The discussion about Ai taking over human jobs has become a major concern the last few days and while some believe that this can happen there are lots of people that don't really think that this is going to happen. People need to open their mind to the possibility of a new future with Ai, this could be a major breakthrough in achieving significant results when it comes to the tasks we perform.
Programmers can take advantage of Ai and people that are skilled in different things, it is a fact that Ai can do a lot of things better than humans but that doesn't mean that it is going to take our jobs. People forget that there is a word known as assist, and I find this very funny. Ai is the future and instead of being afraid that it would end up taking your Job, take advantage of it.
AI is no doubt helping humans in many domains and its need of the hour to learn this new innovative technology to secure our future. This is not the first time in human history that it is feared that a new technology will take over human jobs. As you said, programmers can take benefit from this cutting edge technology to do the basic programming task so that programmers can focus on core functionalities. We need to figure out how we can take advantage of AI or how to transform our profession because that's the only way to survive in coming days of AI dominance. Yes, that's right. We have to respond by constantly adapting because in history whenever there is a new wave of technology there’s always that kind of overblown worry like what happened before, like with the easiest example being the growth of marketplaces. But what ends up happening is that the technology actually creates new types of jobs and even boosts productivity. The same thing will happen to AI nowadays especially as you mentioned, AI functions more as a tool that speeds up our work. So the best way to ease excessive worries or even fear of losing jobs is to keep adapting to using AI to strengthen our skills so we’ll be more ready for changes. The main point is that with an open attitude toward new developments, the willingness to keep learning increases, and in the end AI can become a breakthrough that expands our opportunities rather than taking away our jobs.

I don't really know what else to say to convince those who still think ai will replace all human jobs. Just wake up!
The only advantages ai has over humans is retention of information and precision engineering, but it can not think beyond the information it is fed with. In my opinion, it shouldn't be called artificial intelligence, it should be called a pattern recognising machine, because that all it does. Unlike humans, it cannot innovate, it can not also perform QA effectively, has poor judgment orientation. I don't know if you have heard of the phrase "false-positive" it is a very common error ai makes in all industries. It only takes human judgment to be able to figure out these false positive and do away with them. Is that not a job ai has created for humans?
Yes, it is incredible to see what ai can perform today and probably in the future they will keep getting better, but just know humans always have the role to play in every industries that ai and robotics can not replace. Remember, you can never be better than your creator.
I don't think you are updated with the current situation with AI and you are are thinking of the early days of ChatGPT. Right now it can replace many IT jobs too, including testing. You can just give it a website and say test this, you don't need to say anything or tell it what the website is about. It will check it out, understand what it is as much as we can say a machine of this generation understands it, and then it will run proper testing. Similar to that we can already find swarms of AI agents that are able to code up projects that took hundreds of thousands of dollars or more and many engineers before. Only small corrections and involvement is needed by the humans. So I would not be confident about humans keeping many jobs. This is the AI of today, but what will be possible in 10 years from now?

Ai is beneficial for the people who have a degree in AI, or who have diploma or they have experty to run the system and machines. Today all things are online and AI is creating the jobs but people have fear of losing their job and it could be happen if he is too old and don't want to learn AI bug there are many jobs which don't need AI as in many countries most of the workers have no degree but they are earning good but the people who want to get job on degree basis they are learning from University or college to learn about AI. The people who are successful in their career have no impact from that because they can use it, and they can hire a people who know how to use AI but you have to take a course. But most of the people don't want to learn; they want to earn more.

The best thing to do is to integrate AI into our everyday day lives where necessary. It is something that we cannot fight whether we like it or not. Technology is advancing and so is everything around and we have to be on the same page with what the real technology is talking about. Trying not to be part of it will leave you idle in the past and not get to tap from the benefits of getting along with the latest technologies. AI has become a powerful tool and maybe at some point, we may just not ponder much about AI and say that they may replace virtually every sector in the world. It will take a long time but seeing how far AI has come, I don’t think there will be much limits as to how far in can come.

Despite that, human services will always be needed, especially in healthline or healthcare sector. I won't deny you for saying that AI is already helping with diagnosis, analysing medical images accurately and also suggest treatments. But let's be realistic, human services will always be needed in healthline even if their work become limited, because AI cannot counsel a patient, reassure them or even give or provide health education. I'm not saying that AI is not capable of doing those things, but patient will prefer talking to a human being like themselves, because they will understand each other better, and feel emotionally supported. Let's be sincere, human interaction is actually very, very essential when dealing with sensitive health problems. AI may be helpful to healthcare professionals, but it should not completely replace human interaction. For the sake of patients mental health and emotional well-being it is not advisable to use AI as consultant, neither should it even take the patient history, not even in the future.

