Even it is very surprising at this stage that the last season's champion and runner-up teams played badly in the first match of this season because as far as I've seen Galatasaray drew 2-2 with the Corum team and Victor Osimhen scored two goals alone in that match, while Fenerbahce lost their first match but it seems that this team is much more focused on the UEFA Champions League play-off matches.
According to the latest reports, it seems that Al Hilal have offered 130 million euros and are willing to go up to 150 million to secure Victor Osimhen. Obviously, for football in general, it would be an incredible waste to see someone like Osimhen playing in a lower level league in Saudi Arabia, but in an era where money counts for more than trophies, I’d say it’s not impossible.

After Fenerbahçe made an awful start in the Turkish ligue, I was thinking that they will compensate their fans today by winning Lyon in the Champions League playoffs but instead they struggled a 1:1 full-time result. I still don't understand why Fenerbahçe is finding it difficult to win their matches when they signed new players in the team. I can't believe that they have players like Romelu Lukaku, N'Golo Kanté, and Marco Asensio but it just appear as if they don't have quality players in the team who will help them to win their matches. This is not what is expected of Fenerbahçe, the coach needs to charge this boys to do better otherwise they will also end this season without a trophy despite all the signings they made.

The league kicks off today.
The opening match will be between Galatasaray and Çorum FK. Since they haven’t made any transfers except for one player, I think everyone is curious to see how Galatasaray will perform tonight.
As far as I’m concerned, both Galatasaray and Çorum FK could score today. Given their lack of transfers, it doesn’t seem too unlikely that Galatasaray might concede a goal.
I don't know this team called Corum Fk and they are not among the top teams in the Super Lig but I was surprised how they almost won the league Champions Galatasaray even with there red card. It wasn't an easy game for Galatasaray if not that Victor Osimhen scored a late goal it would have been a 2-1 lose for them. Though this is just the opening game sometimes football will be hard on you while sometimes too easy to win, i still believe Galatasaray will still be Champions again.

Galatasaray management—which has made only one signing so far—cannot sell Osimhen, even if Al-Hilal were to offer 250 million euros instead of 150 million. The fans would react furiously. Right now, Osimhen is the most important player keeping the team afloat and contributing to its performance. He is responsible for 60% of the team's current strength. The management has not even managed to sign a backup player for him yet. If Osimhen leaves, Galatasaray will not be able to succeed in either the Champions League or the Turkish League this season.

It's a very small city with a population of around half a million. This is the first time in their history they've made it to the Super League. So last year was a huge success for them. We were eagerly waiting to see how they'd do this year, and they got off to a good start. If they had a little more experience, they would have beaten Galatasaray. I think a draw is a pretty good result, they probably didn't even imagine that before the game. This year, the big four made some major signings and spent a lot of money, but judging by their results in the first week, all of them except Beşiktaş were a huge disappointment. There are still 33 weeks to be played in the league, so it's too early to draw any definitive conclusions, but losing points in the very first week must have been frustrating for them.

Give me a break. The 2-2 draw achieved by the novice in Turkish Super League against the top team might be viewed not as the feather in Corum's cap, but rather as the incomplete work of Galatasaray players who didn't kick into high gear in this match. Had it been played the month later, Galatasaray would have defeated them utterly. That said, my eyes caught a few promising Corum players; let's see how they play this season.

I wasn't particularly fond of the football we played, but it feels great to end the week with a wineven if the scoreline was only 1-0. Since taking charge, Italiano has done two things exceptionally well.
First, players who were expected to leave the team due to their performances last season have started making valuable contributions. Djaló is one of the best examples of this.
Second, our team defense has been excellent. Moreover, we have played five competitive matches so far and haven't conceded a single goal.
A farewell ceremony was held for Necip Uysal before yesterday's match. A product of our youth academy, Necip never wore the jersey of any team other than Beşiktaş and concluded his career wearing the Beşiktaş kit. I hope a testimonial match is organized for Necip in the future.
I am very pleased to have started the league with three points in a week where Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Trabzonspor all dropped points.
I find that Italiano is a good coach anyway. He has always shown that he knows what he can do on the bench and on whatever bench he sits on, both with Fiorentina and Bologna, and you will see that he will do the same thing with Besiktas too. He is a coach who knows how to take the team and give it a game. We'll see how it goes in Türkiye.

In the beginning of league like this Besiktas are always keen in making sure all point gets in their favour, so they're one of the teams with three points and a goal. Although even when they were leading, Eyupspor was also reinforcing on Besiktas to equalise but I guess David Costa second card got them out of control because that was when Besiktas began to regulate the game. Another interesting club that played before this Besiktas match day was Trabzonspor because of Mohammed Salah they signed this season but unfortunately they couldn't get hold of the three points because of their 1:1 draw but definitely Salah will get his first score from next match.
I think that Trabzonspor will be carried away by the purchase of the new element. Momo Salah can be that player who, in addition to making a difference individually, can make the team feel up to him, consequently creating a game that can really make things difficult for other rivals.

