Here’s what really happened, a friend of mine offered to sell a 10 leg parlay bet which is already halfway done, 6 games are already green with a pretty good cashout option and 4 games left to clear the slip. So he offered to sell the game to me, added an extra $50 to the cashout amount.

If the game eventually pulls off, I’ll be making more than 5x of what I bought it, but it’s a really tough decision to make because there’s really no guarantee that it’s gonna end in a win.

You were lucky that it worked out for you and because it worked out for you then doesn't mean that if you continue buying people's parlay game, you will be profitable. I haven't taken such risk before even though, I had the opportunity to buy one because I feel it's not necessary and I'm not in a urge to make profit from gambling.

Okay what I mean is that, he was actually offered a cashout of around $70 so he said he had an emergency and the $70 cashout won’t be enough to cover for the emergency, thus the reason why he decided to sell it in the first place, so instead of cashing out the  $70, he added an extra $50 to the $70 making it a total of $120, so he’s offering to sell the game for $120. That’s what I meant.

Expensive, high-risk bets, you should not buy these sports bets.

Do you know what matches are left in the next two days? Do you have the same confidence when you see it?

I understand what you meant, but the decision to buy a game like this, is personal since you already know that there is no guarantee that the remaining 4 games left in the slip out of the 10 will end in your favour, it means you are uncertain about the bets which is normal as a gambler, and if I may ask, how much is the potential winning in the slip?
Although I have not been approached with such offer before, but if a friend or any gambler comes to me with this, I may not want to buy, despite that the two things that can happen is for me to either win or lose, I will not want to go for risk like this one, I bet my game with what I see as an affordable amount, so why will I buy a game that has a cash on it when I was not the one that predicted they game, if anything happens, all the risk is on me, i don't have a direct advice for you on this, I can only say do as your mind told you.

In my opinion, the whole point of this situation is that this unplayed accumulator is a very risky proposition... Your friend doesn't want to take the risk and is looking for someone who will take on all the risks and pay an extra $50 for it. In my opinion, this is a very bad deal!

A good deal is one with high profit potential and low risk. The question is... Where can you find such a deal? 🤔

Gamble is all about luck, which I believe everyone of us already knows; even those who literally think that they are very smart already know this. Before then, I wouldn't have believed that one day I would pay for a parlay, but here it did happen, and everything was a success because of luck. Actually, everything felt entertaining because I had to report to the guy about the success of the game. After all, he's my friend, and we all laughed about it. Well, even though I will be trying such things anyway in the future, I will make sure to watch carefully so that I don't regret my actions. My reasons for doing that are that I like trying new things, and luckily I didn't regret it, even though I haven't bought any games from anyone.

It's already sounding funny because I don't see why eh would want to sell his parley when he could just cash out. If he was too scared of losing, he could just simply use the cash out option and collect his wins. I mean he would have already gotten more than how much he used to place the bets, so of what use is he selling it out for? These kind of situations might come with risk he has his own reason for wanting to sell it out to you and it's strange anyone would do that, instead of just going home with his wins. My advice would be to avoid such offers because it doesn't sound in any way favourable to you who is buying..

Definitely pass, and copy and use the bets that aren't fulfilled or done yet. This is new to me that bets are being sold. I wouldn't trust someone to really fulfill the wins if it manages to push through. I don't like the idea, and it might ruin something.

That's too risky. The thing is that if the game was so valuable, why is he selling it? Is he seeing something we are not seeing? If the risk is worth taking and you believe you can handle whatever outcome that follows, then I don’t see anything wrong with taking the risk.

There is actually no grantee in gambling, anything can happen, even if you believe you are going to win, you can still lose, nothing is sure in gambling.
A friend of mine was saying that he has a sure game to give to me and if I play it, I’m going to win and I told him no gambling prediction is sure, anything can happen.

Some people think that by using a particular strategy they are sure of winning regularly, but that is not true. I have tried a lot of strategy that some people may even not think about, but I still lose sometimes, so no gambling strategy is sure.
Just predict and believe it will go as predicted and don’t put too much faith on your prediction.

It depends on the situation with those remaining 4 matches. If all of the remaining matches look like they have a strong chance of winning, you can accept the offer. But if they are difficult matches, you may want to pass on it. Remember, having four matches left is still very risky.

Personally, though, I would rather avoid buying someone else’s parlay, even if it’s only $50. It would be more profitable to have our own betting options with lower risk and at least @2.00 odds.

