3. Do you still place more value on crypto despite its short falling?
4. What is the advantage of the deep outside buying?

You did not mention bitcoin, but you have to mention the coin that you want people to discuss about on this thread. If it is bitcoin, the price will rise again, you can easily know from bitcoin adoption.

Many people including big companies like Blackrock are saying good things about bitcoin.

If you are referring to altcoins, you will need to mention their names. There are too many altcoins and most of them will not get to all-time high.

There's no advantage of the dip for you if you don't buy.

From past records it shows that bitcoin price always recover after reaching the bottom line of the dip and move slowly till the halving which the reward for miners will be halve of what the use to get. The halving triggers the bull run and if the bull market comes, Bitcoin price always make a new ATH and this has never failed since the history of bitcoin so we believe in the repeated pattern overtime even though, we know that as time passes on the volatility reduces.

I place more value on only bitcoin not shitcoins. The dip is an opportunity to buy more bitcoin at a cheaper rate provided you are buying from your discretionary income and not a time to panic.

So you believe is good time to buy more, the dip may significantly increase without possible bulls for the moment. And there is no special period or calendar to assume when the bearings will hover to bullish moment.

As I've been saying, many people will see this period as a good time to add to their portfolio but there are still those investors who will be a little sceptic concerning this points you raised. Bitcoin gas struggled to cross the $75-80k threshold in a while now and even though this isn't the first time such a situation is being experienced, many will want a sort of semblance in the market before they the their next step.

Oi what are you buying Huh

You kept emphasizing on buying without  telling us what you are buying exactly, alll you mentioned was "crypto ".
Look! You're  responsible for all your action in this space , if you're  buying Bitcoin then Buying the Dip this period  is the perfect time to invest more in Bitcoin.

Think of it like getting Bitcoin at a discount preço. If you  don't  feel like investing anymore then wait for recovery and pull out , it’s your  choice mate!

The market is unpredictable making it very difficult to know when the bear market will come to an end and when the bullish period will start. This is why you don't need to time the market or think of buying to make fast profit but have a long term investment mindset and use DCA to buy whenever, you have extra funds. See bitcoin as a store of value for your funds instead of keeping your savings in fiat.

One need to ask this question because from my last post I complain lost much on btc and to be guided on this crypto journey.
Considering the fact that many people have lost this period do you still consider it wise to buy the dip?

Questions;
1. What if the deep never return?
2. What really determines it return?
3. Do you still place more value on crypto despite its short falling?
4. What is the advantage of the deep outside buying?

Answers respected.

1. There will always be a bear and bull season. Be patient; the market will recover.

2. The forces of demand and supply largely determine the price of Bitcoin. The price goes up when inflows exceed outflows.

3. Bitcoin, not altcoins, is one of the safest and most dependable assets for me. Nothing is stopping me from accumulating and hodling.

4. Let me refer you to a thread that you created: Advantage of BTC Falling

If there are people could predict those things you asked here for sure that they could earn easy richest from trading Bitcoin.

But its impossible to spot those things that you want to know. But its good that you tried to gather some information about those questions what you brought here, since somehow you can read up the sentiments of people.

But also if you really trust Bitcoin you should buy whatever price occur, always treat those dumps as good opportunity to accumulate and not something to get scared on.

If you haven't realized the loss, you have no losses. The current portfolio depreciation is only formal, on paper (unless a sale has been made).

Considering the fact that many people have lost this period do you still consider it wise to buy the dip?
That's how the market works: if someone loses during a falling, someone else (the counterparty) makes money on that. Of course, it's smart to buy now, as that's the fundamental tenet of the crypto market: buy when others are selling (during a falling).

Questions;
1. What if the deep never return?
First time, right? Smiley For beginners, it always seems like this fall is the last and irreversible one. Smiley It's okay, you'll get used to it.

2. What really determines it return?
Change of trend and prevalence of purchases over sales.

3. Do you still place more value on crypto despite its short falling?
This fall (like all previous ones) is temporary and doesn't change the “value” of cryptocurrencies.

What if is just a question many investors ask themselves and then after, they pull the plugs. You are already in loss, do you want to sell in loss? This isn't even the time to panic. Nobody can tell you when price will eventually start buying back, but it will definitely. It's so funny how many people gets excited when price is bullish but a little dump and we are all panicking, wanting to fold hands in fear that price might never return. It's just not how a real bitcoin investor think. This should be the time for many who missed out to buy and be patient. Instead majority are scared already that bitcoin is going to a journey to never return. This isn't even the first dip we have seen and will not be the last. So instead of panicking buy the dip and be patient..

Go back to look at early bitcoin investors and you will find something that's common about them which is the fact that most of them asked themselves these kind of questions and gave themselves negative responses that made it deficult for them to continue buying more chunk of bitcoin because they thought bitcoin wouldn't recover afterwards.

If you're already invested, you should know that DIP only presents better buying opportunity. When the market is down, you're at least opportined to buy your bitcoin at a much cheaper rate and with that, when the market recovers you stand right gain more. Want to know how to manage your buy decision in the midst of the different circumstances you will find yourself? Decide how long you're going to assign as the period for your accumulation. During that period, your goal should be on how best to stack more bitcoin and not that you're considering selling at a loss because you're likely unsure of the future.

