Hey all. I wanted to make sure my wallet was updated and ready for PoS, but noticed all the available downloads for Mac wallets were version 1.0.0.0.
Doesn't seem like a crucial update, so I should be fine right? In any case, does anyone know where I might find v1.0.0.1 for Mac? Thanks in advance! Can't wait to see where AC takes us!

Everyone, the trend we are seeing today is exactly what we want. We want a steady rise, not a huge pump followed by a huge dump. If that does happen as we saw a few hours ago (and it will occasionally happen) , we want to see it correct to a straight moderate incline on the 5 hour average - which we have. This shows the coin is being very supported as a constant buy. IMO this coin is still very undervalued (and I have been here from the start and was saying the same thing when it fell to 500 even with all the trolls around telling everyone the AC world was over - where are they now lol)! Buy it - it will continue to go up.

I agree, I usually do an extremely large pump before taking a huge dump.

I really must stay of the cooked meats.

 Cheesy

PS - we are almost at 200 pages in two weeks - that alone shows an incredible community!

I'm curious about my wallet settings. Do I need to leave the wallet unlocked when I turn off my computer? It's locked every time I open up the wallet and I have to unlock with my password. Will this prohibit me from gaining interest with my PoS? (I'm new to the cryptocurrency world). Cheers for any info

Just checked myself... You are right, we need to unlock it every time. Let's wait for a reply from someone of knowledge.

Is the POS phase kicking in at block 20,160 or is the POS phase going to start on 1 May 2014? If it is the latter what is the timezone used?

There is no fixed date for POS.Only the Block number matters.

Just checked myself... You are right, we need to unlock it every time. Let's wait for a reply from someone of knowledge.

My wallet is encrypted, but it needs to be unlocked to stake:

1. In the wallet app, click Help -> Debug Window
2. Click Console Tab
3. On the command line enter: walletpassphrase <your wallet pass phrase> 999999 true

This will unlock the wallet for MINTING ONLY and is safe.  Put in your wallet passphrase in place of the <> above (your wallet IS encrypted, right?)
So if your pass phrase was bob you would enter:
walletpassphrase bob 999999 true

The 999999 is seconds.
