It doesn't matter if he's performance was good or weak at Manchester United, he literally do not want to play for Manchester United anymore that's why he was playing rubbish at Manchester United, even the Aston Villa he moved to before Barcelona, his performance was quite okay, and even the time he was playing with his mind for Manchester United he was quite good that he was scoring goals, but all of a sudden he became a wolf in a sheep clothing, like left with me alone I'd say he should look for another team because he will still come to spoil things the more.
He didn't want to play for Amorim, not Man U, under Carrick he'd reconsider his chances and make the right decisions, joining man u to the champions league is a target he shouldn't miss. It'll bring back his name and seal his loyalty to the club.

One thing that makes me curious about what PSG has achieved during these two UCL seasons is whether they will be able to match Madrid record of 3 consecutive wins? because what they have done is extraordinary, they have been a team that has remained solid in the two seasons competing for the UCL title and in the new year they look to be still strong because there are no major changes made to the depth of their squad, but it is true, they have to be very careful, other competing teams have strengthened their strength, which means their journey to defend the title will not be easy.

Paris Saint-Germain will most likely have no difficulty in winning the Champions League again, as Real Madrid did, they are experiencing a golden period, where they were the best team, clearly a team where they are not afraid of anyone and where they have a phenomenal attack that can win against everyone.

For every club, having young players can be really beneficial and make a lot of money for the club. But for Arsenal's current situation, I think their focus is on the right players for the team's needs. Their next target is of course to win the Premier League and Champions League trophies for the next season. They will strengthen the team by bringing in players that are truly needed, no need to waste money for now.
Arsenal are not going for players to nurture, they want a squad that will win them trophies asap, over the years and seasons they've been building, this time when Manchester City who has been their utmost rival are no more capable of stopping them, as the only club strong enough to compete, Arsenal need players that will give instant contribution and increase their chances of winning the league consecutively.

Arsenal will take their time in the transfer market, they have the funds, and will be looking for the best options.

That's what I mean, Arsenal isn't a team that will buy players who are easy to groom just for business purposes or their long-term goals. Every time the transfer window opens, they have the chance to build the team based on their needs. Developing young players might be an investment for the academy, not the actual team ready to compete for trophies.

Admittedly, PSG has proven its dominance in the Champions League after successfully defending the title for two consecutive seasons after appearing as a very solid force. They still have a chance to add to their UCL trophy collection if they can maintain their top form, but it must be emphasized that football is a very dynamic sport, so defending three consecutive titles in Europe top competition is never without challenges and great pressure. Real Madrid is still a team to be wary of in the Champions League, even though they have experienced a decline in performance over the past two seasons, now Madrid has begun to build new strength since Mourinho arrival, Perez goal is to transform the Real Madrid squad so that they can compete again at the highest level of the Champions League.

My point exactly, it was a tricky situation that could have gone either way, PSG was only able to win during the penalty shootout but Arsenal scored first and very early in the game even, early enough that most people thought they were going to score even more, at the end they lost but it wasn't because PSG was superior, it was simply because one team had to win and PSG was lucky enough to take that win from Arsenal.

Paris Saint-Germain played not so much like Paris Saint-Germain, as we are used to seeing, they are always very experienced, so i was surprised by the fact that Arsenal played very good football and that they can play at a very high level, Arsenal clearly isn't the first time they have amazed us this year, but they also had a noteworthy championship.

Well we have all seen that it's not something that is impossible again because they have made to the finish twice and that is something big because only Real Madrid in the current years have been able to achieve that and we all know the dept of squad and team performance they had to achieve that. Luiz Enrique is an excellent coach and is someone that is literally trying to improve his tactics every time because he knows that other clubs will be waiting and they would definitely make it as hard as hell for them to achieve three trophies.

Rashford's performance with Manchester united was very weak for a few seasons. But last  season he performed quite well in la liga and champions league. I think rashford's performance has improved a bit. If Carrick can use this talented player properly then he will be able to do well at united. Manchester united's attack is also not very  strong. So keeping Rashford in the squad  will benefit them. Later on, if they buy an experienced striker, they can decide  to sell Rashford.

Rashford wasn't great with Manchester United, it's true, but he still has great potential to improve, i think he has been very underrated as a player, right now i would see him very well for a return to England, i think that after his experience in the league he can play calmly.

Rashford found his spark again under Hansi Flick and scored crucial goals against Real Madrid and in the Champions League against Newcastle. Like you mentioned, Carrick has publicly supported reintegrating Rashford into the first team for the upcoming season and hopefully they will use him wisely, let's see how it goes.

Despite all that, I did not like the performance of Rashford during the World Cup, especially in the match against DR Congo. It looked like he was struggling.

Luis Enrique is a student of football, don't think he hasn't gone through failures, and one of his biggest failures was when he took Spain to the World Cup, he did very badly, I think Japan eliminated them, I don't remember well, but he has learned, he has also gone through difficult moments in his life, and this has resulted in his experience being superior, all experience improves.

Your point is cleared to me but it will not be as easy as you think, do you think Paris Saint-Germain won Champions League easily, especially the final against Arsenal. It wasn't easy for them despite they have best attackers. A lot of teams are gradually equipping themselves, most especially for the purpose of this champions league, that is why I see a lot of sign that next season Champions League will be so much interesting because a lot of teams have worked and also Real Madrid are putting things together to come back. Even from the England alone we can see a lot of teams like Manchester United that are currently doing well, arsenal is also there and Manchester City as well.

But don't you think that's affecting his career currently, because he was rejected by the club he has the zeal and passion to play for. Who knows assuming, he chose to be serious with his life then in United when Amorim was the coach, he would have had a better position in the team compared to his current situation.

