Scores have been updated for the lookup utility. Going forward I will try to do this about once a month, so accounts with sigbans that are actively trying to improve can monitor their progress. Don't be discouraged if you've been trying to improve but the score doesn't yet reflect it. Its only been 2 weeks since we started, and it might take 20-30 substantially better posts to have an impact. Feel free to send me a PM if you think something is off or have doubts about the accuracy of your score. Thanks.

The matter of observation is important and urgent so it is commendable that you are moving forward in that direction in a well-organized way. However, here I would like to ask you one more thing. That is, if SigBan accounts continue to write good quality posts and their progress remains good then if any account with SigBan makes a humble request, will its punishment be reduced?

No. Anyone can make a request but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be approved.

Because a few days ago before the update, the score I had was 25%, but when I checked the score this morning it dropped to 10%. Is this just an adjustment? because some scores in my local members are unavailable, or Score: Not enough data

Your score didn't drop, it went up. You went from the top 25% to the top 10%. Which suggests you were already close to the top 10% before. Yeah some local board posters no longer have scores, and this is because the majority of their recent posts are not in English or are too short to get counted. They likely shouldn't have had scores in the first place. All posts counted for the analysis must be in English, but sometimes foreign language posts slipped through, and this caused inaccurate scores to be generated for ~60 accounts. This issue has been fixed.

Before the update, it was showing couple things to improve with my account, and upon momentary reflection those were found to be correct (impressive!), and I did change my posting habits a bit and after the update, I am already good — I mean to say, that was real quick!

Thanks nutildah , I didn't pay attention to the Top 10% words, but only focused on the decrease in numbers where I saw those who were affected by the low score of 10%.Yeah some local board posters no longer have scores, and this is because the majority of their recent posts are not in English or are too short to get counted. So now the analysis does not only calculate the quality of English posts, Some foreign languages are also analyzed accurately? Because previously some of the people I know who were active locally had a fairly low score, even though they were quite active locally with good post quality.

I already shared the list of scores in our Local discussion since both of us from the same local board and someone is also asking about the list score in our local board. Here, you can see the list of scores from the health score tools. From highest to lowest: - Elite Poster (Top 10% of active posters)
- Good (Top 25% of active posters)
- Average (Middle 50% of active posters)
- Needs Improvement (Lowest 10% of active posters)
- Needs Serious Improvement (Lowest 5% of active posters)
Congrats anyway on the rank-up score!

Hi nutildah I want to ask you few questions. First those becoming an Elite Poster (Top 10% of active posters) has anything to do with rank or is just basically on how good and educative your posts are. The reason why I’m asking is because I have gone through many members account using https://postflayer.onrender.com and it looks like it’s only legendary members that has achieved the Elite Poster (Top 10% of active posters). Lastly, is it still possible for those in the following levels to be given a signature ban or only those who are below this levels listed. * Elite Poster (Top 10% of active posters) * Good (Top 25% of active posters) * Average (Middle 50% of active posters) * Needs Improvement (Lowest 10% of active posters)

The number of accounts you ran through the post-health checker may have not been sufficient - it's listed me as 10%, and I'm not of Legendary rank.

Neither. It just means your posts don't need improvement.
No category is sigban-exempt, but accounts in the "Needs Improvement" category are more likely to receive sigbans than the others. If your score is suspiciously high - higher than you know you deserve - that might also be a problem. So high score does not necessarily equal good or safe.

So high score does not necessarily equal good or safe.
If high score does not necessarily equal good or safe. Then what is the essence of having a high score or developing to have a higher score? I thought the post-health checker helps to identify those that are good quality posters and those that are low quality posters. If those with high score as identified by the post-health checker are not good or safe, then who are good posters and who are safe?

If those with high score as identified by the post-health checker are not good or safe, then who are good posters and who are safe? I am not nutildah but I would advise to take it as an approximate indicator of how you are doing. I doubt he would ever say who is safe because that defeats the point of signature bans for reasons I will explain below. I would argue common sense is an even stronger indicator. For example. If you really need to check your score every few days then you are probably doing way too much 'competing' with others or way too little trying really hard to lay in the 'safe' range. If there was a level exempt from bans then all Shit posters would do the minimum effort to stick to that safe level all the time. Ask your self why you have an urge to check the score. 'Competing' is probably not bad. My closest example is fillippone, he 'competed' for most Merited account. I can not really open his post history and find a Shit post or non sense at all. But sticking to a safe level should be bad. Everyone not being safe or exempt from a signature ban actually helps both nutildah and Bitcoin Talk. And it makes sense too. No one can stop the same person I gave as an example above, fillippone, from burst posting, Shit posting, spamming et cetera from tomorrow on. It is his choice and nutildah should have the power to decide an Elite Level can drop right in to the signature banned list immediately.

