Dear All,

While making a small announcement , I would like to make it clear that all resurrection work that I do are solely based on and I rely on and wish that they would be appreciated with your generous and kind donations , I just want to let you all know that I'm not here to rake millions and millions through my work nor I am mining these coins or hold these coins in millions nor that I have mined these coins in large amounts and holding them nor that like the Original Developer I have premine and can dump them anytime and make a profit.

I simply work on a abandoned coin when I see it has potential and there's a good community behind it supporting it , now ofcourse while I put all my time into this and do all the needful there's nothing I'm gaining or profiting off nor am I expecting anything in return however it would have been great if my efforts are appreciated and respected by the community with such donations as I do also have running costs and other things to attend to like all of us humans do , commitments , bills and responsibilities and everything for me comes at a price though I do not set prices for what I do , it would have been nicer and respectful if my work and time were to be compensated by your generous contributions/donations for uninterrupted flow of my work and to help me with my commitments while I'm working.

~SoopY~

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Blake256 needs to be added to the poll.

It's a better, more efficient algo than any you have listed.

Also...sha3 is keccak...might want to fix that!

Nice to see beecoin back on track. Thanks soopy this is much appreciated.

I have a very good feeling about beecoin. I have spoken to a few people about it and i know 2 other people that are doing a few things for beecoin that will be ready shortly.

Also exchanges are going to be required for after the algo switch. So if everyone can keep voting on mintpal and others. I too am doing this and progressing with the new website.

Thank You Smiley

Yes, it won't be ready for a bit but things are coming along.

I didn't know which algo to vote for as yet so doing a bit of research around. X11 seems popular now. POS is something i don't understand perfectly so just reading up on it now.

I am still thinking, I do not know what to choose, but I want POS.

Are the other algo available with POS ? Perhaps POS only works with x11 and scrypt coins?  Does the POS activate daily like with black coin or extended to weekly like mintcoin?

Pos can be applied to any actually it does not matter , I'm in for POS too! Smiley

Guys...you get Gh/s with blake256.  It barely uses any power compared to other algos, resulting in very low gpu temps.

Plus, blake algo coins will soon be merge mineable.

X11 is shit...as are other waterfall algos.  I'm not sure what the hype is.  It was great when it was cpu only.

Plus...you guys do realize that the gpuminer for x11 isn't optimized whatsoever...There are guys with compiled miners that net 10x the hash that everyone else gets. (the average joes)

Keccak is like blake, but less efficient. (still better than x11) (Both blake and keccak were sha3 candidates)

Scrypt-N...god no.  I understand it's asic resistant, but that's actually a bad thing.  And why do you want a coin with an algo that is significantly less gpu friendly than any other?

Do your research!  Pick Blake!

Thank you very much for kind insights for everyone on the Algorithms mate , true while x11 is asic resistant at the moment , but will not be so in the future therefore everything is open at the moment , we are yet to decide what's best for bee.

Ofcourse it's Giga-Peta hashes equally spread out is what secures the network , we need those too.

Good to see beecoin  comes back on track!

As for the new algo, I think either Keccak or blake is ok, seems like blake is more GPU friendly? I don't really like Scrypt-n and X11, I had tried them before ,but really don't like them.

Looks like the bee pools are gone one by one, now I have to go on solo.

If we can modify the p2pool adding beecoin, so that all the bees can come together in a big p2pool, that will be nice.

Whoever is voting for x11, shame on you. After all the drama in the last couple of days about x11, it's become crystal clear that the average joe miner is being suppressed and inefficiently mining while a select few mine with a more optimized mining software which potentially gives them higher gains. It is the only reason why some members would cry bloody murder when confronted with providing technical answers as to why x11 is more energy efficient and/or secure than any other chained algo.

I personally think Blake256 might be the way to go. Reading http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/1xue3t/blakecoin_blake256_optimized_faster_than_scrypt/, and it looks like a very promising algo.

Edit: also, anyone mining at bee.updamoon.com? Coins haven't been confirming for hours. I'm not sure when it started but it's definitely been in the last 24 hours.
