Facebook accepts Bitcoin?

Haven't came across any such information through any of the articles. Facebook has been used as a platform to promote bitcoin as well several other projects that exist related to the same. If Facebook has started accepting bitcoin, now we could have gone far apart in value. Maybe in future this might come true.

Yeah the same case with me I have not seen the bitcoin being accepted in the facebook but if we look at the value of the bitcoin then we will say it will be the best thing about the bitcoin as it is now increasing in the value and the time I hope the bitcoin will give the best and the future of the bitcoin will increase more and more with the passage of the time. The value of the bitcoin is now having the high demand so hope the facebook will accept the bitcoin in the future.

If Facebook does not accept btc right now, why is it eternal in the future? Facebook is a site that users lose and die every day. There is no better time to accept BTC.

Accepting bitcoin as mode of payment in facebook is just a humor but maybe in future it will.theres no impossible about bitcoin and facebook having business together coz as we all knew they are both virtual business.and no one knows if as of this moment they are having deals in not proper forum

This will surely happen in the future because bitcoin is great, and for now I will wai for some details about facebook accepting bitcoin now as mode of payment. Big companies will surely use blockchain technology in coming years.

Based on what I've heard, it was just a rumor. Originally it was just for laughs but then some people mistook that information and created a rumor out of it.

I haven't still heard from any antithetic news that Facebook is using bitcoin or will be using bitcoin in near future. When bitcoin will become more popular and usable in multinational companies, only then we can except facebook to make such a move. Right now i dont see nay reason why would facebook be willing to accept bitcoins ?

I don't think that BTC is ready for this.   Maybe after 2-3 years.

And bitcoin needs some price stabilization to become one of the chosen currency

Its not true. Dont believe some rumors spreading. They will not let facebook be part of their system. It will have such a big adjustment for them to take over that. But still, as we see as of now bitcoin is spreading and doing good. Maybe one day some changes will go unto that.

More like a wallet the new update of  the messenger (part of facebook) have some new features on it called money. I've check it and they accept on the paymaya i guess

They only accept creditcards and paypal.  If you want to pay using your btc,  why not use virtual debit cards can be fund using bitcoin?

I have not heard any news about this from the facebook team nor from the facebook CEO but maybe it could happen ,facebook is known as the most popular social networking right now there are some game services that only use credit cards only and actually this is not safe card credit can be misused by hacker criminals ,it looks safe when bitcoin is used for this in the future sir

I’m not so sure about this. I doubt that facebook has already started accepting bitcoin. Although, I’ve read a lot of some kind of advertisements about bitcoin in facebook, but still I don’t think facebook or the company itself already accepts bitcoin.

Facebook will accept bitcoin? I do not get it. Accept bitcoin as payment? Who will pay? The users? Me, when I use facebook, I do not pay for anything except if I ordered something in online shops in facebook. All I know is that there are shops in facebook that accepts bitcoin like the shops that is all about gadgets. They posted the details of payment so I notice it nut I did not try it.
You heard rumours? Well, from what you have said “rumour”, it may happen it may not it may be true, it may be a lie. And last time I check, if that is rumour mostly the story change as it pass to different people. Maybe the real news is has been added some details or maybe some details are not told.

I don't know but with all this bitcoin craze going on, I think they are already into it before we knew it.  Bill Gates is one of the proponents of bitcoins and  there is no reason why Mark will not accept it.

Will facebook later receive bitcoins? I don't think so, because facebook really likes payment via creditcard, which is anti from bitcoins. So it will not get it.

I haven't read any statement from facebook that they have future plans of accepting bitcoin. They might be or they won't so this thread has been created a lot of years way back then. Still no news about facebook, regarding this thing but I would love to see them start adopting bitcoin for their services.

Totally an hearsay, I can't find any reliable source that tells facebook is starting to accept bitcoin very soon. 3 years after OP asked this question still no one gave a source that prove that Zuckerberg is considering bitcoin integrating to his business. But it will be a great adoption if he'll start to use bitcoin for facebook as it's now on the trend and bitcoin now is very popular.
