Hello everyone, I want to warn you about fraud.

I registered with this bookmaker about a week ago, as I found information about betcoin.ag on a very well-known resource with an incredibly high reliability rating.

I deposited about $150, lost it, then lost some more, and then more—a total of about $700. Then came a winning streak, and I recovered my losses, bringing my balance to about $1,150 (including my $700 deposit). To avoid losing everything, I decided to withdraw $600. Smiley

And then, everything happened as standard, just like what is repeatedly described in complaints online... The withdrawal transaction was pending for 5 hours, so I wrote to support. Silence. At night, they sent a message saying I was required to complete KYC within 60 minutes. Obviously, they were hoping I would be asleep, but I was ready and completed the KYC.

After that, there was silence. In response to my second inquiry, they replied that they were checking something and would contact me later... Then my account was blocked. I wrote several more emails, and a day later, they replied that I am a "sports betting abuser," my account is blocked, and an investigation is underway to understand the full extent of my violations...

At first, I didn't believe it, but then I started carefully studying the reviews, disputes, and behavior of betcoin.ag.

I wrote a review on Trustpilot in the hope that they would reply and explain the reason for the blocking, but they flagged my review. However, I passed KYC on Trustpilot, and my review was reinstated. Yesterday, they filed a complaint claiming I was not their client. Trustpilot withdrew my review for the second time and asked me to provide documents, receipts, and proof of interaction with betcoin.ag. But my account is blocked, and I cannot provide screenshots of my deposits. There are many other reviews about them with a 1-star rating that have been blocked—it seems the scheme is working. If this isn't a scam, then what is a scam?

I studied their responses to claims and was surprised—they call everyone fraudsters, threaten people, and blackmail them, saying they will deduct money from any potential deposit refund because of the negative things written about them. In their responses to complaints, they write that they won't return anything because the user complained about them on the internet... You can find their rude replies right here on this forum yourself. If this isn't a scam, then what is a scam?

Generally, blocking an account, and therefore blocking access to payment data, is also a scam. I have read that other bookmakers using Betby simply freeze the bets and the balance until further notice; these guys, however, deny you access to the evidence itself...

And the most disgusting "scam" is their so-called investigations. They supposedly fight against new types of fraud. What could they possibly be investigating? What could they be fighting against? All sports bets go to Betby servers, and the results come from there as well. Their only role in all of this is to accept the deposit and then not return it.

Yes, I admit that it is my fault; I saw their high rating on a respected resource and didn't bother to check further. Do not make my mistakes. Just look deeper—even on this forum, their responses speak for themselves.

P.S. I still have the Betby Secret key in my browser. Has anyone tried asking them directly for information regarding bets and balance? It was explained to me that all the data is on their side, and that Betcoin and other providers only handle deposits and withdrawals. I can't find any information anywhere about this kind of experience—is it worth trying to contact them directly?

This does not sound good at all. I knew betcoin.ag as one of the oldest gambling platform around and they even had long running signature campaign in this forum. They have maintained a nice reputation here over the years. But your explanation actually says something else. If this is really happening with a player, regardless of if they are abuser or not, then this is not good. At first claiming you are a abuser, then claiming you are not their customer, giving 60 minutes to complete the KYC, all these things are pretty much red flags.

However, I won't judge them for now. I would love to hear from their official account as well, and then we could come to a conclusion. OP, did you created complaint thread anywhere like askgamblers or casinoguru?

I have already created a complaint on Casino Guru, and it began being reviewed today. I also managed to get my review back on Trustpilot; betcoin.ag told them I wasn't their client, but the Trustpilot team asked me for all available proof of my connection to the platform and reinstated my review for publication.

Thank you for your interest in my problem.

very unlikely they will give you anything, betby operates on a B2B model, so their client is the casino not you.

I have already created a complaint on Casino Guru
your complaint will probably get rejected as casino.guru doesn't deal with sports betting cases. you should submit one with askgamblers.

whether you got scammed or not, i will hold off on making any judgment until i see what betcoin.ag has to say and read their side of the story.

Where you have received this message about "KYC in 1 hour"?
For sure providing data/proofs on what happens could provide a first help but  I don't think this is a "selective scam" or whatever, probably there was already a "kind of issue" or ... what type of bets you make? Winning streaks in what kind of sport/gambling activity?
I am not surprised they have all in place for avoid these issues...not based specifically to a casino/bookmaker/provider.

I have attached screenshots to my first post, which include a copy of the email where they demand KYC verification within an hour. This issue has already been discussed on this forum; another victim has mentioned it before.

There is also a review on Trustpilot where someone describes receiving a verification request in the middle of the night while they were sleeping, and they were subsequently banned for failing to respond in time Smiley

I only ever place bets on baseball, cricket, and esports. I stick to top-tier matches, and I haven't placed that many bets in total yet Smiley

Regarding Betby, I have sought some advice, and it turns out that all bets are processed entirely on their end—the bookmaker isn't involved beyond handling deposits. I plan to gather more information about betcoin.ag and reach out to Betby on X (Twitter) to report this issue and request my betting history and balance. It is honestly quite strange that they have integrated their product onto a site that gets, at most, 50 real visitors per day...

