I expect Real Madrid to return back to dominating Europe again under Mourinho, but what I'm not sure of is if he'll do it in his first season.
Mourinho competing with young coaches with razor sharp football initiatives is a challenge he'd fail at instant catch up or follow up. Take for example, Ancelloti was dismantled by Norway for his low decisive strength, I regret to say this, but Age was a factor to his weak strategy in that match. Mourinho fighting for a title like the champions leagues with managers in their early 50s and 40s is quite a concern, he'd hardly get to understand the emotional transitional tactics these guys are building into modern football.

For now, there is high expectation form both Real Madrid fans and other football fans because they knew what Jose Mourinho can do in the past, they will want him to bring positive changes to the Real Madrid team and the corrections should be corrected before the beginning of this season because fans will no longer be patient based on how they just sack Alonso without proper warning and time.
I don’t believe that Jose Mourinho will change the team completely, I believe he will solve the discipline problem, but with the momentum Hens Flick is operating, he will not take it lightly with Real Madrid that is why both of them are signing players to support their team because no room for any excuse next season.
This is why everyone needs Mourinho to do well at Real Madrid so that there El Classico will continue being a classic and interesting to watch. If only Barcelona dominates la liga, it would be interesting to watch. Itis my belief that kf the special one can build enough discipline and his players learn to play together as a team along with their reinforcements, they should do well. But I won't expect them to win the EPL. Imo, PSG is still the biggest contender going into the new UCL season. If you can observe recently El Classico does not look interesting like before, because even the way people discuss it on the street is different compared to when El Classico was so classic. It is an event that normally create history but I don't just know it has turned to a normal match which does not have any vibe again from people. Since the arrival of Mourinho, I have so much confidence that Vibe in a El Classico will come back again. When you talk of Champions League, I have so much believe that Paris Saint-Germain still have a lot to do because almost all the teams have strengthen their squad to compete for this title most especially Real Madrid and Barcelona . The football normally becomes more interesting if the nothing clubs are strong enough to fire/pressure each other on every ball. Season may definitely differs from one another, some maybe due to the changes in players or Coach. Again even fans can actually actually contribute to the interesting season, experiential when they watch big clubs matches and the players has good passion from the beginning of the season till end. But for the champions league I don't think it's better to depend or judge rate them from thier past success. Thank God for Mourinho he really wants to bring back the main Real Madrid of before, I know he can do it because he's one of the greatest Coaches I respect much, with his discipline on players.

I hope Mourinho's impact on Real Madrid this new season is going to bring a positive opportunity for them to get back on track as before, things are fast changing with football, and even the pattern at which other teams are also playing,, which is why there must be a little change to rejust their pattern for them to play at maximum this new season, this does not only apply even to Real Madrid this time around, but any other team that think they deserve winning the champions League most give it all the best they have starting from the management down to the players and performance.
I don't really care to know how strong Hansi Flick is preparing his team, the one thing I know is it won't be as easy as he has gotten it in the seasons past, Jose Mourinho is definitely gonna give him tough time on that league trust me, and one thing I'm certain is Jose Mourinho is winning the UEFA Champions League title this season, I don't know how you guys might think it but one thing for sure is he's winning it this season, that's why he's making sure Vinicius junior doesn't leave the team for now because he's got work to do on the pitch for him. Jose Mourinho is literally the perfect manager but we think he will definitely not be able to win the UEFA Champions League after taking charge of Real Madrid this season, in fact this manager may be trying to strengthen this team. However Hansi Flick is also making strong preparations with his team for the upcoming season and you will notice that Jose Mourinho is preparing strongly with his team Madrid Real Madrid's new manager is working through the warm-up matches with the new players joining the team, so I think Real Madrid will have a chance to win the La Liga trophy in the upcoming season but Barcelona's players are in great form, therefore it seems they will have a chance to surpass Real Madrid in the upcoming season as well.

Jose mourinho has a lost to do with Real Madrid defense, he might not be able to win the champions league this season with this kind of defense, Real Madrid has the best attackers in the world but the defense is very terrible.
Yesterday their weak defense cost them against Fiorentina after leading with two goals ahead in the first half, only for Florentina to comeback and equalized the two goals and draw the game, it's was a friendly game but I'd you listen to Jose mourinho comment in the game, he said , he was a fresh , tired and very tired players. He will drop many players that are not fit to play, he will need to sign new defenders too, he needs more, that's the area he needs to work on.
It is not only the Champions League, even in their domestic league, they may not do well if their defense is not that strong. But I just feel that the problem is not entirely with the defensive line; it is also in the midfield.Madrid really need a very good defensive midfielder. Once they are able to sign a great defensive midfielder, they will be ready to compete throughout the season. Even their defensive line will improve because they currently don't have a good defensive midfielder. That is why the pressure is always on the defense. When there is too much pressure on the defense, no matter how good the defenders are, it will eventually collapse. So, what Mourinho needs most in that squad right now is a defensive midfielder. It would be a great opportunity if they could sign Rodri because he is the player I believe can help Madrid hold the defensive midfield properly.

