As one of the teams that have defended the Champions League title two seasons in a row it feels they are still very worthy to be included in the list of favorites this season. The team's performance is still very good and they are quite capable of dominating the attack and winning the game in a very convincing way. The Champions League does not really care about the big name or superstars you have in your team, If you don't have a good game plan, you will get seriously hammered. Man City had everything to their advantage, the name, the crowd and every possible home benefits but it still wasn't enough for them to win because PSG came with a better game plan and the will to win. I wasn’t surprised though, when I saw the PSG lineup I knew there was going to be a serious problem for Manchester City, because 80% of players in the PSG team rested during the weekend league matches, while Manchester City played against Liverpool with full squad. So yes shouldn’t have expected top performance from tired players that just had 2-3 days to rest.

And not forget, PSG are the defending champions. so they have to prove a point which they did, they took Manchester City by surprise with early goals in the first have and before Manchester City could stabilise the game was already knead for them. the only team I see that will be able to try to stop this PSG team this season from winning it for the third time in a row is only Barcelona.

When a team scores first, they have the advantage to score more goals and that is exactly what happened when PSG scored the first, they immediately scored the second and went ahead to score the third before halftime. Just one night football has changed your perception on Paris Saint German, this is really an interesting one here. Manchester City has been playing a good football from the start of the season having won all their matches and having a perfect record, but I think that big performance from them only ends in the premier league and not here in the league of champions.
