In general, what motivate us about bitcoin is the money it will make in the future after consistent accumulation of bitcoin. Because if there is no money involved, but only technology itself, people will not be rushing into bitcoin. They will be happy knowing bitcoin, but they will not be as highly motivated and driven like they are today.

Personally, I get inspired knowing I have bitcoin in my wallet, and believe that this single amount of bitcoin once multiplied and become double or triple, will create a big difference in my future finances. Bitcoin will make people rich, but in different time and level.

People will not be so motivated with bitcoin if its all about having technology alone, but when bitcoin becomes a profitable tool for investment, that's when people turn into highly aggressive with bitcoin. Due to reasons you have mentioned, Bitcoin was able to win confidence of people around the world and now people are taking it as an asset of investment just because its price continuous to increase with passing time. Bitcoin was able to eliminate the middleman from every transaction made over its blockchain and that means whatever you send will be received on the other end with just a small fee, this is something not imaginable in fiat financial system. I am very inspired by the past history of Bitcoin and the current position of Bitcoin, especially where Bitcoin was 15 years ago and where Bitcoin has gone now. If someone had bought Bitcoin 15 years ago and held it until now, then he would have become a billionaire by now. You can easily make 5x to 6x, that's what I think, considering you make 2x every time in halving, but that would mean buying the bottom and selling the top, which not everyone does, so you make less than 2x. So I round it up to 5x to 6x max. It can be 10x.

I've said the same thing on multiple occasions to people who usually have very high expectations from their Bitcoin investments because they heard or read that people from the past made extremely good profits from Bitcoin, but they don't understand that things can't always be the same at different times, especially when it comes to investment assets like Bitcoin. If one could make 20x from their Bitcoin investment because it was worth $5,000 when they bought it and sold it when it reached $100k, we can't expect the same results anymore, because the growth percentage will decrease over time.

In my observation most of the newcomers in crypto space one of their idea is the bitcoin will become the life changer to them so they made an investment into it and wait for a long time well which is good if they manage to make bought at the bottom of the market from the previous cycle or let's say even the recent lows which is 58k, and let's say to sell from its previous highs so basically it double your investment.
