coins appears in the stake part of your wallet when they are still being checked by the other transactions (like any transaction it needs to be verified and reach "maturity") the number of transactions needed to confirm your pos stake differ from one coin to another. If thoses coins went into your balance, then yu have succesfully earned stakes, if not then they were orphans blocks and you have to stake again (you don't loose coin age on orphans tought).

not sure if i answered the question tought.

noob question.... if i have my wallet encrypted (password protected)... my wallet will not stake coins or what???

it can be encrypted. but it must be UNLOCKED. (Settings/Unlock Wallet)

you can also just unlock it for PoS minting. So transaction won't go out,
but staking works:

this command in walletconsole:
Code:
walletpassphrase PASSWORD 999999 true

PASSWORD = your password

Do you have to do it from command ? Or, simply unlocking wallet is enough for staking ?
I get this error "
20:12:50

Error: Error parsing JSON:mypassword "

Is it because its already unlocked?

this is very funny.. so many idiots out there. many of the trollseven don't know what a PoS is and how it
exactly works. stop feeding them!

AsiaCoin will go very high. Just wait for the multipools to start buying ACs, you will se what is going to happen.
10k sat is no far away.. it s will be higher than that in couple of weeks. For sure.

That's true.I hold 300 k AC,and after couple of months it will make real good profit for me.

You are RIGHT! EVERYBODY will get rich in a couple of month. That s how the game works.

SIMPLE.  Just buy a ton of coins today, and in a couple of month, sell them for a nice BIG profit. I dont understand why people try to be reasonnable.

To the moon! i don t care about the market cap, i dont care that nothing has been done to the coin yet, i don t care that a shit load of coins have been sold at 2000+

All i know is that i blindly believe that this comunity will makes me rich in a couple of month!

TO THE MOOOON!!!! yeah baby

Yeah baby, right to the moon. That s the only way to go!

Excuse my potential ignorance, but without commercial adoption, isn't this 100% profit simply 100% inflation?

well sarcasm is working well ^^
just if he actually bought hundred s of thousands of coins then he can afford to wait a few months and see where price is going by slowly moving up his sell order with the price, making a good profit wherever it might end.

good luck to you trollollo

good luck everyone
too much suspicious coin with no dev,
i'm moving to FLT

Thank you dev.. For doing such a great job that so much fud is being spread.. Well I will hold my coins with a sell order at 1900. I know that one day it will go true. Could be tommorow, could be next week. Could be in a fucking month.

Faircoin got dumped from 2700 down to 1400 for WEEKS before it went to 7k
As soon as the dev starts posting here about updates and multipool coin goes back up
As soon as people cashed out fluttercoin, coin wil go up

I get this error "
20:12:50

Error: Error parsing JSON:mypassword "

Is it because its already unlocked?

Close your wallet, then re-open it. Now go Help>Debug Window. Now select the Console tab.

Type the following at the bottom:

Code:
walletpassphrase YourPassphrase 9999999 true

Replace the YourPassphrase with your own passphrase. (the encryption password you encrypted your wallet with) The 9999999 relates to the amount of seconds that you wish to leave the wallet open for staking. Once you have added this hit Enter.

You will see that the information was added correctly.

Important Now hit the Red bar next to where you entered your text, to clear the information from your console. CTRL + L will do the same thing. Don’t worry this won’t affect Staking, but it will prevent people who may have access to your machine or wallet looking at your wallets console window to see if there are any traces of your passphrase. Always clear any text that you add to the console for security purposes.

The text will have been removed now so close the console area by hitting the red X (top right - normal way to close a window)

Your wallet will now be open for Staking, but will still be encrypted, meaning that you will still have to input your encryption passphrase in order to send coins from your wallet.

Basically, this is the safest way of Staking.
