Great news that you guys are taking control of this and moving it forward.

Now that the prior concerns or issues with the wallets is sorted I have a feeling that Hex could be poised to really take off.

I'm relatively new to this but the fact that this is based on the Litcoin script looks great.

I'll be watching this very closely and looking forward to carving out a piece of the action for myself  Grin

Any tips on getting started with mining Hex?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Tips? I'd get on it while the difficulty is still low.  Cool

Hopefully Windows wallet will be ready soon and posted here by TheSociableMe.

If you're a Linux or Mac user, those new wallet download links are posted on our website at http://heisenberghex.info/

Right now,  http://hex.pitythepool.com/ is up and running. I'm mining there and finding blocks. Jump on and crack some blocks with us!

EDIT: http://hex.quicpools.com/ is UP and RUNNING AS WELL!

Thanks for the tip,... seems obvious but it's good advice!
I'll watch out for the windows wallet from TheSociableMe and will check out the block mining as well.
I assume that with it being early days I could start mining these on my PC and then upgrade later as I get rolling with it?
If I need help I'll be back.
Thanks again for the support,.. much appreciated ;-)

Hey DEV, Wallet V2 doesn't register coins when solo mining.  You get an accept on the miner, but no coins hit the wallet.  V1 works fine.

Trying to get a Version 1.0.1 of the windows wallet made...

I don't have a windows box to compile it on....    Started working on creating a Windows VM for compiling but I have not gotten it finished.

my 2 cents:

It's about time you guys decide what wallet version to use....
Different forks and a couple of pools closed..   has it not been enough?
Choose one and we will stick with it, go HEX!
