The fans will really be happy for the recent progress of arsenal by reaching the champions league final and for winning the premier league trophy and also for the fact that they are among the Europe's elite shows they have really improved under Arteta and they will be willing to compete more this coming season. However, this is a starting point for arsenal rather than the final destination for the teamz they must continue to maintain this level of performance to win major trophies. Winning at the highest level especially in the champions league is one thing they will need to work on right now. What arsenal will be fighting for will be the champions league trophy since they are yet to life the trophy for now and lifting the trophy will be a huge achievement for the team what they need now is consistency, proper fitness and preparations for the next season because the expectations will be very high now.
That's true, they really need to work on that very aspect of winning the champions league this season even though it's not an easy task. That along will speak  more about them and set them above this level. However, if they can actually achieve bringing the champions league troop home, it will enhance back their confidence and their various fans across the world will once again count and believe in them. And again, the best advise I will suggest is for them to strengthen their attack, they should emphasize more on wining matches by this they will literally be on a better chance of lifting the trophy.

I totally agree! There is no chance for Arteta not to be under pressure as of now. It's the other way around even!  Grin

Because when you get a bigger achievement the expectations from you will be higher. Not only by the board but also the fans... However we can look at this from a positive aspect also.

I mean Arsenal have finally won the PL. Now they are going to play with a champion mentality. They are likely to be deadlier than ever for their competitors.
Yes, essentially every coach faces his own unique pressures, because, fundamentally, all coaches bear a great deal of responsibility for the teams they coach. That’s why it’s certain that Arteta, as Arsenal’s coach, will also face immense pressure. After all, Arsenal is clearly a top-tier team right now, and fans’ expectations for them are undoubtedly even higher than before. This is because they’ve achieved truly extraordinary results this season. So, I believe Arsenal will certainly be expected to perform even better next season.

But even so, I don’t think Arteta needs to worry about this, because he just needs to carry out his duties as usual, and Arsenal will likely continue to perform well next season. Furthermore, Arsenal fans undoubtedly want the team to win the Champions League, since Arsenal has yet to claim the title in this competition. So, fans will certainly be hoping even more that Arsenal can win this tournament. This is indeed a daunting task for Arteta. So, yes, we’ll just have to wait and see what the upcoming season brings.

I agree that Arsenal made a big step forward this past season and finally, after 20 years, became champions of England and played in the Champions League final again after 2006.
However, it will be very difficult to repeat those results this season.
Last season was a transitional season for Manchester City and Liverpool and they were not at the highest level, which made Arsenal's path to the title easier.
Also, it must be honestly admitted that Arsenal was lucky in the Champions League draw and avoided the toughest opponents before the final, such as PSG, Bayern and Real.
I think it will be very difficult for Arsenal to repeat those results this season and that the top European clubs, such as PSG, Bayern and Real, are still a level above them, financially and organizationally.

No doubt about what you have said, but if only Arsenal can still maintain same energy and confident as of last season, anything is possible. I know those teams you just mentioned are great team and they own the champions league but football present is actually not based on names this days because even smaller teams are now pulling storm you can never imagine.

Bringing back fans from all over the world is not a problem, I think the main thing is to get the team back and bring it to its maximum splendor, everything else will come by itself and consequently.
Then if they manage to win the Champions that too is to be seen, in my opinion the focus must be on one thing at a time.

Well, that is right, I guess. The one thing at a time approach in football is incredibly ignored when club wants to be everything, they usually do not end up with anything.
Of course, Champions League and domestic form are not separate,  teams that win Europe tend to first get their domestic act together. Thus if it is decided to fix core issues, it goes hand in hand with the European goal, or not.
But I would disagree with fans coming back argument in last post. But real fans are not lost due to bad spell, casual fans are. But fanbase that mattered was not going anywhere. People do not come back because of one trophy, but other it is quality over time. If you win all the time, all else will fall into place as you said.

Arsenal put up a great fight in the Champions League last year. They reached the final and almost won the trophy. I expect the same performance from them next year. Therefore, their transfer decisions must be very careful. Arteta will try to keep the majority of the squad together. Considering that they achieved the Premier League championship this year, a dream the manager has had for years, it is essential to preserve this championship-winning squad.

