If you want to compare how strong these teams are relative to each other, City will be playing PSG in the Champions League this week, and if things stay as they are, I think City should be able to beat PSG.

City are set to face PSG, and after yesterday’s convincing win over Liverpool, the Citizens are clear favorites going into that match. I would prefer to wait for the game itself, but judging by how terrible the red side of Manchester has been, especially since Carrick secured a contract, I might just have to agree with whatever you've said. The fact that they couldn't even take all three points against a team with a man down on two separate occasions actually proves how bad they've been.

And aside what ATM achieved last season in terms of UCL performance, I think they're the far better side with a higher chance of winning the game tomorrow.

Atletico Madrid have been doing fairly well in La Liga but are yet to recover but then it seems the team will be favorites to win their second UEFA Champions League match of the season against Premier League club Manchester United.

Analyzing the performances of these two teams in the UEFA Champions League this season, we can be seen that Atletico Madrid lost their first match against Liverpool but Manchester United on the other hand won their first match 4-0 wins but the team is 13th in the Premier League. Manchester united vs Atletico Madrid is going to be a tight game, but Manchester United should win on a very good day. I will not want to use the weekend matches to decide who I think is the favourite amount them. Champions league game are always different vibe from the domestic league. In our previous discussion, I was talking about the number of goals both teams scored in their domestic leagues. The competition in the UCL is very different, and even teams that regularly score a lot of goals in their domestic leagues may not be able to do the same in the UCL. As for PSG's performance, they may not look consistent in ligue 1, but I think they are still performing at the same level as before in the UCL.

We shall get to see how strong they are this season in the champions league to know if they still have that potential for the trophy just like they had last season. The domestic league is a different game in this category, they may be at their best there as they’ve always been every season. I agree with you, I don’t consider PSG as one of the favorite teams to win the Champions League this season. They are struggling to win their league games. But they did really well in their last league game against Le Mans, they almost draw the game. Luis Enrique made an excellent substituted in the second half to brought in his best players after they conceded goal in 54 minutes to win the match.

Manchester City showed that they are capable to do a better this season. Manchester City won against Liverpool, but I think they won the game due to the red card. Liverpool had the chance to win the match, but they failed to score from their chances. PSG will find it difficult to play against this current Manchester City, it’s not going to be easy for PSG at Etihad. So, I will bet on Manchester City to win the game.

They have always been having a slow start in their previous two champions league winning campaigns and couple with their experience right now as the defending champions still with the same coach Luis Enrique, they still got it. The champions league is different from domestic league matches as we can see how PSG dismantled Slovan Bratislava 6:1 in their last champions league game, although many can argue that it was against a smaller team. The crazy thing about football is that Manchester United might luckily win Atletico de Madrid tomorrow with a 1-2 or 2-3 type of lead. Manchester United is funny club, when you expect the to win they won't, but when you don't expect them to play well or win , they will turn and win the game comfortably (example Manchester city and Arsenal last season).  Although Atletico de Madrid have the better chance of winning this game due to their recent and they are playing at home, surely De Madrid should be the favorites. For me  I will predict a draw game. But the fate of this game depends how  Simeone  tactics works tomorrow, whether he going to go for all out attack and press or sit back and wait for counter.

Manchester United has been really terrible, this is just the league phase of the tournament, if they survive now, i don't know how it will be for them to survive other rounds of the competition. United won't make the top 8 teams in the league phase, they will participate in the playoffs and qualify for the next round, that is where the actual competition begins.

Against Atletico Madrid tomorrow, United might escape with a tie if they are lucky to put themselves together.

Hope you are aware that Paris Saint-Germain played against a mediocre team in the first match of the UCL? Slovan Bratislava is not even a regular team in the Champions League hence the reason why PSG got an easy win with huge score. I agree that they may not suffer same predicament as they are experiencing in the French League but it's still same players that are playing same competition so we will have to wait till PSG start meeting regular UCL teams. They will be meeting Manchester City in their next UCL match, let's see how they can handle that because Manchester City has been in their best performance this season since they haven't lost or played draw in any of their matches.

PSG is just facing some setbacks in the French ligue, it's not really true that they are giving more priority to the Champions League. I know that they might be aiming to equal Real Madrid records of winning the Champions league for 3 consecutive seasons in a row, it's not bad though if they achieve it.

the ucl returns tomorrow night. galatasaray, representing turkey, will face barcelona, arguably the club in the best form right now. galatasaray has a very tough task ahead, and i don’t expect a win or even a draw. but what i want to see is a team that fights hard and stays in the game. no one can blame us for losing this match, but we need to at least put up a fight. there’s a world of difference in the quality of these two teams.

I would even say Atletico has a 60% chance of winning this match. Because the chances of Man United beating Atletico are very small, especially not only due to Man United's very poor performance, but also because they played so badly against Tottenham who were down to 10 men and still failed to maintain the lead. On top of that, this match will be played at Atletico home, so Man United chances of stealing a point against Atletico are very low. 

Moreover, Atletico always performs very well in the UCL, and their journey in the UCL last season was also very good, especially defeating Barcelona. Galatasaray at home are a very formidable team. They have a very solid fanbase behind them. No matter how good a team is, winning there is never easy. I think they have a chance, even though Barcelona are very good right now, but Gala has a very big chance tomorrow. Even if they don't win, they can get a draw. Barcelona is obviously the favorite, but without Raphinha, their chances have dropped a little. I will go for a GG in that game. I believe there is no way Gala won't score at home, and there is also no way Barcelona won't score. If we talk about a winner, then my money is on Barcelona, but I won't be betting on that. The GG is enough for me.
