Even it is very surprising at this stage that the last season's champion and runner-up teams played badly in the first match of this season because as far as I've seen Galatasaray drew 2-2 with the Corum team and Victor Osimhen scored two goals alone in that match, while Fenerbahce lost their first match but it seems that this team is much more focused on the UEFA Champions League play-off matches.

According to the latest reports, it seems that Al Hilal have offered 130 million euros and are willing to go up to 150 million to secure Victor Osimhen. Obviously, for football in general, it would be an incredible waste to see someone like Osimhen playing in a lower level league in Saudi Arabia, but in an era where money counts for more than trophies, I’d say it’s not impossible.

I’ve only seen this news from you. None of the Turkish commentators or broadcasters have reported anything like this, so I don’t think such a situation actually exists.
If there really was such an offer, Galatasaray would have no problem selling him for that kind of money. However, Galatasaray have not received any offers at that level.

They're the league's new team. It's a very small city with a population of around half a million. This is the first time in their history they've made it to the Super League. So last year was a huge success for them. We were eagerly waiting to see how they'd do this year, and they got off to a good start. If they had a little more experience, they would have beaten Galatasaray. I think a draw is a pretty good result, they probably didn't even imagine that before the game.

This year, the big four made some major signings and spent a lot of money, but judging by their results in the first week, all of them except Beşiktaş were a huge disappointment. There are still 33 weeks to be played in the league, so it's too early to draw any definitive conclusions, but losing points in the very first week must have been frustrating for them.

It almost seems like Galatasaray is trying to sabotage itself, because in any case they should win matches like this without mincing words. Instead, the fact of not bringing home the victory almost makes it seem like the team itself wants some changes. Or at least, this is what seems to be perceived in the environment.

The figures no longer impress me, because since the Saudi league started to be interested in European players, the figures have started to reach crazy values. However, i think that young players with enormous potential like Osimhen should not leave the five European leagues, because if you want your palmarès to have some value, you have to prove it here.

Galatasaray is about to finish the signing of Aleksey Batrakov. He is expected to be in İstanbul at noon. Finally there is a transfer move by this team!

For once I thought we were still going to wait for the end of August.  Sad  Still we are too late for transfers though as the season has already started officially.

I really don't know why we have a this complacent president. Maybe we've won the league 4 times in a row but if we don't make the necessary transfers this season would be really difficult for us.

but Galatasaray have enough players in their squad, the club might have evaluated their options and financial situation and also to make sure they balance the book, before making some transfer decisions. That counts be why we are not seeing much transfer activities within the club. The club haven’t lost most of their big name players so there might be no need for more additions, because it will be a poor financial decision from the club to keep bringing in players when the ones available can still get the job done. As it stands I still see Galatasaray as the club with the most big names players in the league.

Galatasaray announced the signing of Aleksei Batrakov.

https://x.com/GalatasaraySK/status/2090378498284085589

We don’t usually see many Russian players in the Super League, and not many come from that league, but Batrakov seems to be one of the players with potential. His performance at his former club, Lokomotiv Moscow, was quite impressive. He has said that the Champions League is one of his biggest motivations.

So Galatasaray has finally made a good signing. They still have a lot of gaps to fill, but it’s good to see they’re starting somewhere.

Because Russian teams have been banned from the Champions League by UEFA, the players' dream of playing in the competition is thwarted. Perhaps this is why Galatasaray was able to acquire this 21-year-old rising star. Batrakov scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists for Lokomotiv Moscow last year. He also meets the criteria for young players under 23 in the Turkish Super League. Galatasaray deserves congratulations for signing such a high-quality player. In a few years, they could sell him to a major European team for a very high price. Galatasaray now needs to accelerate its other transfers.

I have always viewed such transfers with skepticism. The reason is this: if the player is truly that good, why didn't European teams sign him?
If he is both young and boasts good statistics, Europe's leading clubs should have been lining up for him by now.
I believe the Galatasaray management made this transfer simply because they felt compelled to do so.

The transfer window in Turkey continues until September. They still have time, and we hear that Galatasaray is in talks with some players. Some even believe they are deliberately waiting for the European transfer market to close. Like the Osimhen transfer, they could buy or loan out players at reasonable prices after the European market closes. In my opinion, this team, which performed very well in the Champions League last year, should have completed its transfers by now. Because the deficiencies aren't everywhere. They have problems in some areas, but with transfers to address those issues, they can win the championship again this year with this squad.

According to the latest reports, it seems that Al Hilal have offered 130 million euros and are willing to go up to 150 million to secure Victor Osimhen. Obviously, for football in general, it would be an incredible waste to see someone like Osimhen playing in a lower level league in Saudi Arabia, but in an era where money counts for more than trophies, I'd say it's not impossible.

I think Osimhen's career has been weakened in Turkey. Barcelona needs a striker these days. Who would be surprised if Barcelona announced Osimhen's transfer today? Because the Nigerian has the physique and speed to play as a lone striker for any team in the world, including Barcelona and Real Madrid. He also has excellent finishing skills. So we can say Galatasaray has a world-class star. However, I think the Nigerian could now transfer to a team in Spain or England. Staying in Turkey for another year doesn't leave a positive image for his career.

There is nothing concrete at the moment, but if an offer for Osimhen came from Barcelona, he would accept it without hesitation.
Barcelona has a system that is running like clockwork, and Osimhen would be even more effective within that setup. He could even contend for the Champions League top scorer title.
Osimhen's name is linked to both Arsenal and Barcelona from time to time. Barcelona currently lacks a striker. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Barcelona signed Osimhen.