Mourinho has a good eye for acquiring quality players to fill up his team as he need with his coaching style. but for now, Mourinho strategies look like begun predicted by opposing coaches. If he doesn't adapt to a new strategy other than parking the bus, Madrid may not be able to win the title this season.
As a fan, I would never deny a statement like that because football has changed significantly since Mourinho's first spell, and the game is very different now. On top of that, there are two teams that I believe would be particularly difficult for Madrid to face PSG and Bayern. Both teams have managers with more modern tactical approaches, and I think it would be difficult for Mourinho to break down those systems. But I think it won't take long to break Mourinho's tactics. Because first of all, I want to say that Mourinho is an experienced and tactical coach. He knows very well which player to use when and where. And when the team is Real Madrid, there is no question of inexperienced or weak players. This team, which is full of talented and experienced players, does not need to be taught any new tactics, but only if they can create the right bond between them can Mourinho see good success. Mourinho's most familiar and favorite strategy is to first strengthen his defense so much that the opposing team cannot break the defense in any way. After strengthening the defense line, Madrid has the best forwards in the world. Who have performed very well in this World Cup as well. If they can maintain that same consistency, it will be very difficult to defeat Mourinho and Real Madrid.

People have lots of expectations on Mourinho to revive trophy winnings to Real Madrid, I really hope he does so atleast even at the domestic level.
This season's El Classico would have lots of viewers ( the first one actually), a lot of people would love to see how it would go between Flick and Mourinho and the pressure would be on Mourinho to win it.
I really like Mourinho, first of all because of his character. I loved his press conferences when he was at Tottenham and his outbursts at Fenerbahçe, but all of that is just for show. He needs to win something to prove that he still has it. Unfortunately, I can't see him doing much at this Real side. Hopefully, he will win La Liga and get back on the right track once again. Mourinho still has what it takes to when it comes to handling of top teams like Madrid. There is nothing to proof from a coach like Mourinho who who has seen and win everything thing that is possible. The reason why most people are beginning to doubt Mourinho is his inability in wining a trophy in his past two clubs that he has handled. But if we can be sincere with ourselves we will know that you can't blame Mourinho because both Fernabach and Benfica where he handled last didn't have the players to fighting for trophies both in the Turkish league and that of the Portuguese league respectively I believe that Mourinho will do well at Madrid, because looking at this madrid team there are allot of quality players who are at the disposal of Mourinho. Mourinho is one coach that brings out the best in players and this is one thing that I see playing out in Madrid. Madrid is definitely going back to her former glory and is going to dominate Europe again by winning not only the laliga title but also the champions League under Mourinho. Fenerbahce paid the highest by a huge amount in Turkey. En-Nesyri was banging in goals for fun. Dzeko was still producingT as the team scored 90 goals in the league alone. And they still could not win the title. So what was it then? Because it was not talent. The issue is that Mourinho's sides do not perform well when they are forced to attack against those who simply refuse to engage. This is the way it has been for years. Benfica never lost a game all season. Not one loss. And finished third. They drew eleven games they absolutely should have won. Does that mean he will fail at Madrid now? Actually no. Madrid has something he did not get since like, Ronaldo era Madrid. You do not have to "break down" anything for Mbappe and Vinicius. They just need space behind the defence and it is over. The keeper's picking the ball out of the net.

After failing at Fenerbahçe, he went to Benfica and failed there as well. His move to Real Madrid came as a huge surprise to me. Real is in such a desperate situation that they're now pinning their hopes on Mourinho, whose career is effectively over. The team was in terrible shape last season and now they're expecting Mourinho to work a miracle. I think Real will be eliminated early this year. They might not even make it to the quarter finals. I can count at least 8 teams that are much better than them. 2 players can't carry the whole team. What's more, one of them is the subject of transfer rumors while the other stands out for his selfishness. This Real squad needs to learn to play as a team first, otherwise they won't even be able to win the Copa del Rey let alone Champions League.

