Real Madrid have been going through a tough time for the past two seasons. They have made a huge change in the defensive side of the squad and the experienced manager Mourinho has been given the responsibility of the team. But we can see the results? The team and the matches are difficult by their poor performance against weak opponents. The match against Roma is a good example. How bad the team was in the position and the possibility of winning but I appreciate that they played in a fighting spirit especially after being behind 1-3. Real Madrid fans are expecting such a great performance and the team has shown that and maybe it will make them more confident in the next matches.

But the fear is that the weakness of Real Madrid defense is still almost the same as we saw last season. Mourinho needs to take effective steps to strengthen the team's defense and only then can they hope to win at least one trophy this season.

It looks to me as if it isn't Olise who gives that ball the direction towards the face of the other player, but the player from Viking who interfered with Olise's movement. Olise should just not grab the ball, that's true, but it seemed to me as if it wasn't his final hand movement that threw the ball, am I wrong? Now I can't find the link because all the other replays look like he did throw it against the face of that Viking player.

Manchester city is unpredictable and PSG is reliable, so I wasn't all that confidence about who would win the match but then, when PSG scored the three goals in the first half, that was when I knew the end has come for Manchester city in the match.

I also didn't like Donnarumma's performance, he made a save and then the ball went back, he hit it with the palm of his hand and that was very strange, i didn't like how he set up that save but also how he set up the game in general, overall they also had bad luck but Paris Saint-Germain were even better.

Just recently, Inter beat Udinese 5-3 after trailing 0-2, then, against Napoli, they were down 0-2 but came back to win 3-2, and against Roma, they were again trailing 0-2 but managed to salvage a 2-2 draw. In fact, this is three incredible saves in a row (if you only take Serie A into account), but no one really pays attention, Real have a special status

Most of the Champions League matches this week produced many goals which I think it's the beauty of the competition especially when both sides are actively scoring each other. There are some matches that I want to talk about which includes the matches between Vikings versus Bayern Munich and Roma versus Real Madrid. Firstly, the match between Vikings versus Bayern Munich  because I don't understand how a small team like that managed to score Bayern Munich 3 goals. Bayern Munich really needs to work on their defense so that they don't find themselves in such situation in their future UCL matches. Secondly, Roma versus Real Madrid - despite that Real Madrid won at last but it was careless of them to allow Roma to score them that number of goals before they woke up and started scoring back till the comeback.

In totality, I like how this weeks UCL matches played out because if you didn't win a bet on staking big teams to win, you may win with playing over 2.5 goals or more. People tends to win bets when goals are many in matches. As we look forward to the next UCL games, we hope that they will all exhibit same energy as they did this week.

I wouldn't blame Roma because all the three goals came from a cross. Two corners which were both scored with a header. You should know how difficult it is to stop a header. Real Madrid were in their UCL garments on that they because that's how they always display an incredible performance in the past. Roma forgot themselves that they are playing with Real Madrid.

If we talk about Fenerbahçe, they have many quality players in the squad of which Mason Greenwood and Romelu Lukaku are among the squad but it's astonishing that Aston Villa could win them with that high numbers of goals. Tammy Abraham seems to have found his talent at Aston Villa because he scored a brace, he looks like a promising player though. I don't know how he faded out because I remembered a time when he was doing good while at Chelsea but his name just went dead for some time now.

What's even wrong with Ederson, I thought that after his performance at Manchester City that he will do better in another club but here he is shamefully conceding as much as 6 goals, we will all blame the defenders as usual when there are some goals he should have saved.

I think you are underestimating Roma a bit. They are one of the top teams in Serie A, so scoring three goals against them is no easy task. Of course, Real Madrid need to be more consistent defensively if they want to win the Champions League, but conceding goals against a strong side like Roma doesn’t automatically mean they can’t win the competition. Real have the quality and experience to improve as the season goes on, so I wouldn’t write them off just yet.

Madrid made a comeback in even less time than when they played against Roma. Their comeback against Man City a few years ago might be considered iconic, even though Man City was at its peak under Pep Guardiola at that time.  

What I mean in the Roma vs Madrid match is that Roma didn’t waste their lead, but they couldn’t withstand the steady attacks from Madrid. Madrid is used to crucial matches because they are a club that has built its mentality automatically. So letting Madrid control the ball in the final minutes was definitely a mistake, especially since Madrid always has alternatives when they get stuck. In this match Mourinho used Arda as a deadly engine for attacks with his beautiful passes. This is clear from Madrid 3 goals, all starting from Arda Guler passes.

You of all people should know that Roma is in a very good form this season. perhaps you have not be following them up while playing in their domestic league, But from my observation/ experience I can clearly say that Roma is a strong team; for that I expect them to make things difficult for real madrid. Real Madrid has not been Real Madrid for over two - three seasons, I think everyone that knows about football knows of this for a fact. It is a night to remember especially if you look at their form in this  season alone, they are terrible no denying of that. You see how easily the club concedes goals, that is to show they are not that team. Roma was the team that didn't almost the playing and switched off in the last minutes of the match while Real Madrid took advantage, the players are there but the club is not getting it right with how they play and perform. I understand the point you made, talking about consistency, I will not be surprised if they go on to lose or draw in La liga or struggle to win as the case may be.
