. So even in the UCL, they’re a force to be reckoned with. But beating Man Utd by such a wide margin was definitely completely unexpected. While I wasn’t surprised by Man Utd’s loss, I was surprised by the score.

Manchester United was really disappointing last night and I felt deep pity for their traveling fans that came over to Italy to watch their team beaten convincingly. I watched the game and what surprised me the most was their performance, like why would they be letting como to play freely without pressing them and making sure they dominated the ball?
But rather they went defensive without even trying to press and dictate the tempo of the game, it was really disappointing because I have not seen a worse performance in recent times than what they gave out yesterday .

If Michael Carrick is not careful, he might be sacked because the team is currently playing like a team with not manager, no playing pattern or system, they are just busy and be running like a headless chicken in the whole 90th minutes, it was really disappointing.

That was a very disappointing result for Manchester United fans as you can see The Man United coach Michael Carrick going towards their visiting fans and trying to apologize to them for the heavy defeat and disappointment.

I don’t know if this is similar to that of Manchester city earlier on in January when they played and lost 3:1to Bodo/Glimt in the champions league and the Manchester city players voluntarily decided to reimburse the traveling fans for their match tickets. Man united players should show remorse to the fans if they truly want to be better. I’ll be a bit surprised if Michael Carrick doesn’t get sacked after this very disappointing back to back champions league performances where they also lost to Atletico Madrid before this game against Como

Yeah, you're right. Fabregas has done great with Como, they're still doing well in their league having played 7 matches with 14 pts and sits 5th on the table. I don't think they're just an average team. In current form rating, they're far better than the struggling Manchester United who moves on from one defeat to another.

I think Carrick's work is done in Manchester United, It's crystal clear he cannot lead them to consistent good performances, not to mention trophies. I see a lot of lack of motivation in these players now compared to when he newly arrived. Seems he's having personal issues with a lot of them.

Slavia is obviously a small club what how well can they perform to meet up Arsenal's standard. At this point, it's embarrassing to identify Manchester united as one of the English giants. I don't know the purpose of their coming to champions league this season because I would really prefer my team to not qualify in the first place rather than to qualify and then end up this way getting humiliated by a team that just came on board. Something urgent needs to be done because United standard has dropped badly. Losing is not even the problem but how they're losing is annoying. No single creativity and no pressing. The quality gap is wide and clear. I'm not even talking about changing their coach when I said something needs to be done because the problem is certainly not from the coach.

The truth is that Manchester united can never be forgotten especially what they did in the past and the fact that this can not be forgotten gives their fans and some other people the mentality and feeling that they were not supposed to lose the game against Como because if you ask me, i will ask you who is Como to where Manchester united is? I wouldn’t say Vinicius had a bad game against Leipzig, he was involved in a lot of attacks and did some useful work as well. But I agree that Diamande was much more effective in a shorter amount of time than Vinicius. That’s why I think he has a very good chance of gradually pushing Vinicius out of Real Madrid’s starting lineup. I think that could happen if Diamande continues to perform at the same level over the next few games. And he’ll have a great opportunity to prove himself in El Clásico.

I'm not surprise to see Manchester United being humiliated 4-1 at the Lake of COMO. Common you don't expect Manchester United to be brave at away after all they're having a bad run this season. Being unable to win a game in their last 7 games in a row. Michael Carrick needs to go and the fans are tired of him sitting as the manager of the team, the fans feels his strategy is not effective and this alone is ruining the reputation of the club.

This is a game I enjoyed, Diamonde scored against his parent club with a legendary display. I think he's adjusted fully into the team and now giving Real Madrid a good return on their investment. I believe those who were pessimistic of Mourinho's tactics can go under the rug now. The team looks stronger now. Let's see how they fare in the upcoming el-classico in 3 days time.

Based on their performance last season, they certainly deserved to spend this season in the Champions League; however, they are not a team fully prepared for the competition this year. I feel like I’ve found the answer to why Manchester United is playing this way in the Como vs. Manchester United match. I can’t blame Carrick. It’s been clear to me all along—especially this season—that Carrick isn’t the one who sets Manchester United’s lineup across all competitions; rather, he simply gives instructions from the sidelines to each player in the starting lineup.

Carrick isn’t the type of coach who arbitrarily replaces a player who’s already established as a starter once that player has proven himself in a position.
Bruno played as a forward, Amad Dialo was benched, and Martinez didn’t play. On average, Manchester United’s players no longer seem to be giving their all when they play. The latter wasn’t played after criticizing management following their failure to win the last match before facing Como.
As for relegation, this team won’t be relegated because this is a business that benefits all parties.

And this is something people do alot, you will be talking with someone about the current performance of a club and they will start talking about the club achieved 100 years ago as if it's the same people that played for the club then still play for it now, Nigerians have a saying "I get am before no be property" and that's exactly what Manchester United is going through now, they were one of the biggest teams in England and even in Europe but now they are really on the low side, even a new team that just recently joined the country's first division will probably still beat Manchester United because at the end of the day, if you are not fit you are not fit.

Much of what has made a lot fans still living in that old glory delusion and fantasy about Manchester United is that they think it's still the club they've known for the decades. The reality is that it has become a very weak club that needs urgent overhauling right from ownership down to players, perhaps, just like Chelsea did.
It actually took Cesc Fàbregas order to his players to slow down on the game when they were already 4 goals up, before Manchester United were able to get a consolation goal in that game. This is how badly the United players performance has fallen and it might get worse should the right actions not taken.