Not every club thinks so, and not every fan also thinks so. They want to see the change immediately the take over has happened. They want to see the manager performing optimally and also want the player to be in action and deliver maximum result of what they expect from him. Adaptation takes time for different people and how fast it works for you to reach maximum level is different from how it’ll work for the other person. Clubs should learn to be patient with their managers and player before taking action against them. One season is not enough to write off a manager, as long as his performance is not that worse, he should be given another chance to see how he’ll cope or try again to be better than the way they are the previous season.
This patience depends on the team, top teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Liverpool do not have enough time to be patient. Whatever changes are made in these teams, immediate results have to be seen. Otherwise, the manager or the players will have to face criticism. That is why it is very difficult to appoint the right manager in these top teams and there is a lot of pressure on the managers. Losing one match of the season means that these teams are behind in the title race, so they have to try to maintain consistency from the beginning. It's undeniable that big teams always demand that their coaches consistently perform well. But the reality is that sometimes,, due to intense competition, or because the coach is new to the game, those expectations don't match reality. That's where the difficulty lies in being a coach for a big team. However, I don't think all big teams will immediately fire a coach who hasn't delivered good results for their team. As long as the coach seems to have good prospects, I'm sure they'll at least be retained. Like Arteta at Arsenal. Even though he often fails to lead Arsenal to victory, he's still retained because Arteta has clear prospects. Therefore, I think firing a coach in his first season because the team's performance isn't optimal is definitely not a good idea. And besides, talking about the upcoming Champions League, I think Arsenal will most likely perform well again, and may even have the potential to reach the final again. So,, what do you all think?

Yes, Mourinho did a good job when he coached Real Madrid, but the players are certainly different now. And, if you think about it Mourinho has never led real Madrid to a Champions League trophy, so sometimes I don't understand why Real Madrid chose Mourinho again as their coach. But now, everything has happened, and of course, we'll see what happens to real Madrid in the Champions League, La Liga, and elsewhere. However, I also sometimes think it's very difficult to find a suitable coach for real Madrid in the current situation Who do you think is the right coach for Real Madrid?

What are good results for other clubs are just average and unsatisfactory for Real. For Real, every season in which they were not European champions or at least Spanish champions is actually a bad season, considering the size of the players in the club, the quality of the team, etc. However, currently several European clubs are ahead of Real in terms of team quality, such as PSG or Bayern and I don't think that this difference in quality can be bridged in just 1 season under a new coach but maybe I'm wrong, we'll see.
C’mon now bro, you seem to be judging Real Madrid by the same standards as every other clubs and then you are acting suprised when the expectations are higher. That’s literally the whole point of this club; their identity has always been built around having high expectations and being judged by a different standard than most other european clubs. And perhaps PSG and Bayern might look good on paper but that doesn’t mean anything to me until they can actually win the trophies. We have seen this type of scenario play out before; you will see team squads that look perfect on the transfer market ending up getting exposed the second they meet a team that actually knows how to win when it matters lmao. The bottom line is that Real Madrid don’t need to close the quality gap between them and the other teams in one season, all they just need to do is to still be the ones standing tall come May, that’s enough for us. As for Mourinho, yes he is a great coach and has done a lot but that is all ancient football history. All his great successes and results are from the period between 2002-2017. After that, in the last 10 years he has only changed numerous clubs, and the only worthwhile thing he has won is the UEFA Conference League with Roma in 2022. His methods and tactics are outdated and he is no longer the coach who once led Real, Inter or Chelsea.
No disrespect but this your take about Mourinho is just based on pure recency bias. This man walks back into bernabeu after many years and the first thing he says is to call their pre season performance “total rubbish” and you think that’s him being outdated ? Fuck no, that’s exactly the kind of mentality that he’s tryna instill in the players. The mentality that has carried he himself throughout his career: demanding more, staying ruthless and refusing to settle for less. This is pretty much the kind of motivation that the Madrid team need. Mourinho turned a broken Inter Milan into European champions and dragged Chelsea and Real to titles even when people said the same shit about him being finished then. You can call it ancient history all you like, but don’t worry, we will call it the part where he actually delivers while everyone else is still talking about team quality. See you in May. OK you are obviously a real Real fan and you have high expectations of them this season under the new coach and that is ok. I never said that Real will be bad this season or that they are not a good team, but I don't think they will be the main favorites for the titles this season. Real also had probably the best team in Europe in terms of names in recent seasons, but the reason why they did not win the titles was not in the quality of the team but because of the disorder in the team, lack of discipline, conflicts between the coach and the players and between the players themselves, etc. Whether Mourinho is the right choice for Real at this moment, someone who can bring order to the team and prepare them for the biggest challenges, winning the Champions League and the Spanish Championship, remains to be seen. However, until Real shows that they have become a team again, and not just a collection of expensive players without discipline, for me the main favorites to win the Champions League this season are still PSG and Bayern.

They need a fresh start now, they need to get the dressing room under control, so that it doesn't end up like last season, the team needs to be re-formed, and it's all up to Mourinho now, let's see how Mourinho can rebuild the team now. I hope he takes care of all aspects and makes a significant change to the team.

