Hi,
Our Ethereum I account was banned and our posts were deleted because some users suspected the project of malware and phishing:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5586698.0I would like to respond to that thread and explain why these accusations are incorrect. I also hope to have our account unbanned and our ANN thread restored to the Bitcointalk Altcoins section.
They only provide an unknown EVM network added to users’ wallets. Connecting a wallet to an RPC controlled by this new project poses a security risk, as it could be used for phishing and lead to the theft of wallet assets.
First of all, our website
does not ask users to enter their seed phrases or any personal information. It only optionally offers to add our network to a wallet via the wallet connection feature. It never asks users to sign any transactions. Furthermore, the RPC can be added manually without connecting a wallet at all.
If someone is still concerned, they can use an empty wallet. Many legitimate blockchain projects provide custom RPC networks. Why should this be considered a problem in our case?
Additional Notes: Also, when examining their explorer (explorer.ethereum-2.org), it is not a real blockchain but just a template. By searching for a transaction or any wallet address in a real blockchain explorer like Etherscan and blockscout.com, no results are shown.
This is because
Ethereum I is a separate blockchain and has no connection to Ethereum. Naturally, Ethereum transactions will not appear in our explorer, just as they would not appear on BNB Chain or any other independent blockchain.
Response to the comments:
No, we are not scammers. We experienced branding issues because another project was using a similar name, so we decided to rebrand. Unfortunately, our account and posts were removed without any warning or explanation. Since we had no way of knowing how to resolve the issue, we proceeded with the rebrand and created a new account.
Again, we are building our own blockchain, our own products, and our own community. We have no connection with Ethereum or any other blockchain project, nor are we attempting to infringe on anyone's intellectual property.