I am updated and I speak from experience. Yes, ai can replace humans in some roles but it doesn't justify the FUD flying around. When a new technology is introduced, it takes away jobs and bring in new jobs. For example, before agricultural machineries were invented, it took more labourers to finish a job in a particular time frame, which in turn created alot of job opportunities. However, with recent agricultural machines we don't require such amount of labourers, rather we now require people who can operate the machines (though fewer when compared to the labourers). Apart from the machine operators, we also require those who would service and maintain the machine. That is to say, jobs were lost but jobs were also created. The same applies in this ai era. Now we have roles like prompt engineers and many others. These jobs were not there when ai was not invented, they only came up with the invention of ai. So ai is also creating job opportunities for those who are following up. And I ask you, can you rely 100% on a QA performed by on ai? Why not ask Ford and Co why they rehired for the roles they once taught ai could replace. It is as simple as ABC, ai can only replace junior roles in a an industry, most senior roles are for experienced individuals.

In the medical world, AI has already taken over a lot of medical things, some activities in hospitals are already done by AI and it has been adopted by the government and the medical professions because they trust the AI even more than some humans that are medical professionals. If the medical sector can be comfortably handled by AI, then I believe other sectors will be much easier. AI is advancing every day and in the future AI is going to be more advanced, however, one thing I have observed in the medical sector is that humans are working with AI and I think that’s the best, AI should work with humans for good and better result.

AI was introduced specifically to make our task easier. People were apprehensive when computer first arrived, too. Gradually we adapted to them. Computer eventually became integral part of our daily live. While many feared losing their job they ultimately learned to use technology. Those who failed to learn it were left behind. Situation with AI is much same. It is here to assist us. We must learn to use it if we want to simplify our work. We can already see that those who have adapted to it are earning significant income. New technology will continue to emerge and we need to learn them for our own benefit and to make our work easier. Idea that AI will cause us to lose our job is complete misconception.

I agree that AI is going to take the jobs that were once safe in the past but as it is the start of the technological revolution we cannot predict the exact outcome. I don't think that it is going to replace doctors and dentists completely and make them unnecessary in future. If we take example of AI toothbrush, it is going to monitor the oral health of the teeth and also detect problems at the earliest stage and also give advice to the people but if there are some bigger issues, then people have to consult dentist for the proper checkup and for the final decisions.
In the same way, AI can help surgeons in surgery but whenever there is any critical task and procedures have to be performed it requires human judgement and experience at that stage. I don't think that AI needs to replace the entire profession just to make its huge impact. It is enough if it is going to just automatically do 30 to 50% of daily tasks and can help the companies reduce the number of workers. Instead of just thinking that it is going to take jobs I think that we will see a lot of different jobs changing rather than just disappearing overnight.

Artificial intelligence will benefit many sectors. The assumption that AI will completely take over certain jobs may not be entirely accurate; human input will still be required at every stage. Leveraging AI can improve various tasks and enhance overall performance. It can be utilized, for instance, to assist in the decision-making process. AI offers advantages in many areas, such as accelerating workflows and enabling us to view tasks from different perspectives. Therefore, rather than viewing AI as something that will completely take over jobs, we should regard it as a useful tool that supports and enhances our work.

Where are you from if you don't mind? I've been to four hospitals this year and there is no single AI anywhere, the most crazy thing I saw was Doctors using the internet search to find solution to patients problems. I thought this was somekind of a joke until I saw a video with a American lady on the bed video recording a Doc who is using goggle search engine to find solution to her problem. God bless that lady for me because it just proven that what I saw was real, AI is advancing but can see start talking about the disadvantages of AI? We humans are the ones making this AI to become more advanced, one day things won't go as planned.

AI is now making inroads into various professional fields. Tasks ranging from writing design coding and data analysis to customer support including many repetitive jobs can now be performed using AI. Previously time consuming tasks can often be accomplished in a much shorter time. This does not however imply that AI is going to take the place of humans anytime soon. There are still many jobs that need human judgment communication skills, creativity and responsibility. AI can perform a lot of tasks but taking on a job entirely is a different ball game. Buying a house can be difficult to predict. Certain jobs might be rejected and new careers will be created. I think in the future AI is going to be a very helpful assistant, making mundane tasks easier and increasing the productivity of humans. People who get to work with AI not against it are going to have more jobs in the future. Knowing how to use AI as a new skill is a far more crucial aspect than seeing it as a threat.
