Any news on implementing coin control?
Yes coin control is on the table.
But for the immediate future there is no reason to mess with a working wallet.
First goal is to revitalize the TALK/BCC community. Now that we have an exchange listing the hope is that many of the 1200 airdrop recipients will start to re-appear on the thread.
Second goal is to get TALK to be tipped often between bitcointalk.org members, there is a program in the works to distribute coins (purchased on the open market) to very active Hero and Sr. Members ... this is the prime 'case use' of TALK ... a way to show thanks for informative posts on any thread.
Third is to provide price support. This is program is already active, I have guaranteed to underwrite the value of TALK at 20satos. This is to assure value in case of a whale stabbing the market. If you win a bid at 10satos then I am obliged to pay 20satos, if you so choose to accept the standing offer. As the community grows this price support of an absolute bottom will slowly raise the base value. Others are free to pledge an underwriting too
Fourth is to develop a 'multi label' product, which is already working ... BCC and TALK are the same token but focus on different markets and case uses. This is a novel approach to building value and growth. The only limit is our imagination and our will to follow through.
Fifth is to do a hard fork and yes include coin control, along with the latest 2.0 POS safety measures. But this will take careful planning and any changes will need full community approval. If this is not deemed necessary then the wallets will only be updated but not forked.
Today the wallet works (both of them), the market is open, the price support is posted, there are 2 block chain explorers, 2 faucets, and at least 1200 share holders.
The value is up to us, and it might just be a fun way to reward the TALK members who bring the most value to bitcointalk.org
Exciting news for BCC holders and wanna-be holders:
BCC is back on an exchange - https://cryptorush.in/market#/market/BCC-BTC
Some of you may know cryptorush was hacked (several times) last spring and lost a bunch of coins, but they are being rebuilt from scratch by new owners, who are promising to repay everyone who comes back to claim their cryptorush v1.0 account balances. Here is a video of the new owner explaining the hacks and his takeover at grrcon in October:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K9xK5t9ckcI've tested BTC withdrawals on cryptorush v2.0 and they do work
When I tested the BCC withdraw it was literally nanoseconds. It is cool to have a coin network that processes a send so quick, and cryptorush seems to process the order to withdraw the second you click (no email confirmation needed if you select that option).
