Roma could not be considered a weak opponent this season. Moreover, it was their home match. Meanwhile, Mourinho is still struggling to bring consistency to Madrid's performance. Although Madrid scored four goals and secured a win, it is clear that their performance lacks stability.

Even though Roma has been so impressive this season, with the squad depth that Real Madrid has, they should be able to perform better than that. Being down 3-1 is something you wouldn't expect from a team as big as Real Madrid. Even though they eventually managed to catch up and secure the win, it doesn't exactly make their performance impressive in this match; in fact, it shows that they still struggle with consistency and have a lot of room for improvement. This is still a big job for Mourinho to improve Real Madrid's performance, and it probably won't be finished quickly.

Real Madrid, for me, is still not in the right shape to compete at a high level in this competition and even La Liga too, because if you look at the stats and playing form compared to their rivals in La Liga, then you would understand that this Roma game is just a lucky run for them although I will give Mourinho some credit for actually making those crucial substitutions that changed the game because Vini jnr this season has been nothing but a total joke with his performance and am still in shock why he starts most of their games. Mourinho just needs to handle things with firm grip so that Real Madrid will have any chance of winning any trophies this season.

This match was the best match of the last week of the Champions League. It was very easy for Roma to win the match, but Real Madrid surprised them in the last few minutes in such a way that before they could return to the match, the match was over and Real Madrid won by a 3-4 goal difference. When the scoreboard was 3-1, I was sure that Roma was going to win the match and Real Madrid was going to taste defeat in their second match of the Champions League. But they surprised me too.

Even if they won the last match, it is not something to celebrate, their performance in that match was very bad. With this team, I don't think they can go far in the Champions League or compete against strong teams. Madrid will probably lose very easily against PSG.

I'm not going to bet on the winner of the Champions League, the waiting time is too long and the odds are still small, although I myself do not know which team will be the champion, other teams are still potentially even though they are not seeded.

Bayern Munich are given odds @6.00 --- Real Madrid @8.00 in my opinion this is a gap.

Next week you will see the UCL defending champion team and the best performing team, the odds are almost the same, this is an interesting match, who wins can determine the odds.

even though both bayern munich and real madrid are pretty good teams, i don’t think either of them can win the champions league this season. maybe there’s a chance for bayern munich, but i don’t think real madrid can do it. they’ll probably be eliminated in the quarterfinals or, at most, the semifinals. there are teams in much better form than them right now, and real madrid isn’t even performing that well in la liga.

Perhaps it is indeed Barcelona that, at least for now, looks like the team capable of giving PSG a run for their money. Usually, I also count Arsenal among my perennial favorites. But this time, I have some doubts about Arsenal as well. In the Premier League, we’ve seen that Arsenal sometimes struggles to perform at their best.

But I’m hoping we’ll see a new champion in this year’s UCL. It would be pretty boring if, for example, PSG were to win it again.

That's true because right now Barcelona is the only club that's making us to doubt PSG from winning the trophy again because all the clubs I thought would compete are no longer strong, although Arsenal is still the same as they are but we already know that with the state of PSG Arsenal wouldn't win them even if they're to meet again in the finals, Real Madrid could have been another club with the players to be as competitive as PSG but I'm not sure they could do that even if they have not lost yet. If PSG missed the trophy this time Barcelona might be the next.

Arsenal and Barcelona are the two clubs capable of dealing with PSG based on their tactic. PSG won against Arsenal on penalties because, genuinely, Arsenal was supposed to win that final. But one thing led to another, which led to the penalty. Barcelona have scored more goals than PSG this season. Arsenal have conceded the fewest goals and have scored more goals from open play than they did last season. The team looks sharper in attack this season, with Odegaard coming back to form.

After the end of two rounds, things are getting clear about which team is having good results, but the worst things are happening for Serie A teams. Out of 4 teams, 3 are yet to win any game, which is ridiculous for Napoli and Inter Milan without any point, while AS Roma is having 1 point after ending on a draw against Fenerbahce in Turkey, and Como is the only team that has won the first game, but the result in the second game was not favorable for them.
The third round is going to be played a few days after. Most chances are that all Italian sides are going to have good results, which will give them a boost. As the hosts, Manchester United and AS Roma will be entertaining the bottom side Slovan Bratislava. After these games, Napoli and Inter Milan will also have home fixtures; it's going to be a good round for them, but they needed to show a good attacking performance for having good results; otherwise, things are going to be at the lowest level, which is surely not good for Italian soccer.

Not this season, we already see teams that have the potential to win the Champions League, I agree that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are in no way favorite to succeed as champions, the two teams have the worst defense for a big club contending for the Champions League.

What made Arsenal reach where they ended last Champions League final was basically their defense, and Bayern and Madrid lack that structure, they can easily be scored against, even when they can't stop scoring, it doesn't help if the goals will be canceled by them continuing to concede.

Real Madrid did surprised the world on that game, at first it was a Difficult one for Madrid which many had already given up but when the tone of the music changed the unexpected happened and Madrid surprised all by winning the game at last.
Among all the champions league games played last week,  I can boldly say that of Madrid was the toughest and most interesting one because of how competitive the game was especially at second half.
With this performance I can say Madrid is back on track and may be on there way to possess their possession and i don't think there is any team capable of stopping them including Barcelona.
