I think the closer we get to the PoS stage the more people that have been holding back will be tempted to get back in. At that stage we might see a panic buy pump before PoW finishes.

I agree. This is why I bought in from 1600 down to 1300, I didn't want to risk the price rising really fast upwards, which will happen at some point soon.

I agree. This is why I bought in from 1600 down to 1300, I didn't want to risk the price rising really fast upwards, which will happen at some point soon.

They are slow also because of the volume they have.
Everyone was praising mintpal and just the last week when they were hit by a 4000btc trade volume they failed big time.

And , I never thought I was going to say but craptsy just looks more reliable than others.

If you can't do them both at the same time, its too risky. Do a trade, wait for transfer, do second trade...too risky.

Well not every coin that is mined will be sold. Out of the 90 million coins left, maybe only 60 million will hit an exchange. And like whitecoinjesus said, the price increase might start before the end of PoW. Everybody knows when it ends its not like its a surprise. So people will try to bid early to get a good price, then the snowball effect happens as more and more bids come in.

not everyone mining is selling their WC.  

Also keep in mind over the next few weeks the multipool will be doing the opposite and buying up close to that amount.

I wouldn't hope for an immediate recovery once the coin switches to PoS either. When blackcoin switched to PoS, the price went up about 10%, stayed there for a day and then plunged down to 600 from 1400 when nothing happened.

Definitely better opportunities to buy in than now.

Did BC invited 2000 BTC volume on listing? As it currently stands WC is pretty much being mined exclusively by multipools. Its distribution would be far better than BC and hence the support.

If Dev team don't abandon the ship for quick success. This coin is going places.

You are right,  but not all coins which are bought will be kept
let's say 70 million, or as you like 60 million, it's 600 BTC at 1000 sat
with now strong future projects this coin will need weeks to get some interested investors to pump it

well theres more volume than 900 BTC @ mintpal alone so yea its no problem

as soon as theres a massive dump the buy orders start pilling back up

The majority of people who bought into this pump and dump have got burned so far by the price fall.

Why is the dev going to hang around when he premined a huge amount of the coins for himself? If he's smart he probably dumped them already onto the market at 2000 satoshis.

Maybe he'll stick around but I wouldn't bank on it.

Don't forget the market is also being flooded with Blackcoin clones now. By the end of next week there will be a half a dozen of these things trying to be the "next blackcoin". It's simple logic that's not possible.