A smaller team cannot pull storm in the Champions League because it's for the big clubs. Most times, it's big clubs in their various leagues that do win the title and not small teams. If you have observed this competition for long, you will see it that it's only the big names that do win it because they have the quality and pace till the end

Mikel Arteta has enough experience and potential to play under pressure because he faced many challenges in his stay at Arsenal, but his consistency and strategy allow him to become a champion of the Premier League even still. He needs to be better on offense because defensive strategy never works for a long time, but he is doing good for the Gunners.

In the Premier League, it's never been easy to stay on the same level this needs enough hard work, while the Champions League is now having great rivalries with PSG heading for a hat -trick, which is not easy but possible. Bayern Munich is also doing good few other clubs can give surprises, always on board.
Whether Arsenal will be under pressure or not certainly depends on what the coach Mikel Arteta wants for his team, sometimes this pressure could be healthy for the team in order to stir up the team to further compete better than they did the previous season,

I think Arsenal will be competing against themselves this season and the competition should be about achieving what they failed to achieve last season which is winning the Uefa champions league.

I don't think Arsenal will feel pressure, but rather they will be more motivated to keep rising and performing at their best to win the UCL trophy. So, as you said, reaching the final this season will certainly motivate them to perform even better next season.

This has been evident in the Premier League where Arsenal consistently finished runner-up three times in a row, ultimately winning the EPL trophy for the fourth time. Of course, if we say it's pressure it's impossible for Arteta to have led Arsenal this far. Arsenal under Arteta have never shown any pressure, but their performance has steadily improved each season. I hope Arsenal will be even stronger next season, especially with the UCL expected to be even more competitive.

Arteta will not be under pressure after winning the Premier League. This team have not won the Premier League title for the past 22 years, and Arteta just won that after they finished third time in a row. It was a well deserved for Arsenal to win the Premier League title, this achievement will motivate them to go for the Premier League again next season, perhaps they will win it again next season, and if they do, I would not be surprised.

Arsenal have the opportunity to win the Champions League last season, I think their main goal for next season is to win the Champions league. Arsenal was eliminated in the semifinals last two seasons, and they lost in the final last season, I think this is a sign that next season might be their turn to win the Champions League. But let’s see what happens.

I agree, his idea of the capabilities of small teams is naive and does not correspond to reality. The last time a small team won the Champions League was 23 years ago (and that was Porto by the lead of the greatest "the special one"). Since then (a whole era has passed) not a single small club has even come close to winning, everything is decided among the top clubs every season (that's why the playoffs have pissed everyone off with their repetitiveness). The gap between the top teams and everyone else is so big that no format gives the smaller teams a single chance.

I mean Arsenal have finally won the PL. Now they are going to play with a champion mentality. They are likely to be deadlier than ever for their competitors.

I doubt he will be pressured. He handled games under intense pressure and we saw that from most of his substitute  during games. Having won something worthy that buys him time, he will be calm unlike last season.

They will only be more competitive within themselves and set higher standards and levels to achieve.
Yes, they're most likely to see themselves attacking more next season than being defensive. They already have a good lesson learnt from the Champions League finals. They have solid defenders, so they can attack massively next season.

The players in the Arsenal team are performing well in this World Cup, meaning the players are in great form, so it won't be surprising if Arsenal win the league title next season and perform well in the Champions League next season like this season. If you look at PSG, this team started this season where they finished last season and they won the Champions League title and then finished the season. I didn't consider PSG as favorites for this season after winning the Champions League title last season, but they have proven that consistency in performance on the field certainly plays a great role in achieving big things. If the main players of the Arsenal team don't get injured, I believe they will do something good next season.
To be fair they were always doing quite good, not really shocking to see them doing fine here either. World cup is the biggest stage in the world, I find it even bigger than UCL or anything else, it's only once every four years and every player dreams of playing there. Not only being a good player would be enough, plenty of great players who plays for a national team that failed to go there, so you could be amazing and still not get there. So World Cup gets the best version of every player normally.
Honestly there were discussions about them being tired, and not bringing exactly as what they should be normally. Players who are super tired can't be playing at 100% or at least most of the time they do not.

This is why I think it's quite important to realize that them playing good right now is not that bad. These players played all the way until EFL and FA and league and UCL finals or there abouts, so they played 60+ games and some of them were even getting injured during the season due to amount of games they played.
