Scrolling through crypto group chats and social media pages that display all those fake luxury lifestyle was your friends biggest mistake. It is very clear that all those internet stories about scammers making huge millions for free are exaggerated, all to persuade and bait people. Your friend have probably not heard about karma and how about going back to scamming the same people that scammed him instead of trying to hurt innocent people that has nothing to do with him loosing his holdings, indeed there are many ignorant people especially newbies and greedy people falling victim to scammers and maybe your friend was ignorant too hence the reason why he was scammed. But I don't think scamming people is the best thing to do because in everything that you do there's always consequences for it and fraud is a huge crime if he is caught, many scammers are getting away with their crimes and many have been caught too and your friend doesn't know what fate awaits him so tell him that loosing his freedom isn't worth it.

A person who has been cheated cannot compensate for his own loss by cheating another innocent person. Rather, a cheated person himself starts creating the same kind of loss that happened to him in someone else's life. In reality, many people who have been cheated are mentally broken and get involved in suspicious activities again in the hope of getting their money back quickly, which increases their own losses and can also create legal problems. I think that in such a situation, the right way is to collect evidence against the cheaters and complain to the relevant authorities and warn others about the fraud. Because an innocent person can bear the burden of loss due to the wrong decisions of others without doing any fault. Even if he gets some money back by cheating, his credibility, security and future are put at further risk.
