I hope Mourinho's impact on Real Madrid this new season is going to bring a positive opportunity for them to get back on track as before, things are fast changing with football, and even the pattern at which other teams are also playing,, which is why there must be a little change to rejust their pattern for them to play at maximum this new season, this does not only apply even to Real Madrid this time around, but any other team that think they deserve winning the champions League most give it all the best they have starting from the management down to the players and performance.
For now, there is high expectation form both Real Madrid fans and other football fans because they knew what Jose Mourinho can do in the past, they will want him to bring positive changes to the Real Madrid team and the corrections should be corrected before the beginning of this season because fans will no longer be patient based on how they just sack Alonso without proper warning and time.

I don’t believe that Jose Mourinho will change the team completely, I believe he will solve the discipline problem, but with the momentum Hens Flick is operating, he will not take it lightly with Real Madrid that is why both of them are signing players to support their team because no room for any excuse next season.

This is why everyone needs Mourinho to do well at Real Madrid so that there El Classico will continue being a classic and interesting to watch. If only Barcelona dominates la liga, it would be interesting to watch. Itis my belief that kf the special one can build enough discipline and his players learn to play together as a team along with their reinforcements, they should do well. But I won't expect them to win the EPL. Imo, PSG is still the biggest contender going into the new UCL season.

Well one thing I know is that Jose Mourinho is quite aged now, and of cause you don't expect him to perform like he did previously when he coached real Madrid before.
Even as real Madrid are trying to be at their best so are other clubs as well, Barcelona bought new players they are very much ready to win laliga back to back, And if your depending on Mourinho of now to get that fixed, I think it will be too much of an expectation at the moment,

Let's observe how the next 2 season will be for him, but for now the players have to try individually, mbappé, vini etc, they have to be at their best to carry the team to take the trophy from Barcelona, and not Mourinho for now.

There's nothing impressive about focusing on just one competition and settling for a top 4 finish. Aren't we talking about Real Madrid? They're one of the biggest clubs in the world and would never be satisfied with finishing in the top four. Just imagine the players' mentality if they only focused on either the UCL or La Liga. That kind of approach would inevitably affect their competitive mindset.
What you say certainly makes sense, because a club as big as Real Madrid can't possibly focus solely on one competition, and they can't possibly focus solely on a top-four finish. A team that has consistently been successful in major competitions like the Champions League naturally faces immense pressure when they fail to win a competition they usually win. And next season, everyone will likely be watching to see Real Madrid pull off more surprises in several competitions, including the Champions League.

Who will ever hire someone like Jose Mourinho and support him this much in the transfer market and wouldn't have high expectations on him and his team?
He is a proven winner, so everyone at real madrid and their fan base expect him to end the dominance of Barcelona. Will that going to happen? Yes in my own opinion because Jose Mourinho has not only strengthened this real madrid team in the transfer market, but he also have the swagger and tactical capabilities to take this real madrid team to places next season.

You confidently said this as if the season have already start, you should calm down and see what Mounrinho will do when the season start, then compare that with the performance Barcelona is going to start the season with, then you will be able to know which of this team is going to fae a big challenge by next.

You can't assure or predict a team performance when the season is yet to start. Mounrinho is going to introduce a new tactis to the player and we all know the must get use to the new strategy before they can be able deliver a good result.
Do you honestly think José is the answer to Real Madrid's prayers? I doubt that. Although I love him, he's a very confident, dedicated, and intelligent coach; yes, Real Madrid needs all that, but it will take time. It's not going to be like a smooth sail because all the teams are not sleeping either. It's going to be a fierce competition both in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.

All I'm saying is, even though we're all anticipating great results, we should also be patient with him too.

Yes, it’s true, José Mourinho has the ability to adapt to whatever situation he finds himself in at whichever club he joins, and Real Madrid is no exception. He has demonstrated this ability many times throughout his career, particularly when he went to Inter and won everything with players brought in by the previous management. I don’t know if they will sign the players he wants, but it’s certain that some of the new signings are players he’s asked for, and some players will be sold on his recommendation. For the rest, he really is a top manager.