I wouldn't blame some of those that are still remunerating on the last season champions League experience because Arsenal made some talk of the town with their performance and as well PSG performed well and in claiming back the title, even though it was a slight chance victory because of penalty kick, I think what is most inconsideration now is the next season which is more anticipated for, and we are going to see how many teams are going to play better to deserve the champions League award.
Next season should be more exciting than the previous one and a bit more competitive, dont you think? My favorite at this moment to win the Champions league is Real Madrid because with the current form of Mbappe and the signings they made is quite the catch and should have them the league next season.

There would be better teams than PSG next season but its still a variable that they could still win the Champions league next season for the third time joining Ajax, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the history.

Thanks to his performance at the World Cup, Mbappe will be Real Madrid’s most influential player next season. I believe Real Madrid has put its turbulent times behind it, and Mourinho will have a very strong roster at his disposal. Mourinho is a coach who will make the most of this roster. PSG is always a favorite because of the way it plays, but I can say that next season will be a comeback season for Real Madrid.

lol, I was thinking, is there a new English club I'm yet to discover Grin... so great of Rashford, who just felt disappointed over not gaining a place in the big Spanish club, he's such a nice player, I'd prefer he goes to Spurs, than returning to Man u, he seems too archived for the reds, he needs some fresh air somewhere else, but he wouldn't want that, since Spurs won't play at the champions league, Man u is just the right place for him right now.

Carrick wants a powerful team, i don't know if Rashford will be enough for him then, in any case he's not really a bad player, i think now is his chance to come back, clearly he has to do what he feels like and if he wants he can also go and play in Italy, the important thing is that he's happy with what he does.

Mbappe was already the most influential player for Real Madrid in the latest season. But he still couldn't achieve either the La Liga or Champions League trophies...

He is like cursed!  Grin  That's a joke maybe but he really can't win the CL wherever he goes. Next season I don't have such expectation from them as well.

Mourinho could be a good manager for such tournaments maybe but I don't think he is currently good enough to make it in the CL.  Sad

Everyone was saying the same thing last year. They were talking about how unlikely it was for Paris Saint-Germain to win the Champions League two years in a row. But Paris Saint-Germain won the championship by eliminating very strong teams. So nothing is too little. Paris Saint-Germain will be strong again and will be a championship contender again. But you're right about the other teams being strong too.

One thing that makes me curious about what Paris Saint-Germain has achieved during these two UCL seasons is whether they will be able to match Madrid record of 3 consecutive wins? because what they have done is extraordinary, they have been a team that has remained solid in the two seasons competing for the UCL title and in the new year they look to be still strong because there are no major changes made to the depth of their squad, but it is true, they have to be very careful, other competing teams have strengthened their strength, which means their journey to defend the title will not be easy.

in fact every year they talk like this, based on hearsay, but they don't know that these teams are great because they always manage to repeat themselves and do well, you win the Champions League also because you are strong and Paris Saint-Germain is very strong and everyone knows this, and in my opinion it is very likely that they will also win the third consecutive cup.

Paris Saint-Germain will most likely have no difficulty in winning the Champions League again, as Real Madrid did, they are experiencing a golden period, where they were the best team, clearly a team where they are not afraid of anyone and where they have a phenomenal attack that can win against everyone.
You have a point and I'm also of the opinion that nothing lasts forever and they might not be able to win three consecutive times. Real Madrid's record has been unbeatable so far and it would be hard for psg to achieve the same results as well. They obviously struggled to win arsenal and almost lost the game, some say they won out of luck. I'm not sure they can keep it up.

Next year's Champions League will be even more exciting because many teams are stronger with new signings. In particular, we see that Real Madrid and Barcelona are aiming for the final. Similarly, Bayern Munich will again want to reach the final and win the championship. Paris Saint-Germain, as the champions of the last two years, will want to keep their title. The excitement in the Champions League next year will be at its highest level.

Next year the Champions league will be more tough than we saw last season, because many clubs are ready to compete for the trophy. Real Madrid and Barcelona are not the onky team that are aiming for the Champions league trophy, rather everyother top team participating in the champions league are having the same thing in mind.

Bayern Munich  will also want to get the champions league trophy because last season they were almost at the final, so I believe this season Kompany will do everything possible to see that Bayern Munuch still remain at the top, which will make it more competitive.

But don't you think that's affecting his career currently, because he was rejected by the club he has the zeal and passion to play for. Who knows assuming, he chose to be serious with his life then in United when Amorim was the coach, he would have had a better position in the team compared to his current situation.
He couldn't do any better under Amorim, he scored 3 goals in six appearance but was kept under pressure to build up to Amorim's standard or get benched, which he obliged to look for standards somewhere else, then moved to Aston villa, and Barca afterwards. Under Hansi he did 14 goals and 11 assists in 49 appearances, spot the difference, he had enough playing time at Barca, compared to what he would have gotten at Man U, despite the rejection from Barca his proven track record at the Spanish club will reinstate him as a strong candidate for Man U in the coming season, than what he would have become spending the whole Amorim's regime in the bench.

I see people saying that PSG won't have any difficulty in winning the CL again. Do you really believe they didn't face any struggle this season for example?

If you do then you didn't watch them in most of their matches.  Tongue  It wasn't an easy journey for them. You shouldn't forget how close the semi final and final matches were also...

So I don't expect a comfortable journey once again. But are they likely to make it for the 3rd time? Yeah, why not!

Golden age! yes, that's a fitting description for PSG right now, they're the best team in Europe, but as I said, winning back-to-back Champions League titles isn't easy. Madrid is now under Mourinho's leadership, and they've also made some great signings to boost their confidence in next season's Champions League. Bayern Munich and Kompany won't let their good form go to waste. Kompany has gained enough experience over the past two seasons. Let's wait and see what PSG does. I hope they can do it.
