Stephen, if you read this...I think you should really consider bustin out the Colbert Bump for this. You don't understand the amount of good we can do to both developed and under-developed regions with the amazingly motivated crypto community and your international influence

If he doesn't approve of us using his name, or doesn't acknowledge it in a reasonable amount of time, we will change the name and continue development under a new coin name. All balances and wallets will remain intact if the name changes


Plans for the short term
Obviously, CC will be included in the launch of Paysha Digital Payments and Merchant Services. The number one priority of myself and everyone involved is to get some CC to Stephen as fast as possible, but only through his show. I will send all collected coins only to the CC address he puts on TV. Simple as that. He can hand them out in paper wallets to audience members, use them for charity, build a Colbert statue...whatever he thinks the best course of action is

Look guys theres some issues with the pool, its really recommended you solo mine untill its sorted out.
Your shares should be 100% preserved there should be nothing to worry about , and you should be ok to keep mining on coinfreaks pool and when its fixed your balance will update.
But i still suggest you move on untill its fixed. Strange issues some users are getting there auto payouts and some are not.
Manually request a payout if you like and solo untill its fixed.

Nope. SPOT, CPR, and TIX. Which is another reason I did a SHA coin this time. I want to be able to include at least one of my own projects on Paysha. Did you not look at the facts? There are less than 5500 coins right now!!! Get it through your head, this coin is one of the LEAST quickly mined coins out there. That said, my 36 gh cubeminer does not get a lot of coin either. It is a rare coin with a block reward of 1 coin, get it? As far as not having an antminer goes, I rented some hash power for this. You can too. Every altcoin you trade in BTC. You know, that little SHA256 coin? I mine every algo you have listed above and I use GPU too. I really like X11. But I have an open mind. You don't need to like this algo, but you don't need to be jerk about it either. Calling this "instamine" does not even qualify as "truthiness."

But each day more coins are mined, so wouldn't supply increase and price decrease? Or does that mainly depend on how many miners decide to hold or sell their newly mined coins? And I guess also it will depend on the interest in people wanting to buy the coin too as time goes on? Any other factors to consider?  The only other coin I followed semi-closely was blackcoin but by the time I joined the thread about a month ago, mining was already over. So this is all new to me.

Mostly trying to work my mind around how it works, if it makes sense to buy up now or wait, and how it relates to or separates itself from similar coins.

That is because it is the last block found. Yup. hardly anyone is left mining this and transactions are seldom. This coin sadly appears abandoned. This coin is in short supply at 1 coin per block. I have contacted the dev in the hopes for some clarity on his intentions moving forward. I feel like this may be a nice coin to attempt salvaging. It would not hurt to ask around for potential recruits for a development team to at least jump start this thing.

iGotSpots, there seems to be interest in this coin still, how about updating the code so that Poloniex can sync their wallet? You may be able to save this coin after all. I mean Stephan Colbert is pretty much an icon here in the USA and I think the coin could do well with a little effort put into it. Hell, if you even tried a little he may notice it and say something about it on his show.

It's pretty frustrating when an exchange can not get their shit together and fix a wallet issue for a month and a half. Yet my 2 computers are running CC just fine.

On Poloniex it has been showing 2 of 15 confirmations since I sent them on May 18th!

And they will not answer my ticket. I even offered to upload the blockchain for them so they could download it and maybe fix the issue they are having but still no response.

Poloniex is delisting Colbert Coin. Someone bought 10 BTC and a 37BTC worth 2 days in a 6 week period.  Obviously some whale or trust-fund Colbert fan was blindly buying them up every few weeks. Odd story with this coin. It becomes undead randomly. Without an exchange it will likely die. I got an old cubeminer on it for shits and giggles at this point. Not much else I would use the miner for. I know, mining near dead coins is a fools folly. Thing is, this coin has been super profitable for me after those two big buy ups.

I am thinking this coin still has a shot even without Poloniex.. It just has to survive long enough for Colbert's new show to start, then there's a good chance of renewed interest.

Any suggestions on where to go to get a wallet? I think I just moved them from exchange to exchange and never actually downloaded a wallet. Now that my coins are free from coinjail the one wallet link I can find is dead.

I have been mining to keep the network alive. I'm still hoping someone will resurrect it. Out of all the celebrity's out there I am sure Stephen Colbert would actually go along with the coin and not sue to have it removed. It's too bad that the dev let the coin die this way. Well, it's still not completely dead. I will keep running an ASIC on it just in case.

Yup, I still drop a little hashing power at this once in a while. Really low difficulty and it helps keep the network alive. This is a coin that is ripe for resurrecting if the right people felt inclined to do so.