Honestly, I think Mourinho will have a very difficult job at Real.
Real has not won any important trophy for 2 years, there is no discipline and order in the team, the 2 biggest stars of the team are in conflict and the status of Vini has not been resolved yet, whether he will extend his contract or leave the club.
Plus, while still coach of Benfica Mourinho entered into conflict with Vini and the question is how they will function together now.
Mourinho is no longer a top coach and this will obviously be a transitional season for Real, so I think they will not be competitive in the Champions League and candidates for the trophy this season.

Real Madrid is not exactly the kind of club to hide behind all that transitional seasons BS.
They have spent a lot of money to buy players, still brought in a manager who has won the Champions League twice and also has good experience on how to manage big personalities and a demanding dress room.

Yes we know the last couple of years haven’t been so great for them, yes the dressing room was toxic. Yes Vini’s contract is still hanging and yes Mourinho and Vini had an ugly moment at benfica.
But none of this suddenly mean that the Madrid squad has turned into an average European side.
This is a team that has players like Mbappe, Bellingham, Vini, Courtois and some new additions too, they are gonna be highly competitive this season for sure.

Mourinho on the other hand, You really seem to be underestimating him.
This man has his ways of taking teams that have strong personalities, fixing their mentality and turning them into competitive winners; why do you think they call him The Special One?

Just because he had one difficult season at Benfica doesn’t erase him from Top Coach status.
The dude is walking into a club where the expectations are already high and even if things go wrong, the pressure won’t be on only Mourinho alone, the players too would have to prove themselves.

Perhaps Madrid might not be the favorites, but saying that they are not gonna be competitive as well is pure copium.
Watch them become a nightmare to play against come October, and then we’ll talk

What are good results for other clubs are just average and unsatisfactory for Real.
For Real, every season in which they were not European champions or at least Spanish champions is actually a bad season, considering the size of the players in the club, the quality of the team, etc.
However, currently several European clubs are ahead of Real in terms of team quality, such as PSG or Bayern and I don't think that this difference in quality can be bridged in just 1 season under a new coach but maybe I'm wrong, we'll see.
As for Mourinho, yes he is a great coach and has done a lot but that is all ancient football history.
All his great successes and results are from the period between 2002-2017.
After that, in the last 10 years he has only changed numerous clubs, and the only worthwhile thing he has won is the UEFA Conference League with Roma in 2022.
His methods and tactics are outdated and he is no longer the coach who once led Real, Inter or Chelsea.

[Edited out]
If they are going to be big contenders of the UCL then that also means that they are going to have an even higher chance of winning their own league, FC Barcelona might be difficult for them to beat especially since they are still going to need to get used to playing with Mourinho but that doesn't mean that won't show good promise, even if they don't win they simply have to perform well enough and place well at the end of the league.
But having José Morinho could also be the most influential factor the team would have over Barcelona this season. All through José Morinho's encounter as a manager against Barcelona, he has always been holding up, winning 2 of those encounters, drawing 2 and losing 2 of the encounters in the laliga. There's one good trait that he brings to the team which is the never giving up and pressing threats. With their recent players signings together with the new coach winning mindset, they will possibly challenge Barcelona this season. Real Madrid seems to have a bigger dream which is the champions league so it's also possible to put more focus on the champions League but this will not affect their clash with Barcelona who is their prime rivalry. So I see the coming of José Morinho as strength and not weakness to the team.

Winning the UCL you mean?

Real Madrid is known to be the biggest club in the World and that's no doubt, though their recent performance has shown otherwise after several years of absolute dominance in the Champions league but I sense a different feeling this season with what Mourinho is cooking.

