Scammed by a Bitcoin casino - Betco.ag

Word of warning
Stay away from betco.ag

I deposited via crypto there and  I won $29.8k usd there on live roulette. I had it on Authority from their management it was okay to use a VPN earlier in the year.

Recently I played without a vpn and won around $15k kept it in my balance then proceeded to play pragmatic play using a VPN as it wasnt allowed in my location, I hit on one spin $14.9k and got my balance up to $29.8k usd. Tried to withdraw, they kept me on hold for weeks to tell me the software provider was carrying out a review of my win, I think it was an excuse by Betco.ag to try void my winnings anyway they can. I should have at least got half of my winning if not all won fairly.

They completely depleted my balance and now ignoring emails and live chat for me.

I guess its a learning curve. Posted on trust pilot still gotta update the review  with the final  outcome. But yeah stay well away. Posted on a few of the casino forums too.

The thread should move into the scam accusation board from the Bitcoin discussion board. Hope the moderator will handle this. According to you, your balance went to zero? And they are also not responding. Have you abused their system somehow? Also, could you follow the scam accusations standard from the pinned post? It will help you to get the solution.

However, where have you raised concerns? What does mean casino forums? Are you referring to casino mediators? Then have you raised concerns on AskGambler and Casino Guru? If not, then you may proceed there, and probably the casino will have to comply with them. The forum isn’t a mediator and can’t do much for you except draw attention from the casino if it exists on the forum.

For your info, you haven’t shared your username. So how would the team work on your issues?

If Betco's support or management really allowed you to use VPN, then there shouldn't be such problem, imo.

Well, do you have any evidence regarding this? such as a screenshot of that email, live chat or ticket number, please share it. Because Betco's current Terms of Service clearly states that use of VPN or location masking software is prohibited. And it can even lead to account suspension. So if they have given you exceptional permission in writing before, then they should explain it.

This is the first time I have heard about this casino. I doubt OP will be back here to update this thread, and it won't have any impact even if he updates this accusation with enough evidence. This casino doesn't exist in the Bitcointalk forum, and no one mentioned their name here before OP. I just searched out and found that you have created a topic about this in Askgamblers forum. Your review on Trustpilot has more details about the situation.

The platform doesn't have any gambling license. They aren't available at any online mediators. So, there is no way for you to reverse their decision. And it was a mistake on your side to use the VPN.

It was over live chat one of their management authorised me to use VPN as their systems were going through updates at the time and alot of games were blocked/not geolocated to my location.

I dont have screenshots of this conversation. They just depleted my entire balance and refuse to speak to me on live chat, management that is or respond to my emails. I haven't been rude to them just want to state my case to them why I should get my winnings.


Their live chat is useless and management rarely take chats so im left in Limbo.

Since you don't have any evidence then I think it's best to let this one go. You can't accuse someone without proof.

For important issue like this, it's always better if you contact support via email instead live chat. If you'd opened email support ticket then you'd have atleast written record of the conversation. Which could have served as evidence today.

By the way, @Mahdirakib, this isn't some mirror site of betcoin.ag, is it? The name is so similar that my first impression was, Wait... is this Betcoin.ag or not?

Then sadly, there is not much that can be done about it, they'll probably just claim they never said anything about you being allowed to use a VPN to access their website or to bypass geo-restrictions that some games have.

Maybe you can try posting this on mediator websites that were mentioned by The Cryptovator(AskGambler and Casino Guru), I'll also add Casinomeister and lcb.org to the list you can post your issue. I am not sure if betco.ag is listed on any of those mediator websites, but it wouldn't hurt to try and post your issue on those websites.

Even when we asked for more details, you haven’t answered. Let’s say their representatives come here to check your allegations, then how will they identify your account? Also, it seems a few members included me, confused about the correct website. So making allegations in a thread with the correct scam accusation format is important.

Have you checked if they have any announcement thread here on the gambling section? If you found it, also point it here so we may make sure about the platform.

I did a small search, and they definitely have no presence here in the forum. OP really messed up and did not follow those geoblocks. He should have looked at the terms of service to know if VPN usage is allowed or not.

Also, when you are geoblocked, it means you are not welcome to play that particular game. Look for another game or another casino where you can play that game to avoid getting your winnings confiscated for stupid reasons.

You can at least post the transaction link of your last deposit here. Also add some screenshots of the email which you sent to them. Casinos act according to their terms, they won't consider it as a valid reference which the support agent told you in the past.

No, they aren't. But the similarities in their names have created the confusion here. The sportsbook odds provider are different, and there is also difference between their casino games list.

I do agree with you. This biggest red flag in this case is that the casino does not have a valid gambling license, so when problems like this happens, the user will have nowhere meaningful to report the issue to. Even if the casino itself asked you to make use of a VPN, I think it would have make more sense if the OP provide some kind of proves. In cases like this that a big amount of money is involved, providing some strong evidence could have help the situation better.

This is just a lesson to a lot of gamblers out there. Always make sure to read a casino terms and conditions, and before you even think of depositing funds into the platform, make some findings about the casino's reputation, how long the casino has been around and check for users feedback. No one is above mistake, because I'm also a victim that was scammed by a gambling site some months ago, and if only I had taken some minutes to read feedbacks I would have been safe.

Check the thread title and the casino name again the OP mentioned. The casino the OP is having an issue with is not Betcoin.ag, it's betco.ag, and yes, a casino called betco.ag does exist. So, betcoin.ag's terms and conditions don't matter here, that being said, the OP did break betco.ag's terms by using VPN(but he does claim that someone from betco.ag allowed him to use it)
