Yes, of course it happens, because one faces such a situation to test one's luck. Because maybe if I lose, then I go ahead to test my luck again because it seems that maybe I can win. But gambling platforms do not accept all these things in any way, rather they wait and see, the gambler keeps playing again and again and keeps losing. As a result, one has to come out of the gambling platform with the possibility of loss, but one should never get excited about this situation.
Rather, one should stay calm and suspend the bet and take a break from the gambling platform, then your profit will remain. So I say it is normal to face such a situation in the case of an overly greedy gambler.

That feeling is driven from the psychological fact that the money in your account as  bettor is your own and it's does not matter whether you have withdrawn it or not because you will always have the right to decide what to do with it because it is on your custody.
The fund staked on your running bet is at s 50/50 if it will come back to you or not. That is if you loose or win determines.
If you have used $10 dollar to accumulate $1000 on your winning, the total amount is automatically yours and you have the chance to walk away with it all and when you have lost some or all, you will still assume you lost such total amount of money because you formally had the chance to walk away with it and you will feel the pain of the lost.
But in the reality, you lost only the amount you deposited if you later lost all.

The problem is that when you're ahead, it's easy to stop thinking about protecting your profit and start thinking about how much more you could make. Winning multiple bets made one believe that they have understood the system and that the next winning is just round and before you realize yourself, everything is gone.

I had the same problem in my early days of gambling and the reason I kept on betting wasn't because I needed more money or had a target in mind, it was simply because I felt like I've cracked the art of winning lol

We need to just agree on the fact that walking away after making profit is one of the most difficult things to do as a gambler because the more you win there is a chance to that you would want to keep on trying to make more profits which can easily lead to more losses. I have been in such a situation many times. Sometimes I started with a win but could not return to profit because I could not stop gambling. Sometimes I started with a loss but was able to stop gambling with a profit. In fact, a gambler wins a sufficient amount but they cannot retain part of that profit because they did not stop gambling at the right time. Some regret that they lost a lot but if you review the statistics of those gamblers, you will see that their winnings were satisfactory but they did not stop gambling in the hope of winning more. Or because the amount of loss was high, they gambled more in an attempt to recover the lost funds.

Most people that play like the description are those that doesn’t have define limits when taking profit. Leaving the profit figure as unknown and just based on feelings always make gambler deceived on getting more due to greediness.

Those 1 last bet is always a trap to continue gambling which the casino like since gambler tend to lose in the long run as long as they keep betting.

This happens a lot especially when we had the opportunity to make profit and ended up blowing it due to greed, a lot of times it could be dissatisfaction with a particular outcome. I did! Still remember it when I am so happy during that time but like others Id still play expecting to win again and acted like I will win again so ending up my win has gone instead I also incurred losses that are more than that win. Actually the feeling of winning is so exciting that you wanted to do more perhaps in cases like that we should learn already that once weve got a good win thats it we withdraw and cash out no more hype gaming cause thats trigger potential loss.

Well technically, what you're describing is not winning at all but a loss. At the end of the day, if you walked home empty handed, or came back with what you went out with or maybe less, then you didn't win at all. So the feeling of losing is valid.

But the truth is, whether you walk away then or not, you're still going to loose everything and more if you'll still come back eventually. Let's say you walk away after winning $100, then you come back tomorrow, you'll probably still loose all if not more.

The only walking away that is safe is when you walk out forever after the win and decide not to come back again.

Yep, that often happened to me when I should stop gambling, my mind keeps telling me to place just one more bet until I end up breaking even neither losing or making a profit. This happens to many gamblers, I myself have also experienced it. Honestly, this is a sign of greed, and indiscipline among such gamblers. When you win a bet, and still end up loosing your wins to that gambling site, and in thesame day, possibly you didn't win anything. This is nothing but chasing more wins. If you are a disciplined gambler, when you win a bet, the right thing to do is to go home with your wins, and possibly continue some other time. But when you begin to look for more win, the more you loose the more you would want to recover losses not until you loose all your money.
Once, I have won a game, and instead of withdrawing my money, I left it in my gambling account, still ended up loosing the whole money. So to me, the habit of chasing more wins even after winning a bet is not advisable, because you might end up loosing all.

Indeed, once we allow greed to overrun our emotions then it will lead us to lose more most of the time, though by luck and by chance it may trigger something huge and if the gambler have the decency to quit it will give the chance to enjoy, but if the gambler push for more and follow the desire inside then most likely it will expect losing everything back.

That idea and hope of being lucky to win something large is what has been convincing them to keep on trying even when they have won something they could have settled for, but in most of the cases they end up losing that one which they had won, and most of them still don't learn from it. Some will overpush their limit, lose it all, and next time they will still repeat the same mistake. There are groups of gamblers who need to work on controlling their greed more than they need to work on managing their budget.
