Indeed, if Barcelona can bring in Osimhen, it will certainly have the potential to make Barcelona perform well in the Champions League and La Liga because Barcelona currently seems to be in need of a great player like Osimhen. However, until now I haven't found any good news whether Osimhen will be bought by Barcelona or not. What I know now is that Barcelona doesn't seem to want to buy Osimhen because Osimhen's salary is very high and Osimhen is said to be less compatible with Hansi Flick's coaching style. But well, we'll see what happens later. Yes, hopefully Barcelona quickly finds a good player and finally Barcelona has a stronger squad than currently.
Indeed, if Barcelona plays without a great striker, it will certainly have the potential to lose to Real Madrid in the competition and will certainly be difficult to compete with UCL teams like PSG, Arsenal and others. However, I think Barcelona will definitely try to get a new, very great striker, and I think there is great potential for Barcelona to get a new, great striker. Well, we'll see what happens later.
If Barcelona signed Osimhen they would certainly make a nice advanced unit, he would be a nuisance both in the league and in the Champions League. It is not easy to sign Osimhen also due to his very high salary, but he would be a striker worth taking. We will try to strengthen the attack to be competitive in the UCL too, we'll see what happens.

Today, Fenerbahçe will play one of the most important matches of recent years. Lyon stands as the final hurdle to qualifying for the Champions League. Overcoming them won't be easy, but Fenerbahçe has a long-standing longing—spanning 18 years—to reach the Champions League.
Although Fenerbahçe lost 2-1 to Gençlerbirliği in their last match, the atmosphere for this game will be different. Fenerbahçe has no missing players; they will start the match with their ideal lineup. I expect Fenerbahçe to emerge victorious today, even if it proves to be a tough battle. They need to secure an advantageous scoreline in this first leg.
Another crucial point is this: suppose Fenerbahçe does qualify for the Champions League with its current squad—what kind of success could they realistically achieve? I believe their squad is quite inadequate for the Champions League. Galatasaray's squad also has significant shortcomings, and with their current roster structure, they wouldn't be able to succeed in the Champions League this year either. Perhaps the best path for Fenerbahçe would be to continue in the UEFA Europa League. After all, Fenerbahçe's primary goal this season is to win the Turkish League championship.
From the last league game Fenerbahçe lost against Gençlerbirliği, Fenerbahçe has three missing players in their squad, even Ederson was not in the squad due to illness, and I don’t think he will be fit for the Champions League tonight. According to H2H Fenerbahçe did not win in any of their previous three meetings, they draw and lost the other two matches. I don’t think Fenerbahçe have strengthen their squad, they should be able to win the Turkish league this season. Fenerbahçe needs to take the home advantage to score more goals. The second leg will be more difficult to win away from home. Lyon squad is not as strong as last season, I don’t think they can be a threat to Fenerbahçe in the first leg. Even though Fenerbahçe qualify for the Champions League, they don’t have the quality players to go for in the competition. Galatasaray on the other hand, does not make any signings during the summer, they want to rely on their players to go for the league title this season. Maybe this season if going for the Fenerbahçe to win the league after strengthening their squad.

Do you think Manchester United is among the teams with a complete squad in the Champions League? I don’t think Manchester United has the complete squad to compete for the Champions League. Manchester United will need to make more signings before the end of the transfer window. Other teams are busy signing 4 to 5 players during the transfer market, and Manchester United only signed two midfielders, thinking they can beat every opponent they face this season.
However, Michael Carrick is trying to convert Dorgu from left back to left forward, so I expect the team to sign another left back as a backup for Shaw. Luke Shaw is an injury player, we are not confident enough that he will be fit throughout this season. Manchester United also needs more attacking players to compete with Rashford because he is not at his best level anymore.
Manchester united have the same backline from the 2022 they didn't even change the backline Dalot , Shaw., Martinez, Maguire. So you think this back line can complete in UCL Haha I don't think so they can complete in Europe right now with this backline. They need some changes to compete in european competition. Manchester United need transfer not to change any player position they just sign 2 midfielder in this transfer window and not focus on defence line. I thought Araujo can loan out to Manchester United because he is following Gerad pique roadmap but they ended loan out to Liverpool. Because Manchester United have no interest to strengthen their defence line. I don't know how carrick can carry this Manchester United team next season because they don't have any good defender they just focus on midfielder and I think if your defence is weak you can't win the league. Also they don't have any trusted forward as well Rashford is back to Man United squad but they are not consistent performance players. So Manchester United need some good transfer to strengthen their squad first they need a good defender to pair up with Maguire and then they need a good winger as well as a good Attacking midfielder as well.

Today kicks off the final Champions League qualifying round for the 2026/27 season. We've got the first three play-off legs lined up today for a place in the group phase:
Fenerbahce (Turkey) vs Olympique Lyon (France) Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia) vs Viking (Norway) Levski Sofia (Bulgaria) vs AEK Athens (Greece)
The Fenerbahce vs Lyon tie is definitely the main event for me. Both sides are Champions League quality, but only one is going through. Bookies are leaning towards Fenerbahce, but I reckon Lyon can at least snatch a draw. In the other two matches, I expect Dinamo Zagreb and AEK Athens to win.