Assuming that every price drop is an opportunity to buy is one mistake a lot in the crypto market make. A dip can only be considered as a good opportunity to buy if you're buying an asset that's proven to have a long-term value especially Bitcoin.

If you're buying any dip that's not Bitcoin, you're obviously taking a huge risk that can make or mar your portfolio. No one can accurately predict when the market has reached the absolute bottom so if your plan is to find the exact lowest point, you might end up not buying at a good entry point.

2. What really determines it return?
Returns are majorly determined by market demand, sentiment, adoption, investor confidence and the broader economy so you can buy dip that'll end up not recovering.

One need to ask this question because from my last post I complain lost much on btc and to be guided on this crypto journey.
No, if what you invested in is real BTC, you dont make a loss. What you'll have is an unrealized loss, and you can only make losses when you choose to sell during the dip market.
I believe the major reason for your loss is a lack of understanding of how the market works, not BTC.

Considering the fact that many people have lost this period do you still consider it wise to buy the dip?
No one really lost this period either. What they also have is an unrealized loss, nd those that understand the benefit of this current dip market are using DC to accumulate BTC for the next bull market.
My answer to your question is yes. It is wise to double buy this period if you have the capacity.

1. What if the deep never return?
2. What really determines it return?
The market is still replicating the 4 years circle and halving introduced by Satoshi to control BTC market inflation, which is 12 months max for market correction (dump), and we're currently in the correction phase.

3. Do you still place more value on crypto despite its short falling?
4. What is the advantage of the deep outside buying?

Answers respected.

Not on ll crypto, but i place more value on BTC, despite the dump, because it is the opportunity phase in the market to get BTC cheap.
The advantage of the dip is that it chases out the weak hand, i believe it also provides a healthier market cycle, good onchain metrics, and mempool.

I haven't looked into your previous experience much, so I might be missing a few things. So...
What % of your total wealth was lost? "much" is relative.
What was your approach? Long-term investing, active trading, or...

The best advice for failure is to evaluate, and you can start with the answers to the questions above.

From bitcoin history the prices always recovers and creates new ATHs, you only need to be patient. I don't place much faith on other crypto assets, but only on bitcoin. Others may fall and never rise back and some are pump and dump shitcoins, but bitcoin is different. You should have a long-term plan if you want to record success in bitcoin. The advantage of dips is that it crashes the price of bitcoin, thereby helping us investors to buy more quantities at a cheaper price. Do not forget to buy only from your discretionary income and only invest what you can afford to loose.

It is wise to buy the dip but you must know how much money you can use and allocating to buy Bitcoin. You can't just use your income to buy without manage or allocate with other needs.

The answer is uncertainty because no one knows what will happens later but those who follow Bitcoin journey believes that after the dip, the time to rise will comes. So they prepare themselves in this dip by buying Bitcoin and hodl.

I still placed more value on crypto because I believe this deep is temporary and will changing. I don't know how long but that will comes and gives me more chances to profits.

The advantage of the deep buying is you gets a lower price and have possibilities to sell at a high price. Many people wants to get lower prices but they miss the time because no one know when the dip come and they could only place their buy order.

The price drop on Bitcoin is not new today, after every bull market, Bitcoin price is dumped. Which is happening at the moment because 2025 was the bull season for Bitcoin, during this time the price of Bitcoin rose considerably but now it is the middle of 2026. Bitcoin price is being corrected which has happened in the past too, but if you notice the dumping of Bitcoin price towards the end of 2022 then of course the current time is nothing compared to that.
So I never get disappointed when I see the dumping of Bitcoin price, but rather I think about the future of Bitcoin. Because this is the only good opportunity to buy Bitcoin, so if the price of Bitcoin is dumped, you should not panic but rather hold Bitcoin for the future.

So you believe is good time to buy more, the dip may significantly increase without possible bulls for the moment. And there is no special period or calendar to assume when the bearings will hover to bullish moment.

Buy what exactly?  If you are talking about Bitcoin, then yeah, there is never a perfect calendar or a bat-signal that tells us exactly when the bear market is going to pivot into a bull run.

If you do choose to accumulate here, you have to be totally at peace with the fact that your portfolio might look ugly and stay deeply in the red for a long time.  Personally, I look at these flat, ugly, directionless phases as a patience test.  If you actually believe in the long-term utility of a specific asset, like Bitcoin, then buying during these depressing periods is exactly how you win in the long run.  But if you are just looking for a quick rush or trying to guess the exact moment things will reverse, you are going to burn yourself.

This is correct that price of Bitcoin went extraordinary high in start of Q4 2025 and since then price is going down. We have seen many times in the past that Bitcoin price takes correction after every bull run and same is the case now. Key takeaway is that if price is going down then it must be taken as an opportunity to buy Bitcoin because Bitcoin has the capability to recover its price. There are genuine investors who are busy buying Bitcoin right now and they will go bullish in buying bitcoin if price goes toward $50,000.