Your reasoning and argument on why nutildah should not say who is say is interesting. I understand your point however, you said competing is probably not bad, and you gave an example on how fillippone competed for most Merited account. I think that competition made him to always post quality and educative posts that will earn him merit. When someone is trying to achieve a certain goal or level, he or she puts in his or her best to achieve it. If members should know the level at which they can be safe, it will help them improve and become better. The forum is not looking for a way to chase people away or stop them from being active. The management are only trying to keep the forum clean and make sure that members here are posting good, educative, informative and helpful content. The post-health checker was created to help members know how good or bad their posts are and the areas they need improvement. So even the post-health checker helps to inform those who are not safe to improve so they can be safe. So nutildah saying who’s safe those not defeat the point of signature ban, because the signature ban was designed to make people improve in their writing. Or was it created for another reason apart from helping people improve? Lastly, when no one is excepted, even the good and quality posters. How will members trust the credibility of the signature ban process. I will end with this, the signature ban was created to help improve the post quality of members in this forum. And what ever will help people improve should be encouraged.

It's sad to find out that I got a signature ban today. I feel myself lucky as it's a short-term ban. Can the quality posters of the forum tell me where I've made a mistake by analyzing my last posts? Because I don't think that I'm at fault and this is even worse. Because I'll get another ban if I continue making posts in the same way. Can you help me with this situation?

Because I don't think that I'm at fault and this is even worse. Because I'll get another ban if I continue making posts in the same way. Can you help me with this situation? It is always the story, you have to be serious with the way that you self-asses. Raise your standards up high, don't keep them low. Most of your posts are: very short, generic, in a pattern. Your post history looks exactly like a user who is putting little effort and is posting primarily to earn money. In the last few pages there isn't any significant post at all, they are more or less the same. Compare your own post history with the post history of this user: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=85033;sa=showPosts. The bans have nothing to do with where you are posting and technical knowledge, they are related primarily to the quality of your posts and the effort that you put into them. Some of my own or d5000's posts take longer to write than your whole last few pages of posts combined. Some very good posts can take a lot longer than an hour to prepare and edit, very big threads can take even several days of work to prepare over the course of weeks or months -- that is the amount of work that it took to get our one combined thread to be created.
Lastly, when no one is excepted, even the good and quality posters. How will members trust the credibility of the signature ban process. I will end with this, the signature ban was created to help improve the post quality of members in this forum. And what ever will help people improve should be encouraged.
It has been going quite well, there has not been a single controversial or questionable decision so far. Some idiots defending a farmer from their own tribe does not make something a controversial decision, therefore there have been no such cases.

According to the post-health checker, this are the areas you need improvement. Areas of Improvement ---------------------
Your writing is clear but your posts are often deep in threads where they are less likely to be read or appreciated.
You have the writing skills to produce engaging content but your posts are often shallow. Try strengthening your wording to make a stronger impact.I went through your account. You post more in gambling board, and those posts in gambling boards are deep in threads where they are less likely to be read or appreciated. Same thing the post-health checker pointed out. So write more in threads that are new, especially threads that are not more than 10 pages, and your posts should be educative, informative and readable.

Lastly, when no one is excepted, even the good and quality posters.
If you stick to the forum rules then you are exempted. How will members trust the credibility of the signature ban process.
I believe that's the essence of this thread even if now it's filled with off topic. Sigban doesn't stop you from posting and if you believe it's not justified Other people not excluding moderators can review it and judge your Case. I will end with this, the signature ban was created to help improve the post quality of members in this forum. And what ever will help people improve should be encouraged. I could be wrong but it's to punish violators and the appeal thread is to give a second chance. Improving the forum is a great after effect. I believe as time goes on The rate at which people face sigbans would reduce as they try to improve. it's not absolute hence why there's manual review What it tracks it's limited.
