That's a good point. Are we talking about when we reach 10k stable ground or 10k in a bubble before it crashes? |

Hard to say, it depends very much on what the reason that makes the value touch 10k is, and how unstable the value is at the time. |

If I were going to pull a time out of nowhere, I would estimate sometime in 2015. Late 2015, most likely. I think we will see a bull run this year, but do not expect $10k. Then more bear market consolidation, then maybe we take a run at it in 2015.

We are currently at $650.
With one or two rallies, I believe the price could touch (but not stabilize) $1000 in 2014.
IMO, it would take at least 2 years to make a 10 times increase after that.

Forget the $1m & $100,000 predictions, what's everyone's opinion on when bitcoin will hit $10,000?
when it gets to wall street , and has massive regulations. basicaly, large fishes will first get their pockets full of low price btc, and only then will btc go massively up. cheers |

It was going down for a few months but when it goes up it goes up fast I can feel the huge positive news around the corner and the huge negative news about the USD or the western financial system that will push the price to thousands then tens of thousands extremely fast |

I love how everyone seems so sure of their answer in this thread.  All I know is that bitcoin is a roller coaster. The next bubble could very well hit when people least expect it -- right now many expect it. So I suspect it won't come quite yet. But we'll be at $10,000 soon enough. Hard to say when, but I'd be surprised if it took 2 years. |