Casino.guru doesn't really accept sports betting related cases, so it will probably get rejected, as mentioned by Zwei. Betcoin.ag's representative is pretty active here in the forum and does address scam accusations created against them, so you'll probably hear about them soon enough.

My complaint to Casino Guru raises more questions about their platform. It was there that I found betcoin.ag, which they have given an incredible rating.

Of course, it was my fault for not doing my research before making a deposit, but I would like to get a few answers from them regarding the questions I’ve prepared.

I am currently indexing BetCoin for my v.2 list, I believe this is your case on CG: https://casino.guru/complaints/betcoin-ag-casino-player-s-account-has-been-closed-14 ?

With that verdict they have and/or as your situation is sports-related, where CG does not facilitate mediation, are you planning on other ADR?

I don't know if there's any point to this... betcoin.ag is more like a phishing site right now. They only get a few visits a month, and anyone who makes a deposit just falls into a trap set by Casino Guru. They give them a 9.3 rating and rate their financial safety as excellent, all for a site with an average visit duration of 3 seconds. Despite all my arguments and evidence, Casino Guru simply deleted my review and banned me from their forum.

Basically, I've accepted it; I just ran into a scam, which happens with crypto payments. I left reviews about Betcoin and Casino Guru on Trustpilot and managed to keep them up—these scammers constantly tried to dispute them, but I provided proof.

If my situation can help the community, I'm willing to file complaints wherever necessary.

You are a nutjob. Certified insane. We had someone win €250k last week in casino. No issues. Last month we had someone win €800k. No issues. This is a you issue. Stop scamming sportsbooks.

Why are you insulting me? You probably bought yourself food with the $700 I deposited. You should respect the hand that feeds you. It sickens me to even message you. More than anything in life, I despise petty, worthless scammers...

P.S. You might as well have claimed you flew to the moon last week—paired with the talk about 'winnings', it would have looked even more ridiculous.

Well, statistically and purely talking about data and number, in my v.2 list of casinos disputes, BetCoin is still amongst the few with highest resolution status. They currently only have two "in progress" open scam accusation that needs to be deescalated. One is yours. And we need your kind information of how shall you proceed now that CG refused, so I can update the list to the best reflection of current status.

So?

If you deal with statistics and pure numbers, I think you can calculate based on their traffic screenshot that there were only 2 users in the last month, which is exactly why you have 2 complaints.

As for further steps, I am currently overwhelmed with work. I think I will free up in about 10 days and will deal with the complaints then.

"statistics" "pure numbers" Whoa guys, we have a real scientist here. With words that that, how can we not believe him? Tell you what, @betSerb. You take as long as you need. We recommend making the complaint sooner than later, because of mediation standards. But you go to whoever you want and we will crush you in mediation. You will run away with your scammer tail between your legs and have to create a brand new account next time you get caught cheating. Regarding the accuracy of your numbers, you lose all credibility here. We have run multiple promos on this site within the last month that required Betcoin membership, with around 50 participants, just from these 2 promos. Now, I am no scientist, but I did crunch some numbers and it turns out 50>2. But wait, there's more. The tens of thousands of regular users, from our 13 years in existence. So perhaps, your fake scammer data, just shows everyone what you are, a fake scammer. Quit talking shit. Let's do mediation, or you are just a little scammer worm.

Go to Similarweb, enter the URL of your scam site, and it will show you the statistics. 2 people a month—and that's me being generous Smiley Calculate it yourself, though you already know the real numbers anyway.

Also, you completely give yourself away with your messages; you insult everyone you've scammed. No self-respecting casino would ever act like that! And all your arguments about syndicates, known scammers, worms, tens of thousands of users, and other ridiculous nonsense just prove that you're either a school kid or simply not a very smart person. Did I fake your dead social media accounts too? Why would I even need to do that?

Do not write to me anymore. I genuinely find it very unpleasant to even reply to you.

You’ve completely lost your grip on logic. I didn't cause you any damages; *you* are the one who stole the $700 I deposited into your scam project. And that's not even mentioning my winnings.

You're a weak debater, and arguing with you is just boring... But the fact that you keep replying and bumping our thread to the top of the forum is great... I doubt you're smart enough to realize that, though Smiley

We aren't worried about it. Our customers and this community love us. All the hate you are receiving, they receive 10x in love. Our service is consistently rated the best in the industry.

The only person who looks like a fool is you. Because you filled this accusation but are too scared to go up against us in mediation, because you know that we will destroy you. Until then, there is nothing you can say that will redeem you and you will forever be known as a scammer to all.
