they did last season. The only reason why they don't need to panic is because Galatasaray played draw otherwise they would have been 3 points behind but they don't need to worry since the teams that won their matches won't stay ahead of them for long.

Gençlerbirliği really displayed an extraordinary strength today because I never imagined that they can make a comeback after Fenerbahçe scored first goal. Fenerbahçe must not repeat this mistake in their next match if they want to be among the title contenders.

Gençlerbirliği's performance at home deserves credit. They played their best against Fenerbahçe and deservedly won the three points. Fenerbahçe, on the other hand, had to return to Istanbul without any points.

It's unfortunate that Fenerbahçe couldn't take advantage of the lead they took in the 13th minute of play when Talisca scored their first goal of the season. Fenerbahçe knowing that Trabzonspor and Galatasaray already played draw in their respective matches should have made sure they take early season advantage but the match became difficult for them in the second half and Gençlerbirliği used home advantage on them and won.
This season looks like what will be tough on big teams, though I don't know if Besiktas will win Eyüpspor tomorrow, maybe they will be the only big club to win their match this week.

The point is that having a high profile players or signing doesn't automatically makes a squad stronger, last three seasons you saw what happened to Real Madrid with their high profile players they failed to win any trophy for three consecutive seasons now. I think what is needed now is for them to blend and work together as a team if not they will end up not winning anything.

Vlahovic has been at Juventus for five seasons, where he has never really left his mark. He was a player of ups and downs, certainly not a player who wrote the history of Juve, and i believe he went to Besiktas in search of personal redemption and to try to relaunch himself.
Trossard, a completely different story, because he had a truly impressive season at Arsenal, always helping out in all competitions.

After Galatasaray failed to win I thought others will take advantage and win their match but they all failed. It was unexpected and I am sure Galatasaray would have been worried at first but luckily they now have nothing to worry about. It's surprising how all these teams are  having a bad start despite all the preparations done. Galatasaray and Fenerbahce lost was not expected but it's just the beginning, I expect them to learn from their mistakes. Fenerbahce supposed to have taken advantage of yesterday games lost but they failed, now let's see how Besiktas react to all this and how they will perform.

He played sometimes good sometimes not in Juventus and i think he could have done a lot better. I think in Besiktas he will be really good because the league is much weaker. Besiktas is a good club for him and i think he can improve a lot. Also he got the biggest contract in turkish league so he needs to live up to that. Trossard and Vlahovic surely be a good tandem and between them we will see lots of good things.

The Turkish league has not had a good start for the big teams. Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Trabzonspor all failed to secure a win. Despite Fernabache suffering a defeat, I think the most shocking result was the Galatasaray draw with Çorum yesterday. It was quite unexpected because Gala was playing at home against a newly promoted side, and most fans expected Gala to have an easy win. Tomorrow, all eyes will be on Besiktas, and I hope they can get off to a good start.

Fenerbahçe started the league with a defeat, but the main talking point after the match is that they were denied two clear penalties.

Okay guys, let's change the subject. Tomorrow, the Turkish Super League will kick off with the match between Galatasaray and Çorumspor. Çorumspor, a newly promoted team this year, will be competing against last year's champions. Neither team is fully ready yet, but I think Galatasaray will definitely get a win. There won't be a surprise result in this match because Galatasaray won't allow it. Çorumspor will just be enjoying the game, but I think they should have already accepted defeat.

Galatasaray has a lot to prove to their fans, because since they have chosen to make such a poor transfer market, they must show them that they still have a team ready to compete and they will absolutely have to win if they don't want to start from behind against a Fenerbahce who seem more determined than ever to bring home the victory.
