I wanted to update the community on some of the things currently going on with the coin, and also say thanks for all the support we have received.  Keep it going everyone!  

Pool

We are considering creating our own pool, similar to what Blackcoin has done.  This may be an opportunity to create a wider market for XSS, and increase the efficiency and profitability.

There is a poll going on right now that everyone would should partake in.  You can also comment in the forum, or contact me with any feedback.

Voting

We are currently on 4 exchanges.. CryptoALTeX, AllCoin, Bittrex, and AllCrypt.  

Mintpal- In just the last 3 days, we have added nearly 1,000 votes on Mintpal.  

Cryptsy- We have 5 pages of comments and 35 likes for adding XSS to the Vote List.

Poloniex- Have been contacting them to add XSS to the list repeatedly.

Stability Shares Faucet

A faucet is being created to help get more people interested in our coin.  Will post more details when they are available.

Paper Wallet

Our developer is working on this and we should have an update in the coming days.

Merchants

We feel strongly that a coin needs merchant adoption to thrive.  bminer777 has experience in this realm, and we should be adding merchants in the coming weeks.

Help Wanted

In order to grow the coin, we want to add more people to our team.  Like any other job, there is compensation.

bminer777 is the current developer, and has done a tremendous job so far.  We have big plans for the coin, so adding another person to help part-time could be a great way to earn some XSS.

Marketing is also another important topic.  Getting our name out there and getting a presence on the forums, social media, and other avenues is an integral part of our strategy.

There is a couple problems I see with running our own pool.
 
1) Blackcoin pool works because the coin itself is not mineable anymore, and by mining other profitable coins & selling them to buy blackcoins it creates significant buy orders for blackcoin.

For us the coin is mineable and its possible that creating our own pool we may end up taking the lion share of the net hashrate which could cause problems.  I guess you could do it like blackcoin and mine other coins to sell and buy xss but then the net hashrate may drop.

I guess I need a better explanation of how the pool would work, and what the benefits would be for the community.

Great feedback so far.  Keep voting and commenting on this idea.  We are still working out the kinks on the idea.  Just wanted to float it out there and get an idea of how people view this concept.

We have discussed changing to POS.  That would be a big change, so we want to focus on the initial marketing of the coin and development of features, before making a big switch like that. We would also need assistance with development.  bminer777 has done a great job, but can always use a little help on technical side.

Ok, so for marketing, like I saw on COMM or AC thread, people are getting some free coins for voting and tweeting them, and there are a lot of people actually who likes that idea, we could too, make that somehow officially so everyone could see, but so that we would not break bitcointalk giveaways rules.

I totally agree in turning it into POS..This will make the demand and value of the Coin skyprocket and not know what hit it so I voted for POS and multipool..

Definitely agree.  Do you support creating a pool in conjunction with that like a Dopecoin, Blackcoin, Dogecoin?  

Do you support the change just because it would bring extra attention, or do you also believe it would improve the coin technically?

The pool we can likely handle ourselves.  A change to POS may involve some developmental assistance.

Not sure I understand your comments.  Maybe a little bit of a language barrier.

I have personally spent about 150 hours the last month trying to re-launch this coin.  Every coin I have, I purchased with my own BTC. 

I have also donated thousands of coins for promotions, which I can link to all the threads of the various coin forums if you so desire.

Hopefully if the community decides that a change to POS is whats best for Stability Shares, people would donate XSS and BTC to compensate the developmental help we need, rather than expect me to pay for it myself.