Though yesterday's outcome was a disappointing outcome with a total loss in the second half after a brilliant performance in the first half. We would not totally conclude based on the results yesterday but we should watch out for Real Madrid in this coming season, both for the League title and the Champions league.

No one is rushing him as a coach, people just have good expectations of him and with how good of a manager that he is you can't blame them, it very likely that Real Madrid might be in for some major winnings with Mourinho as the coach, there is no guarantee of it but that's not enough reason for people to not wish for it to happen, sometimes we just want for certain things to happen especially when there is is build up to it, Mourinho becoming Real Madrid's coach is already building up to something.

I don't really care to know how strong Hansi Flick is preparing his team, the one thing I know is it won't be as easy as he has gotten it in the seasons past, Jose Mourinho is definitely gonna give him tough time on that league trust me, and one thing I'm certain is Jose Mourinho is winning the UEFA Champions League title this season, I don't know how you guys might think it but one thing for sure is he's winning it this season, that's why he's making sure Vinicius junior doesn't leave the team for now because he's got work to do on the pitch for him.

However, the past can never determine the future. If Mourinho can create discipline within Real Madrid and if he can eliminate the problems among the players, then maybe we will see 80% of the problems solved. One of the biggest problems of the team is the lack of good relations among themselves and if Mourinho is able to create this good relation then we can hope that Real Madrid's situation will be the same as it was before under Mourinho.

It will be difficult to not see changes in the team with the level of experience coming to the team. I know players perform based on the communication with the coach but with everything going on we are likely to see positive changes. I would have thought otherwise if Mourinho is coming to meet the exact squad available last season. It's almost a new squad so the energy will surely be different. Hansi Flick is currently doing well and they are both not going to take it likely.

However, the past can never determine the future. If Mourinho can create discipline within Real Madrid and if he can eliminate the problems among the players, then maybe we will see 80% of the problems solved. All that is needed to make the squad perform better is discipline and respecting one another. Mourinho should be able to handle that just fine. Since that's their major problem if he solves it surely they will be performing quite well as expected.

The competition in the Champions League is fierce right now, and it's going to be very difficult to predict, as has been seen in the last few seasons. The same is true for Real Madrid next season. It's still a possibility, although Real Madrid shouldn't be underestimated because they are a team with a strong mentality, so they still deserve to be watched.

And as for Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid, they still need time to adapt, so I won't have high expectations for Real Madrid next season.

Haha! Physical and defensive football you say, that has been his ways. I remember his days at Chelsea. He doesn't need to score much. Just a goal, and Mikel Obi would stand tall at the defense midfield doing the dirty job while they avoided to concede just a goal. He won so many matches that way. But I believe football isn't nice that way anymore. Things have really changed and teams or managers who play low block games do not real go far or lift much trophies.

This is Real Madrid, and of course, he was a coach there. He knows the velocity of the team. He understands what the team stands for. Like you saud, Madrid is an attacking team and not a defense depending team. Yea, they used to always have a backbone at defense that is so rootless, but the midfielders and attackers are always hot. If he tries to bring in his defensive mentality to the team, then he may have serious problems in delivering his job effectively. Let's see what he plans

With the issues Real Madrid have been facing over the last two seasons, Mourinho is the best coach to handle the situation because he is one of the most top disciplined coach, I believe he can properly address the dressing room and he can manage the players well. There will not be more issues with Real Madrid winning games. It is the lack of teamwork that is making Real Madrid face challenges in winning matches consistently.I know that we are all aware of Mourinho's style of play, which is defensive. However, that is usually when he does not have good attackers. When he has quality attackers in his team, he does not focus entirely on defensive tactics. He plays both attacking and defensive football. So, I would not say that Mourinho will try to force defensive tactics on the Real Madrid squad. It is not that I trust him too much, but I believe he can rebuild Real Madrid again and possibly win them trophies before the club declines again. In almost every club Mourinho has managed, he has won a reasonable number of trophies before eventually getting sacked.
