Turkish Super League 2026/27 Season

We are so comfortable against Erzurumspor man. The weather conditions are great, our competitor hasn't built a competitive squad... These all are helping us get an easy win right now.

We really needed this to improve our morale and focus. Because our opening week effort was really not satisfying. Hopefully we don't leave our remaining transfers to the last day of the window.

Otherwise we'll probably need to overspend again like last year!

Erzurumspor is not a great team and it’s not the first time Galatasaray is winning with a big margin. I expected more but Galatasaray weren’t as strong as it looks on the scoreboard, Erzurumspor were just unlucky as they were the lesser team and lacked quality.
Victor Osimhen is just starting strong this season as expected, another masterpiece from him, two goals and an assist making it four goals in two games.

Galatasaray managed to win 4-0 against Erzurumspor. Osimhen was the star of the match, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist. He continues to show that he is Galatasaray's biggest goal threat. I would love for Arsenal or Barcelona to sign him, because both teams need a good striker, and Osimhen is the kind of striker who can fulfill that need. He is an extraordinary player for Galatasaray.

I think Erzurumspor is the weakest team in the league. They finished first in the 1. League last season and were promoted to the Super League, but they're in worse shape than even the other promoted teams. The transfers they made weren't up to Super League standards. Aside from 6-7 players, the rest are still at the 1. League level. That's why I think they'll be relegated again.

They lost their first match 3-0 to Amed SK and now they've lost 4-0 to Galatasaray. At this rate, they'll end up as a team defined by goal differential. It looks like other teams will play to score more goals against them to improve their own goal differential.
IMHO Erzurum doesn't deserve to be in the Super League as a city anyway. That's why no one will be sad to see them get relegated again besides their a few fans.

"managed" is a term that would more suited or appropriate if it was a narrow win of like 0-1, 1-2, etc. Those kind of closely contested match not 0-4 winning margins like Galatasaray did today. I do like him at Galatasaray though because he makes me keep a close eye on the Turkish league. I don't know if I would continue to see more of the games if he leaves. I know that Salah is still there (whom I'm a fan of) but he's way past his prime. You got it wrong with Arsenal though. They have Gyökeres and Havertz. Barcelona is the team that needs a striker because Lewandowski left for MLS and Ferran Torres signed with PSG just a few days ago.

Unfortunately, Erzurumspor are not looking good. Their squad quality and their style of play are both very poor. They tried to play out from the back against Galatasaray, which is probably the one team they shouldn't be trying that against, and they were punished with a goal.
Hopefully Erzurumspor can turn things around, otherwise we may not see them in the league next season.

He scored something I will call a lucky goal though, as the goalkeeper failed to block the ball. Victor Osimhen will have to work harder than he did last season, yeah he has started smart and beautiful, but he will have to be consistent because goal scorers like Mason Greenwood, Mo Salah, and Lukaku Romelu are all in the same league and they will also do everything to make sure that they also try to win the competition and the high goal scorer awards. I also do not know why Galatasaray are not signing additional players within the transfer window maybe the think that these players can keep up with the pressure a d whatever coming.

Galatasaray won 4-0 today, which is great, but I'm still not hopeful about this team. Just looking at the squad makes me feel discouraged. Maybe things will change if 2-3 transfers are announced this week. But that depends on the transfers. The only positive thing right now is Yunus Akgün's good start to the season, but that's only for now. I won't say anything about Osimhen because he's always good. The rest of the team is mediocre.

Galatasaray managed to get through the away match against Erzurum at the perfect time, securing all three points and scoring four goals in the process.
Osimhen scored twice, though the goalkeeper, Orbanic, practically gifted him the first goal.
For his second goal, he simply tapped the ball into an empty net.
I’d like to touch upon the referee's performance; it was as if he had left his cards at home. He failed to issue cards in several situations that clearly warranted a yellow card.
That is exactly what led me to comment that he must have left his cards at home.
As for Erzurumspor, they really need to sign a top-quality goalkeeper and a top-quality striker.
Erzurum's goalkeeper was absolutely terrible today.

The easiest match for us has been left behind... Erzurumspor are really far from being competitive in this league. I won't be surprised to see them relegating back to the 2nd league.

Today I will just hope for Fenerbahçe to lose points against Konyaspor.    I know they are playing at home. But they have a rematch waiting for them against Lyon only in 4 days.

We could see another rotation by İsmail Kartal so let's find out.

Barış Alper doesn't even play well in ten games throughout the season. His performance is generally mediocre. I heard that some teams from Saudi Arabia made high offers for him. Galatasaray should perhaps sell him and bring in Leao. Leao is a much better player than Barış Alper and could make Galatasaray's wings more dynamic. These players also reduce Osimhen's effectiveness. I'm sure that if the Nigerian striker were at Arsenal or another team right now, he would easily score dozens of goals. He plays fighting for Galatasaray all by himself.

I do not think İsmail Kartal will rotate the squad in this match with the Lyon game in mind. If he were to do so and Fenerbahçe dropped points, İsmail Kartal—who already has very little credit with the fans—would face calls to resign.
The loss to Gençlerbirliği last week and the 1-1 draw against Lyon drew significant criticism.
Fenerbahçe absolutely must defeat Konyaspor today. Now is not the time for rotation.

I don't think İsmail Kartal will rotate the squad for this match. Even if he did, Fenerbahçe's reserve squad alone would easily defeat Konyaspor.
I expect Vedat to lead the attack tonight. Talisca will likely be rested.
Lukaku might come on in the second half.
I expect Fenerbahçe to win by a wide margin.

Galatasaray secured a comfortable victory yesterday. It looks like Erzurum is heading for relegation in just their second match of the season.
There is no chance of them staying up. If you aren't going to make any signings, what business do you have in the Süper Lig? It’s nothing more than taking up space.

Of course, this week is better than last week because the big teams in the Turkiye Super ligue are back to winning ways. Fenerbahçe is live now and they are defeating Konyaspor by a score of 4:1 and the match is nearing full-time. In today's match, Fenerbahçe was quick to score 3:1 in the first half which made them more relaxed in the second half after Mason Greenwood scored exactly 4 minutes after the break making it a brace because he also scored in the first half. This is the kind of energy we expect from Fenerbahçe because they can't have that many players in the team and struggle to win their matches.

We're still seeing problems in Fenerbahçe's defense. They've conceded a total of 4 goals in their first two matches.
Aké has a major problem dealing with aerial balls and he needs to fix this for sure. If Fenerbahçe continue in the Champions League, they could have some serious problems because of this.

This weekend that I decided not to bet on Turkish league games, both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce scored 4 goals each and won their games. Between the two teams, Galatasaray's performance was the most convincing but that doesn't mean I'll start gambling on their outcomes just yet. I'm thinking I'll hold off for the next two matchdays so teams will be fully settled into the season.Fenerbahce needs to do better if they want to compete seriously this season.

Did anyone actually bet on both games? Just curious to know the rationale given last week's disappointments.

although i think the squad is actually better, i feel like we're watching a worse Fenerbahçe than Tedesco's. i haven't liked Fener's performance in the last few matches at all. in my opinion, Galatasaray is still playing much better and Beşiktaş is starting to get better and better as well...

Osimhen have started the season with an excellent records and that is same for Mason Greenwood, I'm wondering why are they n0t in a big club because it always seems to me that they are wasting the best of ther career except a Turkish team can compete for long in the Champions League which haven't really occurred now.
