These people that are addicted to gambling are not fully aware of how deep they may have gone into gambling until they start to think and ask questions about their continuous loses in gambling. I am trying to get something straight for here about those who are addicted to gambling do have same characteristics? I have a friend who is so much attached to gambling and everyone around him knows it was an addiction and when they try to talk to him in regarding the way and manned he is putting much interest to gambling he picks offences and stops to be talking to people because they are like trying to make him understand that his gambling habits is becoming excessive.

Some addicted gamblers don’t want to be corrected, they don’t want to admit that they are doing the wrong thing, so anyone that tries to correct them, they do end up getting angry just because you trying to tell them what they are doing is wrong. No matter how you advise people like this, they not going to listen to you, some of them might just stop taking to you just because you are trying to guide them. Whenever you talk to someone about their gambling activities, and the person get’s angry, then you just have to leave the person, people like that are not just going to change, until they have lost so much amount of money.

You are wrong on this, even though getting addicted and not being disciplined is their fault not every gambling addict are unworthy of life. There are some that genuinely wants to quit but the will to Break out of the addiction is very faint. No one is really happy losing money, being it in gambling or not. So I think for a Gambler who is already losing, the aggressive character is normal. Though there are other thing that also tend to trigger these aggression, let say maybe a gambler is gambling with money that he can’t afford to lose, money that is meant to be use for another thing instead of gambling.

A smart gambler is the one who actually knows the funds to gamble with, such gamblers can hardly be seen with aggressive character. I agree, not everyone who is addicted is despicable. I've known a person who is addicted to gambling but family oriented and can support his gambling addiction. Not every addicts are a bad apple, it is always the point of view of the viewer on how he/she sees an addict. Most of us based our opinions on our experience and I have bad and good friends who are addicted to gambling and I can tell that not everyone is unmanageable.

One bad trait that I can combo with gambling addiction is drugs that comes along with aggression toward others when in bad mood, it's really really bad since I have a friend that had those worst combo of addiction. I despised him until he changed for his own good.

Some people who are addicted don't want to listen because they believe what they are doing is right. So, anyone who tries to correct them is always seen as an enemy.It happened to me some years back. The way I was gambling, my friends noticed that I was addicted, but I always told them that I wasn't. As they continued advising me to limit my gambling activities, I stopped talking to one of them because I saw him as someone who was against me. I believed he didn't understand what he was saying because I thought that if I kept playing, I would eventually win a big amount of money one day and I did not notice of my addiction but I finally realized that I was addicted when I used money that someone had kept with me to gamble. After losing it, I had no way to pay it back. That was when I went to meet the same friends who had always been advising me. Together we discussed how I could repay the money because I knew the kind of person the owner was.They sat me down, advised me again and gradually I stopped gambling for some time. Although I later started gambling again, I no longer gamble recklessly like I used to be before.

That two differentiations of being happy and sad. Happy when we keep on winning is a normal reaction and sadness or being frustration when the constant losing keeps on happening. But if someone becomes too aggressive, isn't it that's the real attitude of that gambler? The frustration that they show is also normal to be shown but if that has become a habit and that's how they're living with it seems to be a wrong reaction and needs to be changed. Because if not changed, there can be a consequence that could lead to bad interaction with other people.
