Waking up this morning and I was asking myself what really motivates me about Bitcoin?

Bitcoin has many advantages, and all of them are excellent for attracting new and retaining old fans of the number‑one cryptocurrency. Of course, everyone is immediately drawn to the fact that Bitcoin has a speculative component - after all, everyone has heard those stories about the price doubling, and they immediately think it’s easy: to buy at the lowest price and then sell at 120k. But in reality, it’s all complicated.
What’s next: Bitcoin can be transferred freely, and I personally advised acquaintances on how to do this when they didn’t know how to send money to a relative. And, of course, some people like the technical aspect of Bitcoin.

it would be wrong to say everyone buys bitcoin for money, but it's not wrong to say that most people in bitcoin have some kind of financial motivation.
whether they want to make profit, preserve wealth or protect themselves from inflation, money is still a big part of why they hold bitcoin.

The main reason why so many people engage in bitcoin is actually because of freedom from maybe finincial instability and thats actually the main reason. And I actually agree that pure financial protection probably is not the majority because so many people entered Bitcoin because they saw the potential to make money first, then learned about the bigger ideas behind it later. Some people may enter Bitcoin because of profit, but the more they understand it, the more they realise that Bitcoin is bigger than simply making money, like a friend that introduced me to bitcoin told me he sees it as having control over your own money, and having an asset that operates outside online of physical banking systems. So financial motivation to me yes it’s the reason why so many people enter Bitcoin, but i dont think it’s the reason why so many people stayed.

I have been observing this for a long time and I believe the motivation behind it all can be simplified down to the concept of profit, the pursuit of gain serves as the underlying reason for everything and Bitcoin's growth over time certainly bears this out.

The majority of people who picked interest in Bitcoin at the later stage, not the earlier stage, which are more focused on experimenting on new financial products, are profit-driven than anything else. If the possibility of Bitcoin not being able to generate profit when held for the long term is not part of the features, again, a lot of people will not have any single interest in the market again and can just treat it as another stablecoin, but the difference will be that it’s not centralized.

However, Bitcoin can be said to be a new thing that encompasses a new era of life that motivates many people because of its advantages in the virtual world and even in real life.

I may be excluded here because before when I was new to bitcoin and just introduced then my main focus was just profit and maybe this will be considered basic but that's what happens.  I always focus on the price when I buy and the increase in the value of the profits I have (even though I haven't got it yet) but because the focus is only on profits I am tempted to be in bitcoin further.

Technology or anything that I never care about even for just a risk I put aside because I only focus on profit from the beginning. This may be considered wrong and I know it now but before I remained a naive person and that's what happened but the longer we study we become more and more aware of how bitcoin works and that's what has kept me going until now.

I share your thoughts, seeing the ever-increasing price of BTC. That's what made me interested in investing in BTC. Interestingly, even during wars, the price of BTC doesn't fall. In fact, quite a few people, if I'm not mistaken, store their money in BTC. Saving money in BTC is certainly easier to access in various countries, unlike gold, which is heavy to carry around, like gold in kilograms.  

People who hold BTC today and bought it long ago are certainly making significant profits. Yes, indeed as the ability of Bitcoin to grant users the ability to have full control over their assets is indeed a primary motivating factor why the majority of Bitcoin investors chose it over our traditional banking system. While secondly, as time goes on, the ability to be able to earn huge profits by just saving or investing your money in Bitcoin is another powerful motivating factor that have made lots of big investors chose Bitcoin rather than leaving their huge wealth in stock or bank where they will only get little or no profit at all from it. There's no country that we can confidently say there is no bitcoin user in that country, if you know any country that there is no bitcoin user please you can say the country, from what I know there's no country that has zero bitcoin user.
You can only say that there are some countries that have very limited adoption or strong restrictions towards Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general.

You're not wrong, Bitcoin has proved to be a trustworthy and reliable investment asset. Over the years a lot of people doubted Bitcoin but it turned out to be a regret for many. Many were lucky to make some good returns while others missed out on early opportunity but the good thing is that with Bitcoin it's never too late to invest. Historically it keep setting new milestones and reaching a new ATH so I agree that the longer you are able to hold out the more gains are likely to get.

Although even with all that being said I won't agree that holding Bitcoin is an assurance for a greater future. Yes the chances are pretty high but Bitcoin is also an investment and anything can as well happen. It's better for anyone investing in Bitcoin to know that there is no assurance for a better future.

If you look at the degradation of the public's view of bitcoin is changing, bitcoin is mostly today used as a tool for profit, where there are actually a lot of features or technologies that can be used in accordance with what is fundamental to bitcoin itself, such as decentralization, freedom, anonymity and many things that we can use.

Likewise, what is actually a value, now only talking about financial benefits, especially in my country is very limited in its use, but fortunately if traveling abroad that supports bitcoin then it will be very easy for me to shop using bitcoin without having to exchange fiat money which is quite complicated.