Sometimes you can’t just blame the coach when the team refuse to win trophies regardless of how good their players are, but they need to win if the coach is good enough and uses the players in the right way. Last season, I was expecting Jose Mourinho to win trophy for Benfica because they were very good and lost no game in their league, but I think it is from the manager who can not change their mentality as they settle for draw in some other games because I believe that since they are able to end season without losing any match, they should win the trophy. We can’t just conclude because Real Madrid alone as a team have good mentality, we cannot compare them to other teams he managed because they have world class players with pure winning mentality and are hungry to win titles after going two seasons without winning a trophy. I think he can help the team, but we are not sure because other teams are also not slacking, every team is preparing really strong against next season.

I don’t really have a trust in Jose Mourinho appointment, I’m looking at his records in the last couple of years, his been awful in his previous jobs mostly in Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs, sometimes I forget that his been a manager at Tottenham and he was sacked, Mourinho style of play isn’t appealing anymore, I don’t really understand the kind of football his going to bring to Real Madrid, Honestly I think if he brings a more defensive football then it’s absolutely not going to work out for him, Because Real Madrid isn’t a team that play defensive football, Judging from the the players his signing means that he wants to play a more physical and defensive football.
Although judging Mourinho from his previous clubs, many people will doubt him to bring Real Madrid back to winning ways. Real Madrid is eager to win trophies next season, and they appointed him to bring them back to winning ways. It’s very disappointing for a club like Real Madrid to end two good seasons without a single trophy. Mourinho didn’t win a trophy at Fenerbahçe before he was sacked, the same thing at Benfica and now returns to Real Madrid. Moreover, I don’t think Mourinho is playing defensive football to sign more defenders. If you have watched Real Madrid games since last season, they need more defense to prevent their opponents from scoring goals. Because they have good attacking players in their squad. Lack of a defensive player has been affecting them for the last two seasons. We’ll see what happens next season.

It would be a great opportunity if they could sign Rodri because he is the player I believe can help Madrid hold the defensive midfield properly.
Mourinho in my opinion is a great professional. We simply have to wait for the start of the championship to understand what identity he will have given to his Real Madrid, because otherwise no hypotheses can be made based on pre-season matches in which the reserves are mainly used.

Who have performed very well in this World Cup as well. If they can maintain that same consistency, it will be very difficult to defeat Mourinho and Real Madrid.
I believe that Mourinho wants to use players who tend to verticalize much more. Real Madrid have always been a very attacking team and i think they want to go back to that style of play a bit, making the most of players like Vinicius, hoping he renews his contract, Mbappé, Alexander-Arnold.

The truth is that football also tends to update itself, it is partly true that age can make a difference, because many coaches tend to use a football style that is always very similar to what is best for them. But younger coaches understand that football has become much more, both tactically and intelligently, and therefore there is a different way of intervening on teams.

Therefore, I think firing a coach in his first season because the team's performance isn't optimal is definitely not a good idea. And besides, talking about the upcoming Champions League, I think Arsenal will most likely perform well again, and may even have the potential to reach the final again. So,, what do you all think?
But i think that no team sets out with the intention of sacking a coach. However, he is always given the chance to score some points. Obviously if, looking at the performances, you see a general malfunction of the team, precautions must be taken before it becomes too late.

I expect Real Madrid to return back to dominating Europe again under Mourinho, but what I'm not sure of is if he'll do it in his first season.

If you guys actually believe Jose Mourinho can't do nothing in this Real Madrid team why then did Perez went for him? Like you guys are really underestimating Jose Mourinho on what he can do, let's look at his stats since he's left Real Madrid till now that he's back to the club, has he had a bad stats on those various clubs he's worked on? The fact is let's not be to quick to judge, let's wait for the season to start first, I trust Real Madrid, if he's not working to their expectations they will need no opinion to sack him, but deep down within me I believe he will do well.

Mourinho, Benitez, Arsene Wenger, Ancelotti, Spalletti. The eras of all these managers have come to an end. As far as I know, Benitez and Wenger have retired from coaching, while the other three are essentially in the final stages of their careers. No matter how much they try to reinvent themselves, their glory days are behind them. If Mourinho fails at Real Madrid this year, his era will definitively come to an end. If he insists on continuing his managerial career, his destination would be the Saudi league—provided that happens.

The special one for me will always be a coach who made history. It is also true that in recent years he has no longer been as incisive as before, but he remains a coach who certainly has skills and perhaps also the best suited to coaching this Real Madrid team which has lost its personality a bit. So we just have to wait and see how he gives his interpretation of the team.
