Jobs or skills that will never fades away

I would like to add two more areas to your examples of transportation and agriculture, healthcare and construction work. Just like food, people always need a good doctor, nurse, and pharmacist to stay healthy. Many professions related to healthcare will be in demand for a long time, although their work style may change due to technology. Construction work, people are increasing day by day in the world, the demand for housing and people is increasing. So there is a long-term demand for construction and repair work. For example, houses, roads, bridges, factories, and various infrastructures have to be built and maintained, so there is also a long-term demand for construction and repair work.

Ultimately, times will change, technology will change, but the value of works built around basic human needs can endure in many cases.

These fields of work no doubt will always be required, however technology goes forward so fast, that to do same job, number of employees always decreases. I cant wait when AI will be addition to doctors and it will decrease patients lines. In the past there were need a good number of people to cultivate fields, now 1-2 persons with special machinery and technology has replaced many. Good example are pharmacists also. Many years ago, people of that profession were similar to doctors. You could name your diagnose or problems, and pharmacist will give you medicine. Now people look everything online, get medicine recipes online and pharmacists play roles of sellers only.

With the challenging or competitive situation we find ourselves today, i have come to realise that skills are more better than jobs.
It is of more disadvantage if one depends on jobs when we know we are in a competitive environment where their are many people ready to take over once position incase of emergency but is not so it has to do with once skil. A skilled person has an upper hand when we talk of meeting ends need because it will be difficult finding an employee with same level of experience if need be.
Currently today many jobs are fading away because of advancement in technology but it is not so in skills, instead personels will also advance same way technology is doing.

Yes, especially when you learn different skills maybe 3-4 different skills. if they don't call you for the first they will probably call for the second or third that's if you're well known. the reason why most folks would prefer job over skill is due to the fact that it takes some time before they can actually call you for skill but as for the job you're doing it continuously. Personally with the way the economy is and also the experience I had from a friend I would prefer skill over job, I have a friend who spent 4-5 years in company work yet he could not achieve anything because the pay is not much, those who are at home learning skills is even better because before the end up the month they must have work in 3-4 different places and that's how they are getting money. While those who are working under company will still have to wait till month ends and that's how their expenses will keep compounding.

There are lots of advancement in technology today that are contributing the why people loss there jobs
Having skills is not enough for anybody to fold there hands and relax because as technology improves skilled workers also needs to know how to use the tools to improve there skills for better result. Any one waiting to be employed at this time could be that they are not ready  to pull the bull by the horn or find it difficult learn new things to increase tomorrow betterment. As a skilled personal you have your time to your self, creats job opportunities and makes there decisions all by themselves.
