yes u did but u and i get the same problem like me you dint made the optimal choice, for me was keeping the position open and for you was to close that when the market was above 7

At least it's clear enough where we're headed.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I don't think the price is going up.  I've put bids in between $3 and $4 $6.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

You might catch the $6 if you get lucky.

Like I'm saying.  I really think the long term upward trend is too strong for there to be any more sub 6 prices.  Maybe.  I'm prepared to go as low as $5.  Any lower than that and I will have to add to my margin to prevent Zhoutonging  Shocked Embarrassed Angry

just a feeling from a noob but I think we will see an other up for a few cents....

I am playing long ...

(with my playmoney and this is less then 10 cheezies)

EDIT:
oh oh looks like i lost 2 burgers .... maybe I am just bad at gambling, lol.

How do you biggies all handle this up and down with real money? I mean its funny to loose or win a few bucks but if you do more then a few grand... wow that would mentally kill me.

I'm no "biggie" myself... I just bet with some coins I mined and then a very small amount of dollars from my Pell grant... (think two orders of magnitude less than the "biggies")... And I will still cry (on the inside) if I lose it all, because I could have used that money for cheeseburgers and tacos  Cheesy

i dont know about u but i am in again Smiley joined at 5.9

I'm in again on MtGox.  I'm staying far, far away from bitcoinica.  In any event, this shakedown increased my overall BTC position by quite a lot.

I expect a full apology when we hit $5.  Likewise, I'll do the same if this doesn't play out.

Hardly.  Here's my best guess at what's going to happen for the foreseeable future.  We'll continue on a slow downtrend for several weeks, possibly dipping down into the $4 range.  Despite the downward trending price, the amount of money on the bids side will continue to grow.  I think the downward price movement, combined with so far unprecedented amounts of money prepared to buy is going to act like a very tough spring.  When the spring is released the price will very quickly pass resistance levels and reach new 2012 highs (I doubt very much the price will pass all time highs).

I see no reason why we should go that low.  I doubt we'll go under 5.8.  I see no immediate reason for a decline even this far, but wouldn't count it out either.
