Update: First screenshot of Encrypted Messaging GUI.

The backend of the encrypted messaging protocol has been completed. The GUI is now being completed and we will have all screens shots up by Thursday evening. Final testing will begin after the GUI is complete.

This is a glimpse into the progress that has been made. As we are ahead of development schedule, we have included in the soon to be released wallet update a feature originally scheduled for the second wallet release three weeks from now...the IRC chat box.

A question for you sir as brought up by someone in the chatbox over at Atomic Trade, is the IRC built upon the encrypted messaging, with being able to create/moderate/lock rooms, or is it a single centralized IRC for the wallet?

A centralized chat will obviously get spamfudtrolled to death by competing coins' toadies, so it's a valid concern regarding this progress being the cause of the mintpal pump today. What with the recent sacking of truecrypt via our lovely friends at the NSA, there is a void in the market somewhat for trusted pgp related software and safe ways to pass information.

If any further screenshots can be provided that would also help alleviate any concerns that was just a single mockup screenshot in photoshop to appease people into bagholding/pumping. Not that I think that, but it is still a possibility. I am afterall holding quite a few buy orders in a spread in case this dumps following the pump anyway.

This is one of the few coins I've been holding since the start and only sold if it meant buying more back. Most are daytrader fodder, I do see potential here for the future.

From update:

The encrypted messaging is a completely different system than the chat box...the encrypted messaging is under its own "encrypted messaging" tab, as seen in the GUI shot. This was a progress update, more details will follow...

I can understand why you re-posted that section, I missed or forgot about where you said the screenshots would be amongst other conversation about details. Part that remains unanswered is whether the encrypted messaging has any features beyond a 1 to 1 transfer, but I can understand why you aren't giving out that information yet if that's the reason for not going further at all in your reply.

barabbas, you seem to be changing your tone. Now you are saying it might be a legit coin. By the end of next week after the first release, I'm sure you will be a fully converted investor. A pre-welcome to the club to you buddy!

You must be perceiving me wrong. I am 100% convinced it is a scam. No ifs, no buts.

But I guess some people perceive at will rather than what is stated, no matter how clearly.

Now, if you believe that someone capable of coding a "feature" consisting in encrypted messages wallet to wallet is going to impress me, much less favorably, you are sadly mistaken. It I were an 8i year old with just a couple weeks experience in an Ipad, perhaps; as it is, I believe than ANY 8-year-old with full access to a computer but about a year is capable of coding such "feature" (which has as much utility as a bathing suit in norther Alaka, by the way).

I don't know if the imagery clicks with your perception, but hopefully the vast majority of people would "get" it.

Oh, and by the way, there are several coins already with such a feature fully implemented... not that most anyone gives a flying fuck about it. So, more probably than not, what you will be looking at in 2 weeks is yet another hack copy/pasted job that doesn't work, just like the blockchain doesn't, just like the old and new wallets don't...

But who cares, right? as long as a few traders swallow the load and take the price 30-40% higher... even if you -and most here- still hold considerable bags from the high 20s...

Funny, funny, funny...

Using the encrypted messaging system in this wallet upgrade you will be able to send encrypted messages, order forms, receipts and invoices wallet to wallet.

A sell wall popped up after the announcement, to insure that the price wouldn't rise. No one bought through the wall.
