Odd.... My AC has been sitting in my wallet since April 14th. Hasn't staked one bit. Im on a mac wallet. Temporarily moved the wallet to windows to see if its doing something there.... but nope. Is there some magic spell I need to type on the console to jump start the staking? Maybe something's broken in the wallet? Its all synching and everything just fine... Anyone faced anything similar here?
Do you have your wallet encrypted? If yes, you need to keep it unlocked Nope... never encrypted it and was always unlocked. Here's a screenshot

I don't know about Mac or Linux wallets, but my Windows wallet is staking perfectly fine! I've already staked 4 times since I first mined this coin over two weeks ago. Here is a screenshot:

Do you have your wallet encrypted? If yes, you need to keep it unlocked Nope... never encrypted it and was always unlocked. Here's a screenshot It clearly shows that you made a deposit on April 25th and a couple withdraws to your wallet April 30th. In order to have the coins in your wallet stake and receive interest, it takes 14 days from the day you deposit the coins. During this time, the coins must be left in the wallet untouched. The wallet app itself does not have to be running all the time. Just make sure you sync the wallet once a day or so to update blocks. (you may have to unlock the wallet for it to sync with the network) Another note worth mentioning to all is, If you deposit more funds during the 14 day period, the stake period for those coins begin the day you make the deposit. If you withdraw funds during the 14 day period, only the remaining coins will be eligible for interest after the stake period. Hope that clarifies how POS works.

Any news when blog bounties will be paid or have they just all been paid to the one article spinner guy? I sent my blog post to the DEV via pm and posted also here in the ann thread ages ago and I don't see it up, nor did I receive a bounty or acknowledgement as promised in the bounties section.

My understanding is they are still perfecting the multipool. Be patient, good things will come to those who wait. p.s. the Dev logged in this morning and was online earlier today

I think there is someone buying very large amounts of AC the last couple days. Someone said that AC is following a BC like trend in the charts. From what it looks like there is a calculated slow drop in price and an accumulation. If that is true then right now we are at 1/20th of the peak price that AC will be at in a few weeks. And around 1/7th of the new floor price that we will be at. But the stake for AC is much higher than BC so that could make it rise faster than BC did as well as the expectation to reach BC levels. But of course the price is dropping for a bit. This really feels like the floor at 1000-1200. Even bouncing around from this floor and back up to 1200-1400 is a very large amount of gain if you buy and sell that range. If the Dev is with the team that is buying and has the intention to take the coin to BC levels then it makes sense to enter this "chill" phase to accumulate. Anyways you can play this price range and 10% a day is a lot when it adds up. This coin has done me very nicely so far And I think it's about to go much farther but it will not be instant. 1000~1600 is the floor of this year.

This coin can make it huge. So it is advisable not to "play" with all your hard earned AC, or you might get burned for all the wrong reasons. Always leave a backup-stack for the loooong play , let's say 1/3 of your coins to stake for the whole year, just in case that this coin becomes the next litecoin... Just my thoughts !