Lyon has the edge in this tie, though it wouldn't be a surprise if Fenerbahçe advanced. It is crucial for Fenerbahçe to win the first leg. The match between Dinamo Zagreb and Viking also features two evenly matched teams, much like the Fenerbahçe-Lyon tie. Even if Zagreb wins the first leg, I believe Viking will ultimately advance. Viking has made a strong start to the Norwegian league season. AEK is the favorite in the tie against Levski Sofia; I don't give Levski any chance of advancing in this round. In all three of these matches, we will hear the Champions League anthem once again after a long hiatus.

Is the current Barcelona squad as strong as the Barcelona of the past? Does the current Inter squad match up to their squad of the past? How about Manchester United? How about Juventus? I can go ahead and mention teams whose current squad is not as strong as their past squad, but that is not the point.
I think almost everything is being affected on this regard, because those that have previous encouraging performance now feels to maintain the same pace, giving room for others to also come into light, though overtaking is allowed in football, because it is a game of competence and only those that maintain their squad intact and deliver as expected will mass out from among others, but this does not mean that all this teams cannot still do well again both now or in the nearest future. The mentioned clubs (Barcelona, Manchester united, Inter, Juventus) has great past. Some even influenced mad people on the streets. Of course their past and now might never be of the same strength for several reasons, aside personal competence of each player, the manager and driving force among the team also differs which will mean different strength. Manchester united is already not the Manchester united known in the past.

If Osimhen's salary remains quite high, it's feared that it could pose difficulties for Barcelona if they can't afford him due to the team's current financial situation. Regardless, I also believe that if Osimhen were to be signed by Barcelona, it would clearly be a serious obstacle for other teams in La Liga and the Champions League. However, for now, we need to monitor Barcelona's ability to recruit players, because if several players with high salaries are involved, Barcelona will certainly be a bit overwhelmed.

A team that has already qualified for the Champions League should not be underestimated, especially in certain rounds where a loss can immediately result in a team's elimination. However, almost every friendly match these days has yielded results that are beyond expectations. So it's not surprising that some people immediately judge a team's performance based on the results, although in my opinion, this may not be an accurate indicator of a team's true strength.
A team already qualified for the Champions League is obviously not to be underestimated, just think that it is already qualified for the Champions League and if it is already qualified there will be a reason. You can't rely on friendlies to make predictions simply because they are matches without any real sporting value other than studying the team and the various members of the squad.

As for the Lyon and Fenerbahce matches, I think this one is very difficult to call. Although Lyon may have a slight advantage, I think everything will depend on how well Fenerbahce can perform at home and how many goals they can score. Because Lyon will most likely play better at home. As for Dinamo Zagreb and Viking, for me Zagreb are clear favorites here. I think they will definitely win the home leg, and in the away game, they will try to avoid losing.

Snip.
i'm a huge Osimhen fan. in my view, Osimhen is literally 99.9% of Galatasaray right now.... even though he's still playing in Turkey, this guy is easily one of the top 5 strikers in Europe. he's such an elite player that Arsenal see Osimhen as the missing piece to win the Champions League. Osimhen has become the player attracting the most attention from several elite clubs in this transfer window. The interest shown in him by both Arsenal and Barcelona is not without reason, he has proven his quality as a top-class striker capable of adapting quickly to the clubs he plays for. Galatasaray is very fortunate to have secured him from Napoli, but Osimhen needs a bigger club to achieve success in his career. Arsenal is building an ambitious project after successfully winning the EPL trophy and reaching the UCL final last season. Barcelona is also in dire need of a top-class striker following the departures of Lewandowski and Ferran Torres. He would be a great addition to the attack at either Arsenal or Barcelona, in my opinion, it is time for him to step up to the next level with a bigger club. yeah. if they asked me to choose between a front three of Osimhen, Sane and Lang versus Arsenal's attackers, i'd pick the Lang+Sane+Osimhen trio every time. i mean, what are Eze, Madueke, Havertz and Trossard even doing in a team chasing a title?

Levski, to my surprise, have made it quite far, but I also think AEK will beat them at this stage. Dinamo Zagreb are also favorites for me in this match, and I think they should beat Viking at home. I also expect Fenerbahce not to lose at home. However, in this tie, I would probably bet on Lyon to advance.

imo it’s practically nearly impossible for Fenerbahçe to beat Lyon. Fenerbahçe’s biggest issue isn't their full backs, center backs, goalkeeper or midfield. Fenerbahçe’s biggest issue is having Talisca and Asensio on the pitch at the same time... in modern world football, no top tier team can easily carry two attacking players whose defensive contribution is close to zero at the same time. nowadays, teams struggle to carry even a single player like that. And those who do manage to carry one end up shaping their entire tactical plan around covering up for that defensive liability, no matter how talented the player is...