He is responsible for 60% of the team's current strength.
The management has not even managed to sign a backup player for him yet.
If Osimhen leaves, Galatasaray will not be able to succeed in either the Champions League or the Turkish League this season.

Galatasaray would be wrong to sell their champion, then it would be difficult to sign another strong attacker like Osimhem. But of course when faced with a good amount it's difficult to say no, you know. Galatasaray can hardly win the Champions League even with Osimhen in the team. The Turkish championship yes but they have to keep Osimhen to win.

After Fenerbahçe made an awful start in the Turkish ligue, I was thinking that they will compensate their fans today by winning Lyon in the Champions League playoffs but instead they struggled a 1:1 full-time result. I still don't understand why Fenerbahçe is finding it difficult to win their matches when they signed new players in the team. I can't believe that they have players like Romelu Lukaku, N'Golo Kanté, and Marco Asensio but it just appear as if they don't have quality players in the team who will help them to win their matches. This is not what is expected of Fenerbahçe, the coach needs to charge this boys to do better otherwise they will also end this season without a trophy despite all the signings they made.

So, i wouldn't talk so much about demerits on Fenerbahce's part, but more about merits on the part of both teams, because in any case Lyon is a team that is trying to get back on its feet and manage to get through the group stage, which Fenerbahce is also doing. So the result is correct for two teams that are equal.

Why the league like Turkish has no been popular all this while, is because there’s no much big teams in the league that’s why it’s not that popular. But now that they’ve got Osimhen into the Galatasaray the league will be more interesting than before, because so many people will paying attention to the league’s. Osimhen has completed reach one year out of the four years contract.

Which I know that he will make this season difference form last season, base on the attention that a lots will be paying in the league, I’m expecting the league to be more competitive than last season he was signed into Galatasaray.

The Turkish league is not as small as you think. It’s just that they don’t use to go far playing in the European competitions, which is why people don’t rate the league enough. Many players have been playing there, and it is not only because of Osimehn that makes the league more popular. It’s just that your fans across the world will watch you play in any team that you join. Galatasaray does not make enough signings during the transfer window. I don’t think they are ready for this season.

However, we have been hearing some rumors that Galatasaray is ready to negotiate with any club that is interested in signing Osimehn this summer. There are many teams from England that want to sign him. Maybe that’s just a rumor that will never happen. Osimehn scored a brace in their first game, let’s see how many goals he will score this season.

Galatasaray management—which has made only one signing so far—cannot sell Osimhen, even if Al-Hilal were to offer 250 million euros instead of 150 million. The fans would react furiously. Right now, Osimhen is the most important player keeping the team afloat and contributing to its performance.
He is responsible for 60% of the team's current strength.
The management has not even managed to sign a backup player for him yet.
If Osimhen leaves, Galatasaray will not be able to succeed in either the Champions League or the Turkish League this season.

Osimhen is a great and special player but in any case Galatasaray will struggle in the Champions League with this defense. selling him could allow them to build a more balanced squad.
imo if he wants to stay, he should stay. if he wants to leave, he should leave....

Championship doesn't hinge solely on Osimhen, but everyone acknowledges that he is a tremendous asset to the team.
If a compelling offer comes his way, he will leave the club. By "compelling," I don't necessarily mean just the financial aspect; I mean an offer from top-tier clubs like Arsenal or Barcelona.

Currently, neither Arsenal nor Barcelona has a quality striker. If an offer arrives from either of these clubs, Galatasaray would have no choice but to sell Osimhen.
Ultimately, Osimhen is a professional footballer. Players make such choices for various reasons—sometimes for the money, and other times for the opportunity to play for a powerhouse team.

it is a undeniable fact that there is a global shortage of center forwards. Barcelona didn't send Lewandowski to press the opponent's defense for the entirety of last season just so he could play a bit longer. Kane is 33 but he can easily play at Bayern for two more years. Real Madrid forced Mbappe into the number 9 role with great effort. Arsenal paid 67 million euros for Gyökeres out of sheer lack of strikers. Three years ago, Manchester United paid 80 million for Hojlund and Napoli got him for 44 million this year. this list goes on and on.
biggest reason Osimhen is at Galatasaray right now is his salary. Once he feels financially satisfied, that's when he'll move back to Europe.

I don't know this team called Corum Fk and they are not among the top teams in the Super Lig but I was surprised how they almost won the league Champions Galatasaray even with there red card. It wasn't an easy game for Galatasaray if not that Victor Osimhen scored a late goal it would have been a 2-1 lose for them. Though this is just the opening game sometimes football will be hard on you while sometimes too easy to win, i still believe Galatasaray will still be Champions again.

Galatasaray struggled a lot against this team, which is not a good sign, especially at the beginning of the championship, where a team like Galatasaray should certainly prove themselves better. Especially after such a small transfer market, he should demonstrate to his fans that the team is ready. But with this result, it's difficult.

There has actually been a long-standing shortage of good finishing strikers. This is partly due to the changing nature of football, because in the past, defending was easier and strikers created many more chances. I can hardly remember the last time a player scored a lob goal. We used to see many beautiful goals. I could name many number 9s from the past, but nowadays there's a huge deficiency in that area. Galatasaray is very lucky in this respect because Osimhen is a true number 9. He's one of the players I'd like to see at Fenerbahçe. Of course, not just Fenerbahçe, many teams around the world would want a striker like him.
