When hack or exploit occur in crypto gambling industry, platform usually go into panic mode and freeze withdrawal for an extended period.
In this instance, founder of Duelbits stepped forward personally and demonstrated hot wallet injection to ensure user fund remain safe, it definitely builds some trust!

However, imo they should keep a few things in mind.

Are you sure about this? Stake, Metawin and Raze gambling sites were hacked. The recent that happened was Raze before Duelbits. Both gambling sites were hacked in this 2026. Raze is back online.

In short, I have not seen any crypto gambling site that folded up because the gambling sites was hacked.

This is quite unfortunate, if they are able to recover from this somehow I don't think that gamblers would trust them with their informations if this breach can happen unexpectedly, although I have heard that they have been exploited in the past, my question is, didn't they notice any loopholes from their system? As Joe has said, that Duelbits 2.0 will be released in early October, I suspect that before the Duelbits 2.0 system is actually released, the funds in the Hot Wallet will only be visible to everyone, but not yet connected to the Duelbits system. If they have survived the past one, I think that they'll able to make it again for this one. Although it's a big amount that we're talking here and a huge part of it from their revenue, they shall recover again.

Yes but not if it is a professionally run and very competitive company, then why would they stop to exist? They can make back all the money that they have lost and more. We do not have data on the exact profitability of Duelbits, so we can only speculate how much time it will take them to earn back what was lost but they seem to have a lot of revenue and it should not be too drastic since they have already put back the money. If a company has both their hot wallets and cold wallets hacked that is another story, but that should not be possible under any realistic circumstance. If it is possible then the security of such platforms was very bad.

It's terrifying my friend. I have little amount sitting their I used recently for trades and I never saw this coming. People that used Duelbit are also in panic because they have their money on the casino but pretty sure they will come back to operation. A company like this should know that such kind of hack can be avoided but it can't be rule out, they should have some sort of protection for users even before now since they have experienced hack before.

Why always them, I just remembered that they faced an hack before now in 2024 but they later got back and everything continued smoothly.
