No, not really, but winning is not necessary for you to make if the odds are greatly misplaced. For example, I think the odds for Borussia Dortmund at 40.0 are kinda ridiculous and will decrease over time, so that's an opportunity.

Inter Milan, as you said, is another one.

Manchester City is a bit underrated, but just a little.

no matter what the long-term bet is, i think if there’s a team with odds of over 25 to win a championship in any league or cup, you should just ignore it right away. a realistic target might be odds between 5 and 15, but 25 or higher is way too much. especially in the champions league, it’s simply impossible for teams with such high odds to make it past the quarterfinals. that’s because the gap between them and the top teams is so wide that in a potential matchup, especially one played over two legs, they’ll definitely be eliminated. this is an inevitable reality of the tournament.

I think the championship odds are very good. If I were to place a bet based on these odds, I’d choose Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. If I had to pick one more team, it would be Barcelona.
I don't think PSG will win the championship this year.
If I were to put 100k on each of these three teams separately, I’d make a substantial profit if one of them won—but that requires having a lot of money and the patience to wait 7 or 8 months.

Manchester City have tough games with Barcelona, PSG, Napoli and even teams like Porto or Sporting can surprise. Maresca certainly has the advantage of having reduced some players leaving more stable players on the pitch. As for their chances at UCL, I'm personally quite sceptical and can't expect much, at a minimum they can get through to the top 8.

Yes, they are very difficult but necessary matches. The first rounds of this new UCL format are impressive; I like it. In fact, this format would be ideal for a World Cup. However, what's being done now leaves the weaker teams with a lot of power simply because every match has to be won that is, every match should be like a final. That's what I like about it.

City has a great challenge ahead, as a PSG and a Barcelona on the rise offer a real test of their mettle. Furthermore, the emotions they will generate are something unique.

Looking at the challenges, Man City’s season is quite tough because since Pep Guardiola left and they were coached by Maresca, they haven’t looked very solid, and many still doubt Maresca’s ability to make Man City stronger. On top of that, several experienced Man City players have already moved to other clubs. Nothing is impossible in football. We all saw how Como suddenly became a strong team. Or a few years ago, we watched teams like Villarreal, Monaco, and Leipzig reach the semi-finals. What were the odds for those teams? Probably over 20, and they managed to climb high enough to almost reach the final.

Okay, maybe none of them won the championship, but it's not impossible; one day a team could play really well and win the cup. Every opposing team can make mistakes, and every mid-level team can play perfectly. It's not statistically impossible

I can't agree with your statistics. It seems very funny that you consider Arsenal to be the weakest of these teams. Arsenal are in a much stronger position than Barcelona and Real Madrid this season. I believe we can see Arsenal win this season. Arsenal have made every aspect of their team very strong during this season.

The season has just started and we can never say from these few matches that they will be able to maintain such performance throughout the season. Real Madrid's situation is looking good so far but with time, when we reach the middle of the season, we will be able to say which team is in a better position.

Two consecutive seasons, one team, a larger majority of the fans across last season wouldn't have believed they will go again to win it after the first one but they wowed us all. With the odds I'm seeing here, it means PSG is given the higher chance of winning again from the top 5 favourites you mentioned. I won't be surprised if they achieve it again for the third time, afterall they have the squad to keep on winning.

It is very true that nothing is impossible in football but what we should be considering is the form that particular team is before counting them among the team that will win. The only case I will count or see a team like Leicester city as you said for example, is when they have played the biggest teams and defeated them and still perform in other matches but if this is not seen I can then say it is impossible even though nothing is impossible because they need to show workings initially.

I am surprised that PSG is not on your favorites list. The team has been the UCL champion for the past two seasons. I am even more surprised that Arsenal is not on your list. Both of these teams played impressively last season and I would say Arsenal was a fairly consistent performer. Although PSG did not perform very well at the beginning of last season, they gradually became more aggressive and competed with Arsenal in the final and won the trophy. This season I see PSG's potential again because the team has added more talented players, especially I will talk about Ferran Torres. This center forward played very well for Barcelona last season. Arsenal could not win the UCL trophy last season due to their excessive focus on the EPL but their preparation is good this season.

Yes, you could try to get such a high fee for Borussia Dortmund. However, it is true that the chances are low when there is a team like Bayern Munich that has won the championship for too many consecutive years, at the moment they seem to be the fittest compared to all the others and it is no coincidence that they have the lowest odds. Wow, that’s a bold statement, buddy. But I agree about PSG, they didn’t even manage to earn full points in their first two games this season, settling for draws. As for Arsenal, though, I actually see them as my favorite. Yeah, they aren’t as productive as Bayern, Barcelona, and Real Madrid. But I believe Arsenal’s defense is a little better. Still, if we’re talking about which team I like best in terms of playing style, I personally choose Barcelona. However, my gut feeling tells me that Arteta and his team will achieve extraordinary results this season in the UCL.

football is very different now. as time goes on, we see fewer surprises. don’t you notice that, too? there were good teams and favorites before, too, but i think we used to see more surprise wins and championships. as the industry grows, there’s less room for surprises because the best teams are pulling further ahead. of course, when i say “impossible” i don’t mean a 0% chance, but we’re talking about a probability so low that it’s practically impossible.

PSG has the lower odds of winning the Champions League since they have been the champions for the last two seasons. PSG was considered due to the incredible performance they have shown in the last two seasons, it’s not by what they are playing this season. Sure, the odds do not stop any different teams from the Champions League. Sometimes the bookies can be wrong, perhaps a team like Manchester United or Liverpool will end up winning the Champions League but nobody can tell.

I have reduce my expectations for this season, I don’t think they have the quality to win the Champions League for the third time. You're right, and in this new format, notice that PSG has fallen a bit behind, only qualifying at the very end, and despite that, they've still won the championship. It's something that has a lot to do with the quirks of this tournament; everyone has the same level of opportunity to advance.

In fact, this format has almost knocked Real Madrid out, and that can happen because it's more demanding. Before, the groups were different, more similar to a World Cup format, but I like this new format because from the beginning, we'll see what the teams are capable of in the future.
