What I've been thinking is that if they don't force him to resign right now, if they don't remove him from office, he could win the FIFA elections again. As it stands, i don't n't see anyone that could challenge his return, Ceferin stepped down and Nasser Al Khelaifi would do same too which makes the incumbent president to compete against weaker opponents, that plus the backing he’s got from US, Europe, Africa and Asia would keep him in power. If he can slow down on commercialising the game then people might reconsider easing their hatred towards him but i doubt he'll quit the agenda, his love for money won't let him do that.

The next FIFA presidential election is set for March 18, 2027, at the 77th FIFA Congress in Rabat, Morocco, with a candidate declaration deadline of November 18, 2026. However there is growing speculation that he might not even make it that far. If 19 of the 37 members of the FIFA Council call an emergency meeting or if 43 member associations formally request an extraordinary congress, he could face a vote of no confidence and be forced out well before the 2027 vote.

As for who could be the next FIFA president, bookmakers have already started posting early odds. UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin is currently listed as the favorite at 2.20, followed by PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi at 3.00. CAF president Patrice Motsepe is sitting around 13.00, while Norwegian FA president Lise Klaveness is priced at 19.00. I don’t think he will be forced out. He has too many powerful allies who would lobby others against the idea.
These guys, Carles Puyol, Fabio Cannavaro and Pep Guardiola are not strong contenders at all. It is most likely going to be the UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin that would be the next FIFA president.

Honestly speaking, this is very true and it will be difficult for these names you mentioned to replace infantino because he has build allies over the years as FIFA president and majority of the FA is backing him up in whatever policies he is taking if it was that easy to remove him, he would have been kicked out since before now but it's no easier the way it is and I still believe Alesksander Ceferin is the one that is in a better position to replace him because he has a wider knowledge of what the system is all about. Other names on the list are not stronger opponents that will win infantino.

I'm not so sure whether he will be elected again or not. But the support for him is indeed quite strong. He has established good relationships with many important people, which is a good asset to boost his popularity. But I think there will be some news about mistakes he has made that will be published more widely in the media. This could be considered as competition from his political opponents who are also candidates.

I honestly think he was very shrewd to ally himself with a man who wields so much power; it gives him a certain immunity within the political sphere. He choose to respect Trump's wish over maintaining orderliness in the game, if Trump didn’t ask him to make the call he wouldn't have done that, the situation of Messi's foul on an Algerian player that sparked argument on the media is another instance, if that player was an American wouldn't he had punished Messi?
 Although the call didn't favour the US team nor make Messi and others he favoured win the competition but if there's no fairness in the game then it would be very bias. Well it's too bad that no one can challenge him in the upcoming elections cause he has strong backings from top politicians in and outside football.

People are used to one behavior when it doesn't work for them and I don't believe what the internet is doing now when we have many boys accounts farming for engagement and using bots to attack players and teams. If you remove what Fifa did to USA by waving their red flag, there is nothing controversial in Argentina, it was across all games but you know they wouldn't let Messi be and they don't like the fact that Florentino have good relationship with him which is normal.

The other day, I saw a video of Ronaldo and Florentino hugging and having conversations and atmosphere was all cool but let it be Messi and him and see what people do on the internet. Sometimes, I see these things they do on the internet as agenda. People are going to constitute the nuisance they want to do especially when the internet is an open place, they want to always have it their ways since we all see it as beauty and fun of football but it doesn't make sense.

I don't think just apologizing or backing down would stop the European from sticking to punish him. The confrontation is about the dominance and structural sovereignity of the game on a global scale. What Infantino did was evaluated by the Europeans as trying to undermine the Champions League and European financial dominance over the game by sharing some of the revenues with smaller associations in return for their electoral votes. That’s a really political tactic. UEFA wants to use this to impose a real institutional reform that removes powers from the president and not just a simple mistake that can be overcome with an apology.

The reality is that Right now, modern football is a global business so I don’t think is because he likes money. The FIFA itself is a body of government and for sure they will have to also devise every possible means of generating revenue to sustain the Body and keep the association going. As the years goes and whoever takes over the FIFA Presidency will look out for ways in which the Association can generate more revenues.  Different innovations continue to develop , Albeit i think it will be wise to keep a balance between revenue generation and the pure passion of the game because it will be a disaster if the traditional pure passion of the game is not appreciated.

With such massive support, they have no way to remove Infantino from power, especially since they have Trump as a very strong ally.

I imagine that to gain the support of those football confederations, the key will be that most of their teams go to the World Cup, which, from what I've heard, will be held in about six countries crazy! It's something they want to make global; I don't know how good that is.

What I do want them to correct is that they stop showing bias towards any one nation; it makes you not want to watch the games.