The match between Samsunspor and Göztepe was breathtaking; it was hard to believe this was a season opener. Although the match ended in a 3-3 draw, a fantastic game was played regardless of the score.
Either team could have secured the win. Samsunspor could have started the league with three points had they converted their second penalty; however, Mouandilmadji failed to score, striking the crossbar instead.
Göztepe created a promising chance through Efkan in the final minute, but his poor finishing meant the match ended in a 3-3 draw.
It was a decidedly exciting and hard-fought match, you can see that the teams felt very stimulated from the start of the competition and felt the need to demonstrate the various changes made for the team, a match that gave a lot to see with a triumph of 6 goals.

Looking at the standings after the first week, I dont think this is the result anyone expected. The final match of the first week is being played right now, and the standings are really interesting. I think well see a more reasonable standings picture in a few weeks.
Of the four teams with the highest expectations going into the first week, only Beşiktaş managed to get what they wanted. You cant blame the first match, but I think the other teams could have gotten off to a better start.
I'm curious to see which team will be this season's dark horse. Maybe in 10 weeks, there'll be a surprise team in the top 4? Does anyone have a prediction on this?
The Turkish championship made itself felt more this year, since Besiktas made some important signings and deserved the result of the last match. Fenerbahce completely revolutionized their team, Galatasaray kept their squad without making any major changes, and Trabzonspor, with the purchase of Salah, certainly increased the level of pressure on the team, which could be enough motivation for the team to become mangy for the others.

I think Corum Fk came from another division league that's below the Super league but fortunately qualified to play on the super league, yes I was surprised with their performance against Galatasaray but in other words that's what a club in their position usually do when they're promoted to a higher league, however even when Galatasaray was breaking down for Corum Fk Victor Osimehn still make sure his team doesn't loss their first match to Corum Fk by scoring two goals, this season a lot of draws are actually playing on the teams first match because there has been only few winnings.

The Turkish league is now getting interest and attention from all over the world. Since they bought Osimhen from Napoli, to Galatasaray, they are now showing that they can attract big players to the league. And with the recent acquisition of Mohammed Salah to the league, it's actually getting more competitive and it's become attractive to watch. By the start of the season, I am pretty sure so many fans will be paying attention to the league, and would also watch them regularly, especially now that some of the teams are in the champions league. It's will be hard to ignore what they are actually doing in that league.

Today's match between Samsunspor and Göztepe was one of the most enjoyable I've watched recently. Both teams created plenty of chances. Both teams scored 3 goals, and the match ended in a draw. Samsunspor wanted to get 3 points at home, but they only managed a draw in the 90th minute. Göztepe is doing very well this year, just like last year. Samsunspor also put on a good performance. And so, the first week of matches has concluded.
It was a truly exciting match for an early season match, we certainly didn't expect such an exciting match with 3 goals on each side, which made the 90 minutes really fun for all the spectators present, Samsunspor showed proof of wanting to start in the best possible way..

The results of the two matches in the first round in particular surprised me the most, one was the Galatasaray match and the other was the Fenerbahçe match. I was expecting to win both matches, but the top two teams from last season lost points against teams I didn't even know last season. I was expecting Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe to win in these two matches, but they disappointed me. Most of the results of the matches in the first week of the season were unexpected, maybe this series of unexpected results will continue for a few more weeks.

Fenerbahçe management has an unfathomable transfer policy. What is the logic behind selling a player like Sidiki Sherif—who could potentially become the next Lukaku—for 25 million euros? Musaba was sent to Norwich City on loan. (It’s a good thing we didn’t sell Musaba.)
Omar Fayed, whom we once signed with high hopes, has transferred permanently to Frosinone for 500,000 euros. Now it is the turn of Mimovic, Livakovic, and Becao; everyone expects them to leave as well.
The player causing trouble right now is Diego Carlos; however, I believe he, too, will transfer permanently to another club within a few days.

The logic behind selling Sidiki Sherif is basically this: Fenerbahçe need to get foreign players out of the squad and they want to do it while taking as little damage as possible and making some money in the process. That's why they're selling some of their promising players. Because of the unplanned transfers made in the past, almost all of the surplus players refuse to leave the club until they receive all the money they're owed. They all want to collect everything they're entitled to before leaving the club. The previous administrations are responsible for these unplanned transfers.

But now that they’ve got Osimhen into the Galatasaray the league will be more interesting than before, because so many people will paying attention to the league’s. Osimhen has completed reach one year out of the four years contract. Which I know that he will make this season difference form last season, base on the attention that a lots will be paying in the league, I’m expecting the league to be more competitive than last season he was signed into Galatasaray.

You didn't say anything new. These are already discussed a lot. It's will be hard to ignore what they are actually doing in that league. This is not about old Osimhen or new Salah transfer, Turkish league always attract superstars and we always watch the biggest names playing here. It's not new, it's not about last 2-3 years. We're used to watching the big stars. What we're not used to is the money being spent. In the past, transfer records were broken with €5-10 million, now teams don't hesitate to spend over €100 million in a single transfer window. When you ask where this money comes from or what has changed, you don't get an answer. Because the conversation goes in different directions. Why the league like Turkish has no been popular all this while, is because there’s no much big teams in the league that’s why it’s not that popular.
And another Nigerian spammer. The league wasn't founded yesterday. A player from your country didn't change a thing. Your popularity assumption is way off from reality. So stop polluting our league thread.
