Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I WOULD NOT BE BUYING! The devs are forking the blockchain or have already. The way I see it, any transactions after the fork will likely be nullified. Anyone buying AC1 can potentially get screwed. It's what happened with the bitcoin blockchain fork.
It's why they are saying "Do not buy. Do not sell."
Selling is quite safe... I have 1.7 BTC which is going nowhere. Asiacoin on the other hand could go to 100 sats maybe lower... Damn... I was hoping for 25 sats  |
