Different innovations continue to develop , Albeit i think it will be wise to keep a balance between revenue generation and the pure passion of the game because it will be a disaster if the traditional pure passion of the game is not appreciated.

World Cup hosting arrangements by several countries may also be innovations made to generate more money. 
However, international football has already developed, and rule adjustments with technology may be better than policies with political intrigue. The resolution of alleged match-fixing cases and other serious violations must also be addressed and published by FIFA openly. 
When there is a presidential election, there will certainly be supporters and opposition. Whoever is elected, hopefully FIFA will become better.

You have certainly heard of countries that have already given their support to the current FIFA president to be re-elected in the next election. FIFA remains an organization that will never be able to be independent when politics has entered and corrupted the system within it. When there is an industry that generates a lot of money, politics will enter to control it. If there are better changes in FIFA, it will be very good for all football fans.

If the politics are internal politics within FIFA, then are no problems. You can’t take away politics from such organization, because they will go through political process to select new leaders. The politics that FIFA aren’t supposed to get involved are international politics. They shouldn’t allow external political powers to detect the affairs of the organization. That is the politics that FIFA are supposed to embrace, but under this administration we are seeing FIFA being used as a tool for political gain.

Am looking at the odds of who wins as next Fifa president, how come we don't have the market odds for Gianni Infantino??

Yep, let's be positive OP may forget to update it. It's weird Infantino has no odds while his chance to exit from his current position is already 15% in Kalshi (it's around 40% in july). It's likely he's still competing to defend his position as FIFA president. Some adjustments is also needed like Ceferin and Al-Khelaifi who already ruled out their position to be the next president. Nevertheless, i see Lise Klaveness is starting to go up. People are starting to talk about him to be the most competence person to challenge Infantino.

With such massive support, they have no way to remove Infantino from power, especially since they have Trump as a very strong ally.

I imagine that to gain the support of those football confederations, the key will be that most of their teams go to the World Cup, which, from what I've heard, will be held in about six countries crazy! It's something they want to make global; I don't know how good that is.

What I do want them to correct is that they stop showing bias towards any one nation; it makes you not want to watch the games.

Infantino is receiving massive support because he gave some continents a sense of belonging. He increased the number of participants, thereby making continets like Africa and others have more participants. He has also increased the allocation to football associations in different countries. FIFA has always been a corrupt organisation. But the difference is that Infantino mastered the craft of building his support base by giving out more money and slots.

The reality is that Right now, modern football is a global business so I don’t think is because he likes money. The FIFA itself is a body of government and for sure they will have to also devise every possible means of generating revenue to sustain the Body and keep the association going. It looks like the storm that was coming for him has calmed down a bit, so he might as well cling on to power until 2027. I very much would love for him to retire because he has really messed up the beautiful football body, which can easily be seen in the recently concluded tournament.

I think the UEFA guy is a suitable candidate to replace him and maybe Arsène Wenger. For Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the PSG president. I don't trust him. He might just make things worse.  We really need some change ASAP. This is just my opinion.

It's good that such thing happened so that, Infantino would know that he doesn't have the right to make decisions on his own without hearing from other international football bodies. At least, he will be careful on any decisions he wants to come up with in the future and listen to the opinion from other international football bodies before coming to say it in the public. He's gaining back his trust and loyalty gradually.

There may be shady and questionable stuffs going on in FIFA and Infantino's leadership because of some decisions they make sometimes, but I don’t think that’s what preventing a new president from being chosen.

And about his resignation… doubt if there was any official agreement for him to leave after world cup unless there is evidence of that? which you can point me to. Many people including me want him to resign though cos I see am as a puppet that’s being controlled.

Trump may support Infantino, but that does not mean Infantino is still in that office because of Trump backing. I refuse to believe that because it is members of the congress that decides that. The fact that he is still there means he has support on the inside.

At the time when the call for the resignation of Infantino was made when the issue was still fresh anyone would have thought that by now he would not still be in office as FIFA President. Many football enthusiast were raged by his decision to sell some percentage of the organisation's stake for commercial purposes that does not favour the improvement of the games but for profit oriented purposes.

Infantino will certainly complete his office tenure but what he does not stand much chance at is a re-election to the office cause his move which spark the controversy for his removal. He will now be opposed by many strong opponents more than it would have been for him had he not made that call. The Uefa President stand a bigger chance among all others candidates for next election in 2027 and he seems to be my favourite too.

Well i know that lots of football fans are skeptical about Infantino’s continued leadership because of the growing rumors of certain suspected irregularities by FIFA lately, especially the alleged once that occurred during this last World Cup but personally apart for the corrupt aspects i feel Infantino haven’t done so badly as a FIFA president, he has given football some form of uplift, conducted a lot of interesting football competitions, including drawing attention from various top world leaders too. See how regularly Trump associates himself lately with football activities, he was around even during the club World Cup that Chelsea won to present the Trophy, Infantino might have his bad sides but he has also done well in some ways, i admire his maturity and composure.

If everything is very well prepared, then of course he had a very good reason to take all those risks. In this case, we just have to wait, but it's clear that, given how things are going, Infantino could win again.

The only way is for the football confederations to vote against Infantino, which is the most logical thing to do, but we already know how this ends.

What bothers me is continuing to see these matches, which, if they're fixed, will be sold to private organizations when you least expect it.

I know that they were criticizing him before for wanting to commercialize the next World Cup but that has been off now because he has stopped it, I don’t think there will be anything that will be used to criticize him anymore.

He has the backing of the powerful people in the world that can actually make him or influence people to vote for him.

Yes, he ought to have resigned because of his secretive and now abandoned plan to sell minority stakes in FIFA competitions for men’s and women’s World Cups to private investors. But he still has the right to re-election under FIFA’s current rules.
I see something fishy about the election when the individual who has potential and a high chance of winning the election voluntarily chooses to step down instead of continuing with the election activities.

In a global organization like FIFA, no decision can be changed by the wish of a single person. And the president certainly has more power than everyone else, and his influence is more in any decision. Even if he has the opportunity to make a decision alone, there should be a discussion with others , considering all the issues that can have a negative impact, and then some kind of fixed decision should be made. And before making any decision, should take enough time. Because some of the decisions of the FIFA President in the last World Cup have created a lot of controversy. The whole world has said a lot of negative things about him and shared insulting opinions on social media. Keeping these issues in mind, he should not take any decision in the future that will reduce people's trust in him. And so far, if we think about popularity and voting, Infantino is ahead and he may be the FIFA President again.