Fenerbahce are in good form this season when compared to Lyon. Since July 14th, both clubs have played six games. The Turkish side won four games, drew one, and lost another. The French side lost three and won the other half. I would prefer to bet on Fenerbahce, considering how they have fared recently. The return of İsmail Kartal to the club seems to have contributed to the good results the Turkish side has been getting recently.

Those are all Potential grate games, I’m mostly interested in the game between Fenerbahce vs Olympique Lyon that looks more like a potential classic game, I will be paying more attention to that game, but I think Olympique Lyon is going to advance to the Champions League Groups. Dinamo Zagreb vs Viking, I don’t know much about Vikings of Norway but I believe they’re going to put up a fight against Zagreb, but I’m predicting Dinamo Zagreb to advance. Levski Sofia vs AEK Athens, it’s a potential interesting game as well, I don’t know much about both teams, but on paper Athens should be advancing, unless we see a motivated Sofia.

So Manchester United need some good transfer to strengthen their squad first they need a good defender to pair up with Maguire and then they need a good winger as well as a good Attacking midfielder as well. Manchester united isn't the only premier league club having defensive issues, it's almost everywhere. What about Liverpool, they just sold konate, and they need defense too. Andy Robertson is fading off, there Big 4 is getting weak too. Even Chelsea, tottenham are also in the same issue. Arsenal is not always left out with the defense issues. They lost Saliba to an uncertain return back injury duriytye World cup tournament. Jurien Timber if still not back, Ben white not strong enough etc. so, the issue of defense is a problem for almouall clubs. Every manager will just have to manage and see how he is able to manage the club whole they find better options. Maybe, we could still see some clubs land defenders before the transfer window deadline date. Taking about Carrick, he has really done well within the time frame he took over last season as an acting boss. I believe now that he is the head coach, he will also do well. Let's see how he can handle the team and bring some solutions to there troubles.

Our team, Fenerbahçe, will face Lyon in the first leg of the Champions League playoff match. We can start by saying that this is a match Fenerbahçe absolutely must win. This match is of great importance for Fenerbahçe, and a high-pressure game awaits us. Playing the first leg at home is, of course, a major advantage. We can say that any kind of victory here will put us on the path to advancing to the next round. Although the loss to Gençlerbirliği over the weekend dampened morale a bit, I believe the team has undergone a special preparation process for this match.

Honestly things don't look that good for Real and Mourinho is about to face a plethora of challenges. And I'm not even talking about personal relationships with celebrities and their egos. Do you know how many Real players played in the final match of the World Cup? Zero. Not a single one. Well Cucurella was technically signed by then but we haven't seen him play yet, maybe he won't even be that good at Real. Anyway, the squad is the weakest it's been in many years and that's the main challenge imho. On top of potential issues between Mourinho and star players, which have taken place in the past in his career, including his first time at Real many years ago.
You claim things don't look good for both Real Madrid and Mourinho, how exactly did you come to this conclusion because we all know the season hasn't started for them, so I'm wondering how you came to this conclusion. Let me assume you are using the pre season which is even funny because that's when managers test run their players. Their last match that they won 3 - 0, did you watch it, I guess not because of you did then you should the future id bright for Real Madrid and Mourinho, this is for you who uses pre season matches. You claimed no Real Madrid player was part of the final, then you mentioned Cucurella, then I'm wondering, under what club badge did Cucurella go to the WC? You claim the squad is the weakest which even further makes me wonder how you came to this very conclusions.

For today's fixtures my bet choices are like: - Fenerbahçe win @1.99 odds - Dinamo win @1.72 odds - Levski Sofia or draw @1.58 odds We have a total odds of 5.40 here... Really risky choices, yes I know. But I just wanted to listen to my inner voice and picked these ones. Fenerbahçe is the riskiest choice in this betslip. But you know how great the atmosphere is at the stadiums of Turkish teams. I expect Fenerbahçe to win this one with the help of their fans as well.

Whether they are the same or not anymore the glory and name is always there and no one can take it from them. However, Barcelona past and now I don't really see any difference because they are almost doing what they use to do which is winning El classico sometimes, winning the la Liga, the super cup etc and I think inter Milan also is doing great, they use to win their league and sometimes play well in the champions league but Manchester united is far from what they use to be.

Osimhen is a big shot because of that, his club Galatsaray will not like to sell him. Al-Hilal has offer £170 million to Galatsaray that they should sell him to them but Galatsaray turn down their offer. So it is not about the money because if it was for the money, Galatsaray would have accepted their money to sell Osimhen to Al-Hilal. Barcelona can't offer any amount that will move Galatasaray that they will sell Osimhen to them. They valued him so much, he is priceless and no amount of money will make them to sell him. I think Barcelona is wasting their time they should forget about Osimhen because it is not going to happen anytime soon.
