Please add Deathtoallptots to that list, I own 130,000 AC.
I spent the last few days contacting merchants and Alt coin payment processer. I know I'm new here, but I've been working with crypto auction sites for over a year.

there is a theoretical way to fix it.

but not practical. forget it.

Have some faith. There are tons of BTC lost in this endeavor. The community must come together and make this possible.

It seems entirely fixable, just time consuming and requiring a coder preferably with experience with coin code, but its not rocket science  Cheesy

Guys. I hold no AC. So, can I share a neutral perspective. I know many people have lost money in this. It's almost criminal (actually it is criminal) what original dev has done.

But if those 3 billion coins are moving on the blockchain, then I don't think, anyone can save anything now. Is there a running block explorer for the coin and is address of 3 billion coins known?

Just watch that. If those coins are moving. Forget it really. If not, there still may be some chance.

I really wish whole anonymous coin launching goes away forever now and atleast big exchanges ask for identity verification by altcoin creators.

It is not 3 billion, it is more like 60 billion! Dev said that number and transactions from block 6845 confirm that pre-mine is much bigger than 3 billion

a lil more than 3.2 billion coins.

Block 6845 contains around 100 transactions each worth over 350 million coins. Recipient address is the same

that was just a chain of unconfirmed transaction relying on the previous transaction.
i know what i am talking about.

i FOUND THIS SCAM OUT! it was me who published it and who got laughed by many others.

Now who's laughing?  Thank goodness I stayed away from all these country and color coins.

Same way Wall Street, banks, corporations, politicians, rapists, and murderers do.  They cannot feel for others.  Hard to understand for us normal human beings.

OK, I see. How do you explain the fact that dev said 60 billion?

AsiaCoin

Please explain how the exchange of AC to ACV2 will work, is it gonna be 1:1, or?

yes, 1:1 exchange. So there won't be 60 billlion AC anymore.
We also need some coders to review the code.

I wouldn't say that it's not practical.. maybe not feasible is a better word.

Although , i think a *lot* of people were scammed by this.. this had high volume on all the major exchanges.  BCT thread was always top..

And tbh the exchanges were complicit in spreading this scam.  They were probably paid off by the scam developers to get this coin listed early and quickly onto these exchanges.

Then all folks started trading on it.. I do think this is probably the biggest scam in crypto history thus far in terms of how many people were caught in this net...

well.

i lost some BTC.
bitsta (the guy who coded the new blockexplorer and helped with finding out this scam and confirmed the sources were edited) lost +25BTC
ra1nb0wdash lost +3BTC
ApoloTwo lost 10BTC or 20 BTC on it ( i am not sure).

so we all got scamed. thats it. we all made loss.

you all laughed at me when i published this yesterday. many were screaming "troll", "FUD", "blablabla".
i even was threatend via PM. some users told me to immediately delete my posting.
i reposted it today when my blockexplorer was fixed and the sources checked. and then it was not funny.
for nobody.

we also had some OPs of major exchanges on th line. and AC will never ever be listed again.

anyway. AC, AC2 or AC3 won't survive a single day. thats for sure.

we wished this hadn't happened. but we fell into this scam. sad but true.

Dev said it was hacker attack. Just pure probability - there is much more hacker attacks than malevolent developers. I am not here to judge - this might be hacker attack. after blockchain is fixed Asiacoin IMHO restores easily

That is assuredly a lie at this point.  I am 100% sure this was a Dev scam from the start.

The proof is in the GetValue code, there was a deliberate attempt at obfuscating the premine in the code, from the start.  There is no doubt about that at this point.

micron thanks for your expertise ( from which I not much understand ) . but I am not bad in psychology : why dev said , 60 billion premine , when you all experts say it was 3.2 billion premine ? not going much into long reasoning into possible deep trickstery, this IMHO sounds as dev was somewhat badly informed. Another question: not being a coder : this line in code is very unique ? for instance peercoin does not have same line in code ? another question : as far as I understand such code is more or less open source. is it theoretically possible that someone modified this code ?