I am not sure why this person wants to sell this bet to you, and how would they transfer it to you, since they placed this bet in their own betting account, so how exactly are you going to purchase this parlay?

You'll have a lot of things to consider before going ahead with this, for example, the chances of the last games and well as the value of the sale. If you consider everything and you have got a little advantage, you can take it, but this is gambling and the exact reason why the person wants to sell, you can't be certain of anything.

Your friend is afraid that if he doesn't cash out one or more of the remaining games might ruin his ticket and he wanted the easy way out by wanting to transfer the remaining risk to another person while making more profit on the cash out offer from the casino, what a smart move to add more to his cash out. To accept such an offer would depend on the level of confidence that you have for the remaining games to play according to the bet, if you don't have the confidence no need to take the risk but if you're up for it and the amount is what you are comfortable to lose you can consider taking it. But the original bettor should have just accepted the cash out and move on if he is afraid to continue the bet, why transfer the risk if he is not willing to go through with it.

I would pass.
We would be talking about a parlay which I have not selected and games which I did not have in my radar from the beginning, even if there are already six positive games in my favor, it does not mean I will have better chances to win on the remaining four games.

Perhaps it is because I have a personal adversity against parlays and I prefer to bet in money line, where there is less risk and allows me to handle my money easier.

Also, it does not much sense for someone to sell a parlay which still has chances to win or Cash-out for even more money in the future... I have never had someone offering me their parlay to me for a price.

So you’re saying if maybe you’ve finished analyzing the remaining games and you actually see there’s a possibility that they can end in a win, you would take the chance? The thing about this is that, everyone has their own different strategies and pattern of betting, and what seems like a potential win for one could end up looking like trash to another bettor simply because that’s not their style. Which means that a game may look like a No to you, while based on another’s perspective and analysis, it’s actually a good one. And again, we all know that winning in gambling isn’t about how logical or rational the games look but about luck, and no one knows when they’ll get lucky.

One thing’s for sure: I’ve never known of anyone offering an in-progress bet to another party with good odds if taken.
If someone offered me a list of bets where the cashout was already 5 times greater than the offered price, I might take it—but I wouldn’t wait for the results of the remaining matches in progress; instead, I’d choose to cash out.
Based on my experience with betting, I’m certain no one would sell a list of in-progress bets because, given my way of thinking, whoever was trying to sell it would definitely cash out the bets themselves.

I believe the OP stated the reason somewhere above why the owner of the bet wanted to sell it, it’s not about being scared of losing the bet. According to the OP, he stated that the owner of the bet had some kind of emergency that required urgent financial attention and the cashout wouldn’t be enough to sort out the emergency, and that was why he proposed selling  for a much higher amount. While this may look like a good reason to wanna sell it, I still feel it’s a very risky move to take because the next game could be the end of the slip. I feel the owner of the game is just trying to transfer the risk to someone else at their own expense.

I will not pass if the amount I would be spending is not to much of a difference with what I normally spend to gamble then I might just take the risk. Gambling itself is a risk taken which no one knows what the results could be next.

It's just for me another way of thinking it that am staking a bet of four legs and am using funds that am ready to lose, otherwise I wouldn't do it because the chances of me profiting from that deal is really slim.

If I were in your shoes, I would pass on an offer like this. The reason is pretty simple those 4 matches aren’t even a guarantee that you’ll win, even though we’ve already won 6 games. Besides, the person offering that parlay doesn’t really believe in those 4 remaining matches either if they did, there’s no way they would offer it to you. 

Another reason I wouldn’t accept such an offer is because, for me, gambling like that doesn’t bring any satisfaction. I prefer to analyze and predict on my own when gambling on parlays, because it’s much more enjoyable whether I win or lose, I feel satisfied with my own decisions. Even though there are lots of Telegram or FB groups offering free parlay predictions, I still like to make my own predictions when gambling on parlays. So, gamble based on your own analysis and choices rather than following someone else’s strategy. Especially if it’s you being offered a parlay like the one you experienced, it’s better to avoid it because it’s a trap.

If I’m buying, I am doing so with the knowledge that it’s still a 50:50 bet. There’s an equal chance that I might lose the parlay but I don’t need to tell you this, you’re a gambler after all so you know a guaranteed win doesn’t exist.

Reading through the thread, I discovered the selling price is $120. That’s quite a huge amount to place on a parley, don’t you think? Not exactly an amount I’d be happy to risk.
